Simply an AWESOME wedge! Slides through rough like a hot knife thru butter. Makes it easy for sand shots. great for 100 yard shots. incredible club. i recommend the gunmetal over the classic chrome finish, it just seems to hit smoother and feel better. A++++

Model Reviewed: 900 rtg 56* sand wedge

Just bought this wedge and finally had the chance to put it to the test in the field. The club passed with flying colors! I love the feel of this club. I could never produce as much back spin with my previous sand wedge. First hole, I shot a chip shot from 20 yrds. out and produced massive backspin which got me 2 ft. pin high and the club is just starting to rust! Can't wait to use this club again. I highly recommend purchasing this club.

This is a great club. I needed something that was in between my PW and SW. This fit perfectly. Its heavy head gives me loads of confidence in hitting the ball.

My rtg is starting to rust now and its feel is getting better. I don't notice any distance lost either.

Note: I hit range balls with this club when it was new and noticed that the face actually took off some of the outer surface of the ball! After playing with the rtg for a while, the face isn't doing this anymore. Just a caution if you are going to play your brand new rtg with some brand new Titleist Pros.

I originally ordered the RTG model, but due to a mix up, I got the Gunmetal instead. I can't say I'm disappointed - I chipped in twice the first round I played with them. I won't say this club works miracles, nothing can compensate for a bad swing, but they set up very nicely behind the ball and are very easy to align with the target. The spin is incredible, and they haven't even started to rust yet. I am still getting used to it out of the sand, and I find it has a little less distance from the fairway than I am used to. Since I mostly use this club for shots from 40 yards in this hasn't been a problem.

Model Reviewed: 900 FF Gunmetal 60o Low Bounce

Tried the 60o Low Bounce at a recent Demo Day and found it to be fantastic, especially from bare lies and compacted sand.
Ordered one there and then, received it 9 days later just in time for a competition.
With recent heavy thundery showers the sand in the bunkers has become compacted and the fairways have raimed firm - got up and down two for two from bunkers ( one up very close to the front lip ) and made a miracle shot over trees onto the green to save par.
What a superb club - feel is amazing, spin control is excellent and the low bounce promotes confidence from the barest of lies.

Model Reviewed: 56* Low Bounce RTG

This fantastic wedge provides excellent feedback and feel. It is very versatile around the green. I can play high shots with little roll or play low runners. The RTG provides great spin. I tried the 56* Chrome with 16 degree bounce. It felt good also but had too much bounce for my sand game. I also play a 60* 588 RTG. These two clubs make a great short game combination. With these Cleveland wedges, I feel as if I'm ready for any situation. The Ben Hogan 5610 is a great wedge also. It is a little lighter and has a larger head. I would still be playing it except I gave it to my son. Then I replaced it with the Cleveland 900. I like the Cleveland a little more. It is 5 yard longer than the Ben Hogan so I can play the Cleveland Lob Wedge rather than having a Gap Wedge in my baf. I have a BH 5208 Gap. It is a great Gap Wedge. The Cleveland 56* 588 is great from the sand but the 900 seems to be more versatile around the green

This club is AWESOME. I played for the first time with it yesterday. It just plain out sticks to the green. I have the 56 on the way to me. The greens were to wet for me to generate any backspin. I hope they do with the firm greens cause I have a tendancy to shoot to teh back of teh green. Now I just need to work on the putting. I will get back when I recieve the 56 in the mail.

This is a followup to my review of the 60*. I added the gap (52) and sand wedge(low bounce 56) to my bag. (I am somewhat of a Dave Pelz believer) These clubs inspire so much confidence. They are totally predictable, and allow me to forget any worries and just fire at the pin. I also love chipping with the 56--very easy to control. My short game, which is usually good but inconsistent, is now rock solid. All in all, these wedges are worth every penny, and had I realized it, I would've bought them way sooner. I just couldn't justify 3 plus benjies for new wedges. I was woefully mistaken, these are worth every penny!!!
An added benefit--I use the 52 to "groove" my swing--the heavy head and soft feel keeps my tempo smooth and gives me great feedback on all types of contact. I'd give these clubs more stars if it were possible!!!!

It is a very very good club. Although smaller than the 588's, it provides better spin, contact, and trajectory when struck. My first real shot of it was on the course, and I hit a nice high shot that when it hit the green sucked back about 12 feet. I was impressed. Around the green the club is solid... the ball checks nice and I always seem to be able to stop the ball where I want it. After that round I went out on the range with it to hit a couple rocks. I noticed that after every hit that the grooves on the face were left with yellow shards of plastic looking material, I then realised that that was the shell of the range ball stuck in the there! That club tears up the rock solid range balls! I advise any people looking for a good sand wedge to go buy the Cleveland 900 Series. It is well worth it!

Customer Service

Golf Bargains is a great place to deal with. I only had one problem with the servie.. I ordered a 1 - 2 day business day delivery and the club arrived about 6 business days later, but that was UPS's fault.
