Model Reviewed: odyssey 2 ball putter

After years of the yips, 3 putts and missing many short putts, I decided to invest in the putter of the moment - odyssey 2 ball. I got to use it on the weekend and am now cured. I can now easily see the line to follow and am so much more confident within the 6 ft range. But wait, there's one more feature that you don't often hear about this putter. Due to the width of the putter head, the person making the putt (and the other players watching) can view the base line of the putter compared to the putting surface - they should be on the same parralel plane. If they are not, then the person making the putt needs to lower his hands and raise his wrists for a better putting technique. This was a flaw in my putting which I've now fixed. Now I can concentrate on improving other, more interesting parts of the game - like trying to smash 300 metre drives

I love this putter. Before I got it, my score for nine holes was a 45. Now I am shooting 40 for nine holes with it. People underestimate me because I am 11, but now I am proving them wrong with the oddessey white hot two ball.

Model Reviewed: Tour Edge V-Blade Irons

These irons are all about VALUE. Top drawer forged iron. Really solid - all through the set. 3,4,5 irons relatively easy to hit - they are all very precise. Good distance - very workable. I would recommend these irons to handicaps 12 or below. I was playing the Hogan Apex Edge and they are very easy to hit but no fun to play with because they do not feel like a forged iron - kind of klinky and rather large to look at. The V-blades are gorgeous ans extremely rewarding. They make you look forward to your next iron shot and they do make you want to practice in order to maximize their potential. I've played em' all and these are the best yet.

Customer Service

Very cooperative.

Model Reviewed: Odyssey 2Ball Putter

I finished playing my second round with this new putter and can only say, I never expected to save over 6 putts. My putting average went down (forget those 3putt holes!). The 2 balls allows a perfect alligment. As with any new club, you need to practice a couple of times before hitting the course.

The Odyssey White Hot 2-ball putter is the best thats happened to me. I went out for the golf team at age 13 when i was in 7th grade, i made it only because of my shortgame, because i knew i couldn't keep up with everyone off the tee. I was using a taylor-made putter then, but last fall while i was with the team my second year i got the 2-ball. This putter helped me even more ! Later on in the fall i noticed that unlike most putters it doesnt have a line down the middle of the face, so by adding one right down the middle of the 2 balls it took my game to a new level. Ive been consistantly draining 5-10 footers. If anyones shortgame needs improvement id recomend this putter to you for your sake.

For me this putter has been a revelation. The key is to have a relaxed stroke and release the putterhead. Recent article in one of mags. explains this technique. Ease of alignment makes relaxed stroke more achievable. Having fewer alignment thoughts allows focus on distance control. Liked my previous putter but never made so many putts and good rolls as do now. With proper stroke it's feels like I'm cheating on 8-10 footers. Don't get nervous over 3-4 footers anymore. I used to hate that putting was part of golf. Now feel confident of two putt and chance of one putt. Notwithstanding all this, if you can't eliminate tension and release head, this putter won't work -- will feel like ball won't go anywhere. With proper stroke it's phenomenal.

Bought his putter through an awards program through work, so I didn't care about the $179.00 price tag. Would I have bought it if I had to pay that much? No, I would have continued to play my $12.00 garage sale, 1979 version, Zebra Mallet. But do I like it, and did I take to it imediately? Absolutely! This putter is precise, solid, not to heavy, and deadly. I have had three putters in 20 years, a Ping Pal 2, the Zebra, and this bad boy. If you can get by the not so classic look of the putter, you will love this putter. Although it's not "pretty", it's well made. You'll feel good about the cost after using it. I've always used the lead edge for aiming so the two balls are kind of a second check on your aim. Fail safe!

This putter is great! I have had it for about three months, it took me about 2 months to get comfortable with it. The thing that really helped me was putting an alignment line on the top of the putter. I have noticed that a lot of pro's do this also. This putter is great it has really helped me with my putting. I am looking for another putter just for a back up. But that is just a personal preference.

this is a fantastic putter. but if the softer cover balls are your favorite dont buy the white hot maybe look into the dfx 2 ball or switch to a harder cover ball. hitting a 20 ft. putt with the revolution takes a great deal of force to get it to the hole almost a chipping type stroke. ive been putting in my livingroom as there is too much snow outside and my revolution goes nowhere where my nxt and stratas go the distace easily with the same stroke
