DFX 2-ball 34"
In one word - Excellent. I now stand over 3-4 foot putts with the confidence that I am not going to miss. 8-10 footers hold no fear either. The 34" model sets up so nicely and the weight is perfect, allowing a nice controlled stroke. I had a White Hot 2-ball a couple of years ago and the hype around the DFX is spot on. It's really good on the slower British greens, feels slightly firmer than the White Hot. Putting is now the best part of my game. I've given it a 5 for value based on the price of "other" putting brands on the market. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: White Hot 2-Ball, Taylor Made Rossa Indy, White Hot Mid. |

"Shoots in the 70's" now after getting this gem of a putter. I spent over an hour trying putters at the local store and did not want to try this putter since I thought it was over-priced. Eventually I tried it and couldn't believe how well it worked. Seems like you can't miss the 4 footers and 6 to 10 footers seem to drop most of the time. Customer Service No dealings with.... I have played lots ofputters throughout my years and I must say the 2 ball for me is the best investment towards lowering my handicap I have ever made. The feel in your hand and the alignment are very nice but really I like the deep center of grvity that makes my stroke much smoother and comfortable. The club gives me confidence which means, my technique, stroke, everything else doesn't matter when I visualize and am confident, I usually hole most of my putts (89%) within 7 ft. I am about 50% from within 15 ft. I love this club. Worth every penny. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Ive tried them all... |

My previous puuters over the last 20 years: Ping Anser and Odyessey Rossie II. Just a month ago, I purchased the new gunmetal (DFX model), 2 ball putter from Odysessy, and this is by far, the best putter ever made! Lots more feel than last year's model, great alignment, and a great new grip! 10 to 20 footers are struck with confidence, and with superior roll. I play all quality public fee courses with a very strict 4 some ($10 per hole and doubles on birdies!) and great putting means wins and $$$. My score has improved by 5 strokes. This is cheap investment! Similar Products Used: Ping and RossieII |

This putter is one of the best, if not the best, golf clubs I've ever had the pleasure to use. Observations and comments after four rounds: *This alignment system works, but you need to have your eyes directly over the putterhead to use it to full advantage. To do this, you may need to adjust your stance. *I agree with the comments of others that the most improvement is seen in putts in the 10-20 foot range. You'll have tap-ins for most of the putts you don't sink. *Having more confidence in your aim helps you focus more on distance control. You'll be able to spend more time than before gauging the length of your stroke and hitting the putter's sweet spot. *While the back-weighting does reduce skidding after the clubface strikes the ball, it does not seem to increase moment of inertia. (I can pull or push a putt just as easily as before.) Given the high price of clubs today, I think that this putter is a relatively good value. When drivers that are used 14 times per round cost $250-$500, $170 for a club that is used at least twice as often doesn't seem so bad. Odyessy 2 Ball Putter
Just finished my first round playing with the 2ball putter. I am very impressed with the results. By lining up with the 2 ball method, the ball goes where you aim it. Seems to work best with 3-10 ft. putts. For it to be accurate, must keep you head down so that you can see the alingment of the balls. Looking forward to future rounds. |
