Small head makes you feel like you have a players club, but you cannot work the ball. This club is good for a person who wants high straight shots only. I gave them up and went back to the Tommy Armour 845s. Similar Products Used: 845s, ISI, 962, Black Cats, OS+ |

Received my custom ordered set (3 thru sand) from Titleist 6 weeks ago and right out of the box I have played my best rounds ever. Control of distance and placement have been fantastic. Definitely has been the right choice for my game. Similar Products Used: None |

Wonderful, buttery feel when you slice through the ball. I tried tons of sets in the ""Less than $700"" range and I thought this set felt the smoothest and most forgiving. I did notice that I lost a few yards with this set, but the control more than made up for it. I have a special edition 981 set with less offset than the normal 981 and a lot less offset than the 981sl. These clubs are the best. I used to hit callways but barrowed my friend's 981's for a round and went out and bought some that day. they spin the ball like none other. I admit, they are a little unfogiving but above average. I used to dread taking out long Irons, now I don't hesitate at all, they are great, I would strongly recomend thses clubs.
