Bought it used on eBay for around $80 and couldn't be happier. Once I trimmed it down to 33" and installed a Golfpride Dual Durometer it was pefect.

This is really a great putter! It is really quite heavy for as small as the head is, and it is all about feel. The only thing bad about it is the fact that the glare off the chrome can KILL you at times. Customer Service Never used it. Similar Products Used: Never Compromise TPD, Ping Anser |

The Wilson 8802 Vintage
I purchased this vintage putter a while ago and could not use it as it was 35" long. I finally cut it down and "lost" the collectable value of the putter but this putter will be in my bag forever. Combine it will a Precept Laddie and there is nothing more butter in the world. The putter seems to 'know' distances and continues to track to the hole long after you think your putt will die. Try one - today! |

Dificult to tame. Best feeling putter ever used. Very accurate. Little forgiving but other heel toe weighting putters do not produce miracles. Other putters have tried to take over in my bag but in the end the Wilson is always back. Customer Service Very Good Similar Products Used: Hate inserts.Ping Zing. Ping Anser 2. Ping B-60. Odessy Dual Force 222(lost, it was nice, loved the cling sound) Ram Zebra. Tear Drop. STX Sync. |

I've had this model 15 years. Some years always in my bag, some years I stray. However, It's like part of my hands on course. Fine feel, I get very good results in lag & putts outside 5 feet. I've regripped in 4 xs on use alone. Similar Products Used: Ping B 60, Anser 2, 2 ball, Rossie II |

I have used the Odssey Dual Force Rossie II for five years. I "swore" by it. I am very loyal regarding certain equipment, with the putter garnering the greatest level of loyalty. I recently underwent an overhaul regarding the mental side of putting. I decided to purchase a new putter to match the new mental side of things. I find great value in older, classical items like homes, cars and the like. I have become more of a "feel" putter. The Wilson 8802 is the putter of feel, smoothness of stroke, reacting to the target and consistency. I nnow have a new putter. It's name is 8802. |

My dad gave me an 8802 when I was starting to play golf, and boy I didn't know what I had in my hands. Definitely this is a great putter, I specially like it for long putts. Funny, I won a putting contest with my 8802, and got an Odyssey Rossie I, but it doesn't come to the 8802's precision on long putts. Similar Products Used: Odyssey Rossie I |

I bought my 8802 32 years ago at age 10 after looking in the bag of Lee Trevino. It's the only putter I have ever used and i have no intention of changing now. No other putter out there is even close if you know how to roll your golf ball. |

I've got the 8813 stainless model and love it. I putt by feel and this putter has all the rest beat. I used to putt with a Ping Anser, but after messing it up while making an "improvement", I went looking for a new putter before I headed up to a state tournament at Firestone. I took all dozen+ putters I own, along with several other new ones, and the 8813 sent them all packing. On right to left putts, you can easily putt on the toe to offset the break for a flatter putt and great feel. If you want to become a better putter, get rid of the fancy stuff, get an 8813, and get out to the practice green. |
