Not the most forgiving club to hit. However, this club has allowed me to concentrate better at hitting through the sweet spot. I disagree with people who thinks that this club is for low handicappers only. Once you get used to hitting this club you may not want to hit another club. I can shape my shots now, something I could not do well with mu old 845s. The 762s are a good replacement but who''s got the money.

I found these irons very workable when playing both a draw and a fade and are very rewarding for a smooth strike but i found that slightly miss hit shots gets punished by a slight distance loss. These irons wouldn''t really suit a high handicapper and were definately designed for a category 1 player. Overall good irons but not the best in the Titleist series.

The irons i play are very similar to these i swear by the earlier 962 model they are much more rewarding and very easy to use, defiantely handy for those customized shots.

I have always wanted to own a set of Titleist irons so I put out a bid on ebay for these set without paying attention that these are 962"B"s instead of the more offset 962''s. To my surprise, I like the setup of the club with less offset. I seem to line up with the target faster. These clubs are not the most forgiving club in the market. However, shots that were hit in the sweet spot are like that "sweet". It gives you a remarkable feedback when you hit it good or if you mis hit the ball. Well hit shots goes a little bit farther than my 845''s, however, mis hit shots are severely penalized terms of yardage. I only have these clubs for a few weeks and I''m beginning to like them a lot now that I am hitting them better. These clubs forces me to concentrate better on hitting the ball. These clubs, definitely, are staying in my bag until I could afford to buy the 762''s.

I have always liked the models that come from Titleist. Before the 962B I used the DCI black ond DCI 962, both these clubs are great but I was looking for more blade like type of irons. The thing I like about the clubs are the nice "boxer blade" look and the feel you get when you hold them. When I first got them I had a hcp of 7 now I have 1 and really pleased that choose the 962B.

These irons are great. Slightly cavity means they are workable and forgiving. Yes, they don''t go far on miss hits but anyone with a decent swing will benfit. They also feel great. The best clubs though are Titleist forged muscle backs that Titleist used to make about 10 yrs ago - they were incredible. I wonder if their like the promotypes that the pros are playing now.

SOLID!!!! Ping eye 2''s is what I used to play and then I got tired of hitting shovels with no feedback. I purchased the 962b''s and I love them. All of the luxuries of a forged in a cast iron. I play them with 6.0 rifle shafts, which are awesome as well. My scores would be in the high 80''s with pings, the other day I was 2 over on the back with the 962''s. Their feel is awesome, the head is compact and aspires a good swing. They''ll definately let you know when you are swinging like crap. The look of the 962b''s is so much better than anything else, very nice classic look. If you play those huge shovel clubs do not be afraid to buy these, I was and then I just said screw it and I have not looked back. If you know of someone that has some and wants to get rid of them drop me a line. Keep in the shortgrass my friends.

Being the 14 hc club junkie that I am, I decided to try these clubs because of the Titleist name. Much to my surprise these clubs, which by the way were fitted with the tour flighted rifle shafts, were very easy to control, and shape shots. Very good spin, and the trajectory is excellent. My only knock on these clubs is that my length was shortened by almosst a club. You must be a good ball striker, to get the most out of these clubs. I would recommend these clubs to those seeking control and spin were distance is not a premium when you don't hit the ball sweet.

Wow!! I recently got these clubs as a gift from my wife for christmas, and I am now going to retire my Taylor Made Tours. I got to use these clubs on a recent trip to Florida, and these clubs are a dream to hit. I first hit these clubs off of mats, then the grass, and the clubs were fine either way. These clubs are very well weighted, and asthetically they have a nice clean timeless look. In terms of performance, these clubs are easy to shape shots with, and are very accurate. They are more of a blade than anything else, but these clubs are cast. In my opinion, these are the best cast irons available right now on the market. No wonder pros such as David Duval and Davis Love used or uses these clubs.
