As a 16 year old aspiring to become a scratch golfer I am looking for the best. So when I saw Tiger using and winning with this putter I had to have one. When I went to the store and tested it I was shocked to find how hard it was to hit. Even though I felt this way I bought it anyway, telling myself it was just that day and it would be better tomarrow. When I went out that next day the same thing happened, every putt felt different; I was so disappointed. I had no choice but to take it back.

Model Reviewed: Napa, oil can finish

This is a wonderful putter if you like blades. It's clean and simple lines let you focus on face alignment without distraction. Typical with Titleist, there are no gimmicks and the look is timeless. It's expensive.

Model Reviewed: Scotty Cameron Newport Gun Blue

As Bill Murray once said ""Its in the Hole"" I first Looked at his club 3 Years ago when it was on sale for $179.00 at a local pro shop and I passed on it ""Too expensive"" I muttered. Then I tried the TEi3, The Prototype two, The Oil can, The Pro Platium, The Nickel and I must say that this original Cameron newport with the gun blue finish is the best of the lot. I waited all this time and finally bought one at the end of the season last year from an Auction for $72.50. And the only thing I can say is I should have coughed up The extra C-note long ago and my friends would be a little lighter in the wallet today....No gimmicks with this club .just put a smooth stroke on the ball and you are as close to heaven as you can get on a putting green. The first bird I had with this club was on a 464 P/4.My drive went wwwwide left. With 210 yds left , I ripped it from medium rough and dropped it 28 feet high of the pin at the top of the green. I sized up the putt and barely touched it. Center cut, Birdie 3. The class of the sport. Easily worth a try...at any price

This is very comparable to the Newport without the insert. I believe the insert makes it a tad more softer allowing even more feel. I guess that''s why Tiger started using it in the first place. This is an A-1 putter with oustanding balance and a true roll. It''s worth it if you like it....

Perfect balnce and super soft feel. I have tried the ProPlatinum, the new tri-metal, and the Ping Nickel, but nothing compares to my rusty Scotty. I can''t ever envision my bag without it. It makes putts for you.
