GREAT irons. I am 6'2" i got fitted for these and they are +.5" long and 2*upright. I have the DG S-300 shaft. I hit a 6 iron about 185 on the fly. Driver swing speed is 113 MPH. I could have went with the X-100 but I did't have as much feel with that type shaft. If you have a decent swing then you can hit these irons. don't be scared because they are blades. I've only had these for about 3 weeks and only had the opportunity to play once with them, but it was a great experience. Nothing better than catching one of these in the sweet spot. After a few more rounds I will write a more comprehensive review.

Customer Service

Best I've ever had. I'm a lefty so finding a pro shop to get fit was difficult. Finally I went to Brampton Park Golf club in Huntingdon. They had a nice selection of lefty clubs and even ordered 3 additional drivers and an iron for me to try before making a decision. This is Titleist HQ for the UK and they rock. All this for 20 pounds.

I can't figure why there are not more reviews for this iron, because it(along with the similiar 695CB) is one of the best irons out there! My guess is it is because the price of these is noticeably more than main competitor Mizuno. However, if you try either of the two Titleists side by side against any Mizuno irons with the exception of the MP33(MP100)you will see that they are well worth the extra $150-200 bucks.

I’m a 9 handicap) I went from the MP37s to the MB695s and my ball striking has improved, my observation is that the thin sole makes it easier to pick the ball off the turf - also the standard lie of these clubs is 1.5 degrees more upright than the standard lie of 37's (MP37 6 iron 61 and 65MB 62.5), for me this was evident with the marks on the sole i.e. spread around the centre.

I had my local pro check the lie angle on the 695's when I got them and he found that there was as much as 1 degree variance from the standard lie - I called Titleist and they say they cannot guarantee that when the clubs reach you they will be as they were when produced. However your local pro will set them to where they need to be for around £15 a set and with forged clubs this should be done once a season, depending on how hard and how often you hit them.

The weight is further away from the hosel on the 695's - more towards the centre which considering that most players line up with the centre of the face, makes sense. The 695's have helped me to shape my shots from right to left - something I struggled to do with the MP37s.

Hitting these clubs makes you feel good and they also look fantastic in your bag!

If you strike a decent ball I would not necessarily be put off by the manufacturers handicap comments.

Well its been awhile since the last review so lets get it going. Titleist makes great clubs for all golfers. Every club is tour quailty no doubt. Not like Taylor Made and there two different models. Tp and none TP. Who wants to buy a lesser model when you know the best is used by the tour pros thats way to pricey. Well Titleist makes great clubs for the pros and for the everyday golfer. If you have any doubt stick with Titleist. I have had these 695MB for one full year and they are excellent irons. They have very little offset and set up very well to the ball. You need a little offset in the long irons to square up the face. Trust me. Im a scrath golfer and these clubs have helped me score alot more. Very clean cut and great looking iron. Mizuno does have the edge in softness but Titleist is a better iron. Mizuno irons seem to balloon in the air as these 695MB cut right through the wind and hold the green very well. The look of these irons are just awesome. Titleist knows how to make a very well made product. They consult the PGA tour before they put a club into product. So smart! This is the premiere company and you must give there clubs a try before you purchase your next clubs.

Happened across these almost by chance, as someone had traded in a set that were literally like new. I hit them in the simulator for a bit, and decided for the price, why not! I tell you it is the best move I ever made. I have played more sets of irons than I would care to mention right now...but grew up playing blades. I eventually went to cavity backs but have never really been thrilled with their performance and certainly not their feel.

The 695MB is a tad "harsher" than a Mizuno blade in terms of feel, but nothing that is so noticable that it would drive you away. One thing I did notice about these is that they do launch higher than I have experienced in the past playing blades, but not a balloon launch...just higher. I traded a set of Ping S58's in on these and thought for sure that since these are nearly 2* weaker in loft, that I would lose some distance. I was surprised to find out I actually picked up about a half clubs worth of distance. That might be due to the difference in the ZZ ping shaft and now being in Dynamic Golds. Accuracy is EXCELLENT as is the ability to work the ball with little effort.

