Put simply, this club is SWEET!!! My short-game has been a consistent problem for me and I've always wanted a club that would help me around the greens. Although it still takes some practice, the Cleveland is about the most 'natural' club that I've ever used. Flop-shots from the fringe have never been easier and it hits perfectly from the fairway. Once I get the feel for various yardages, this will be a real weapon in my bag.

Great wedge. I have the 56 degree. I have made several up and downs with this club. I hit it around ninety five to one hundred yards. I usually use a little open face when hitting it 75 yards in. I have a tendancy to draw the ball a little with this club which i like when its going right at the pin. Very accurate and precision made golf club. I want a 52 degree now because im usually in between clubs at one hundred to a hundred and 10 yards.

I''m with Duddles on this one! Picked up a mint second hand 57deg and I''m blown away by the feel and consistency with this club. Having developed using set wedges and a cheapo lob, the results are phenomenal in terms of feel and versatility. I can properly apply the fundamentals i''d developed and the results appear thanks to this wedge''s quality. Fantastic height to which allows soft landing/hi-spin shots around 85 metres for me. Again, lighter than Vokey''s I''ve tried but the weighting seems just perfect on this. The lower bounce of the 57 is great for the conditions i play with and I''ve ordered a 53 now to complement the set after only owning the 57 for 4 days. Course performance for full fairway shots might require some grinding though. Local pro told me is should get the loft/lies checked for off-the-rack Cleveland as he''d seems some loft inconsistencies (might be a local thing)

Customer Service

Not needed yet, smaller offices here in Oz akin to distributors but the Cleveland guys locally are making a bigger presence lately with demo days etc.

Point and shoot. With these clubs it''s as easy as that. The 57 can be opened up for a lob shot, and is great out of sand too. The ball has a tremendous amount of backspin. It''s pretty cool to watch the ball bounce on the green. Just aim at the target and swing away. These clubs are great. They are lighter than the Vokey Wedges. I feel I can control these better due to the weight of the club. Some players like the club to take over and the Vokey would do that. I just like being able to control the club. With all of the new Wedges out there you can get these at a great price. And bare in mind this was the first break through wedge and people are now trying to duplicate its design.

Having had this wedge for around a month or so I have chipped in around 6 or 7 times. The wedge has a soft feel that is great when you are within 80 yards or so of the green. Personally I think that the wedge excells once you get within 40yards of the green, it has a knack of puting the ball next to (or in) the hole and keeping it there. Cant now decide what my 14th club should be, 2 iron, 7 wood or lob wedge.

Before I bought this wedge, I was struggling around the greens with a rock on a stick named the Wilson Fatshaft sand wedge. After it snapped, I thought I might as well buy the wedge that everyone was talking about, the gunmetal. I couldnt afford the forged 900, but the feel I get from the 588 is amazing enough anyway. It is so easy to get within tap-in range from short chips/lobs around the green. It doesnt produce green-eating spin, but it does provide controllable distance and accuracy. I would seriously recommend at least trying out a wedge from this range if you are not 100% confident with your current wedge.

This is one of the best clubs in my bag. I love to use it from just about anywhere. I don't hit it the farthest but thats o.k. because it gets be out of a lot of situations. I don't spin it back a lot but if I catch it right I do spin it or stop it pretty quickly. If you don't have this wedge you should think about getting it. This wedge can be played by anybody.

Fought hard to control the heavy club-head at first, maybe due to all the reviews I read about it being suitable only for low-handicappers. Later I realized that by just taking my usual swing and letting the club do the work, it's great to use. It's amazing how this wedge can get the ball out of the rough and difficult lies. I'm not a very good player, but my golfing buddies call this my "magic wedge" when I get onto the green from the seemingly unplayable spots.

These wedges are the best I have ever used. From anywhere around the green they are lethal and I prefer to use them over my putter at every opportunity. They frame the ball superbly, generate backspin which gives a very high level of control and really give you a belief that you are going to put the ball close. I cannot fault these clubs in any way and I am not surprised that they are the number 1 wedge amongst the pro ranks.
