Cleveland RTG Wedges

Cleveland RTG Wedges

DESCRIPTION

Cleveland Golf's RTG Wedges are the most played wedges on Tour. Their non-chrome finish creates a more abrasive surface resulting in greater spin and a very soft feel.

I play Mizuno Sures as my irons and love them but lost the PW recently (of course, no one turned it in). I decided to buy the RTG 45 deg PW (Gun Metal) and what a great decision. I love the weight of it, the instant lift and high trajectory , the spin and feel when it's struck correctly. A great club which I figured it would be because the 56 deg I have is great out of the sand and deep rough. I shot in the 80s for the first time this year and I can directly attribute a lot of it to this new wedge because I was sticking a lot of shots on the greens with it (I had been trying to hit partial nine irons for a few weeks and leaving a lot short). Anyway, great club - the weight, spin, and trajectory are all excellent. If I could get my putting average to less than 40 per 18 I might have an OK score some day.

Great everything I read is true. The club slides under the ball and throws it where you want. The first week I used it people began saying "Ive got to learn how to spin the ball like that!" I hit it in sand from fairways and rough, tight lies. Full swing, half swing pitch and chip shots. Open or closed face this club does the trick. It's beginning to rust. I can't wait!

This wedge is great, it has a nice crisp feel to it and a wonderful ballflight. Getting to hit it long is a bit harder than some other wedges, but i still love it. I've had mine for about a year now and it has quite a bit of rust. I had to buy a scotch-brite pad to take some of it off but it keeps coming back...it really helps with spin. I plan on buying the lob wedge RTG soon. I can't wait to put it in my bag!

this club doesn't check up that well but the face hasn't started to rust yet so I am hoping that then I can get more spin.

I bought this wedge few weeks ago and used couple times. I don't like the hard feel of this wedge. It's very hard to be consistent with this wedge. I went back to my Callaway loft wedge for 70 yards and in.

i have the 49,54,and 60 degree rtg wedges in my bag - i can't say enough good things about them - the balls stops quickly, the 54 is easy to control and good out of the sand. i like the 49 and 60 because they seem to work well no matter what the lie

Best club I ever purchased. The more it rusts up the better it plays. I trust this thing with my life. (almost).
