An awesome set of clubs. If you want a set of clubs that will last you a long time, these are the clubs for you. they are slightly smaller than the 962's but in my opinon, these clubs are far superior in terms of workablity, distance and overall feel. The weight shelf behind the sweetspot is a big difference, and these irons are snipers in terms of accuracy. For all those previous posts stating that these clubs are cold and hard, all I can say is work on your game. When these clubs are hit on the sweet spot, they feel nice and solid and rank right up there with any cast iron, and without a doubt are more softer and responsive than my old ping eye 2 black dots. They are however not very forgiving, but like Titleist says these clubs are "serious clubs for serious players" If you are looking for a set of clubs that are great to hit and easy to work the ball with, these are the clubs for you. If you are looking for a set of responsive and forgiving clubs or if you are an infrequent golfer, go with the 962's or the 981s. Similar Products Used: Ping Eye 2, MP-33, 962, 990 |

I think these are the best sticks titleist has to offer to the public at present. They win over the 990's because of feel and feedback. If you are a good ball striker, you will appreciate the 962Bs. Similar Products Used: almost all irons |

Slick!! Not offset, not oversized..a very traditional set of sticks. Clubs are very playable, can work the ball. Designed for low handicapers. By far the best set of clubs I have owned. If you want to try a bunch of clubs, do so before you try the 962b, because once you do, everthing else will be just that! Personally I think the 962B are one of the most impressive clubs out there even after 3+ years on the market. If a player is looking for a club that has incredible solid feel i would recommend this club. Although I was a bit sceptical about purchasing these clubs after being told they were only for the elite. To my suprise I gained 10 to 15 yards and had so much more control over the ball. The short irons are fantastic and give me the confidense to fire at any pin. All the irons have a beautiful lead egdge that is slightly bevled to produce a superb club. I would say that good club head speed is essential to get that solid feel from each and every shot. The only down fall I think is that Titleist didn't design a gap wedge or a sand wedge but instead relied on their Vokey wedges. I haven't hit the 990's yet but from looking at them they have fallen in style and finesse. Oh well I guess Titleist can't win them all. One of the best looking set I've laid eyes on! What I like best is the slight off-set design. Feels almost like a forged set but isn't. Although I didn't lose much distance, it isn't as forgiving as other blade like sets I've tried. Homerun for Titlesit fans! I own these, and that is for one reason. They are very solid clubs. Their appearance and performance is unmatched. I would definitely recommend them if you can still find them. Customer Service I used to work in a golf shop. They are one of the best company's to deal with. Similar Products Used: Pretty much everything. When I first got these clubs I had a 25 handicap and thought they would be to hard to hit but for 100 bucks I had to get them and my handicap is 18 and is still greatly improving. I am now starting to aim at pins because my confidence has grown so much. Great clubs recommend them to anyone. Customer Service none Similar Products Used: Big Bertha Hawkeyes and King Cobras |