These are certainly easier to hit than the blades I grew up with, but don't kid yourself here. If you don't make consistent middle of the face contact, these will punish you for a poor swing or bad contact. In that respect my game has improved as I know if I don't focus completely and put a good swing on these, I am going to pay for it.

I am very happy with these, and don't plan on replacing them anytime soon!

Customer Service

I have never had to deal with Titleist customer service outside of ordering a 907D2 driver. I requested a club that would have to be built, and I was in the golf shop where I had ordered, and the Titleist rep was there. When I asked about the status of my order, he actually called and tracked down where the club was, when it would be done, and offered to let me have a different driver in the interim until mine arrived. He also gave me a dozen of the new ProV1x balls. Definitely made a nice impression!

I just got these clubs last summer, i use to have wilson deep red irons thos irons were good but i wanted to start shooting better and be able to control the ball better. So i looked in to the 695mb, at first i was scared of those irons but i worked with them and i saw my game improve like none other. Two weeks after i worked with the iron i started to shoot under par every time, my handicap was a 5 to a 6, but now it is amazing i am around a scratch golfer. If you want some of the best clubs on the market i would suggest going with 695mb, at first u might be scared of them but keep working with them and u will be very pleased with the change i promise

I was in the market for a new set of Irons. I had been playing 6 months with a set of MP30 and got sick of looseing the ball high and gone is the distance. So i tryed the 735.CM, and put the project 6.0's in them. Same shaft as the MP30 but the ball flight was lower and more controlable. I used these for 67 months and got to 4 Handicap. The Pro talked me into trying 695MB at a titleist demo day. From the first strike they were not to back, bit hooky but solid feel. I then went and got club fitted by the titleist rep and club pro. Both were very happy to help, i was there for about 1 hour. After all been done the verdict was as the same as the clubs before, but .25inchs longer. So they came 4 weeks later with project X 6.0 and .75 inchs longer, 2 papers and two tone colour grips(golf pride). I have been using them for 3 months now and have enjoyed the very much I get my 8 iron to 144m and 4 iron to 193m. I did after 6 weeks replace the 2 iron with and 695CB and iam 100% happy now. I now play off 1.3 Handicap and believe single figure or strong ball strikers will love playing the 695MB range and 695CB in long irons.

Customer Service

i got these clubs from a Pro in Newcastle and he has been 100% perfect to me full custom fitting and product arrived on time perfect

I'm down to 10 handicap with an objective to become a scratch golfer this year. That said, I've tested numerous blade and cavity back irons from leading mfgrs - Mizuno, Titleist, Nike, Srixon and Bridgestone. Until I picked up the Titleist 695MB, I've favored Mizuno's MP67 w/Exsar IS2 Tour graphite shaft. Between the two, the Titleist 695MB offers my swing and ball-striking the finest package, with just about as much buttery feeling as Mizuno's.

When hit on the screws or even slightly off-center, the 695MB provides positive and buttery feedback; nothing harsh about this iron unless you hit way off-center. I've purchased the 695MB with Titleist's low torque 3970 graphite shaft, which is a little lighter than Mizuno's Exsar IS2 Tour graphite shaft.

I've compared the 695MB to their cavity-back sister club - 695CB. By far, it's worth the modest extra practive to develop superior ball-striking skills required by the 695MB versus the 695MB.

In short, I wholeheartedly recommend 695MB for the "better golfer" (10 handicap and lower). For the up-and-coming golfer seeking game improvement irons, complete with shovel-like heads and huge offset, look elsewhere. Blades look cool and can be foregiving when you've mastered ball-striking.

Customer Service

I routinely purchase my clubs through Golf Etc., Tampa, FL, and, thus, have no direct eperience with Titleist's customer service personnel.

I have played many styles of blade irons, with some being slight cavity back. I demo'd both the 695MB and CB's. I personally hit the MB's better and actually think they are easier to hit than the CB's. Great set of clubs and even a little forgiving for a blade.

9.9/10. Amazing club! If your having any doubts weather to buy these irons, DONT. Perfection at the highest level. When you hit these out of the sweet spot its better than sex!

I used to own the 690 MB's...although pretty much the same, theres just something different about these new 695's. Maybe its the feel or the control.
