I sold my Titleist oversize + black after hitting these clubs at the range. They take getting used to because the sweet spot is smaller, so you must be a fairly good or better ball striker to get the full benefit from the club. Trajectory is great for me throughout the set from the 3 iron down to the 9. They are not forgiving though so beware! Overall, a GREAT feel when you strike the ball. Really sweet stix. Thin topline and hardly any offset, I spin the short irons easily if I need to, and get 5 yards greater distance in my long irons. Accuracy depends on ME! The club responds to CORRECT CONTACT favorably...INCORRECT unfavorably.

Customer Service

They gave me all the spec's of the set I bought, offered any other help also. I even got my head cover for my pro platinum putter replaced.

I find these clubs really to shape and control the ball. In the long irons there is good distance in the medium irons there is good control and workability and in the short irons there is alot of control and spin.

I just own this amazing club .. Try Mizuno blade but I want more forgiving Try Callaway Ú But I think It's a hook machine I try many model of Titleist like 962,Oversize,981,990 and I really like them ..
I choose this one because I like the way its look.Very Hard Feel In the Clean Shot but It's so strange and easy to hit I can Hit the 210 yards consistency with this sticks ... go on Titleist

I used to play with 845's and I wanted to take the next step and learn to play with a club that was less forgiving. I have always hit my long irons well and so adjusted to the change with no problems at all. I found the short irons to be sensational as my approaches have been far more accurate and my first round with them I broke par after holing only 2 putts. I would recommend to any player who has a good solid swing and wants to own one of the "best looking" irons around.

First of all... I don't play golf much but my dad is a golf LOON! He went to work at a club not to long ago and they gave him clubs so he had to get rid of his old ones. He gave them to me for my 15th birthday and I almost feel like I'm cheating every time I play. These clubs are 'SO' sweet! I hope I'm not spamming but Ya'll should know how much I like these clubs. They are a little out of my price range cuz I don't play that much, but if you are looking for a good set of irons. These are worth looking into!(Especially if you can find them used)

I had these in the bag for about a year when I discovered Mizuno MP-14's. The 962 is a nice looking iron but is to heavy and not a very forgiving club. Gave to my brother who loves them.
People who are told that blades are hard to hit by a pro like I was, don't beleive them.

I BOUGHT THE 962"s ONE WEEK AGO. I TOOK THEM TO THE RANGE TO PRACTICE, EVRY SHOT FELT LIKE A ROCK. I SHANKED NEARLY ALL THE SHOTS THE FIRST AND SECOND DAY. ON THE 4th DAY OF OWNING THEM I TOOK THEM TO THE RANGE 45 MINUTES BEFORE MY TEE TIME I FOUND THE SHANK WAS CAUSED BY GRIPPING THE CLUBS IN THE SAME MANNER AS MY TAYLOR MADE LCG IRONS. WHEN I TRIED SHORTENING MY GRIP BY ONE INCH I HIT EVERY SHOT SWEET AND HAD ZERO SHANKS AND THE SHOTS NO LONGER FELT LIKE ROCKS. I HAVE PLAYED TWO ROUNDS WITH THEM IN THE WEEK THAT I HAVE OWNED THEM AND BOTH ROUNDS WERE FOUR STROKES LESS THAN MY USUAL ROUND ( EVEN THOUGH MY PUTTING AVERAGE WAS UP BY FIVE PUTTS EACH ROUND. THIS MEANS THAT MY APPROACH SHOTS WERE ON TARGET AND ON OR NEAR THE GREENS. I LOVE THESE CLUBS AND THE SOLE PURPOSE OF OWNING THEM IS TO IMPROVE MY SWING ABILITY. I HIT THESE JUST AS FAR AS MY LCG IRONS AND NOW ENJOY KNOWING WHERE THE BALL WILL GO. I NOW HIT ON LINE AT THE PIN OR I MISS TO THE LEFT BY 10 TO 30 FEET CAUSE BY COMING OVER THE TOP AND PULLING MY SHOTS. I USED TO HIT MY LCG IRONS HIGH BUT THESE HIT EVEN HIGHER AND STILL AVERAGE 165 WITH MY 8IRON AND APPROPIATE YARDAGES WITH THE OTHER IRONS.

these are the best irons i have ever hit. the ball flight was high but very strong boring through the wind. the only bad thing is the sand wedge that flew to high and lacked distance. the ball can be worked both ways easily. for the better player

I love these irons. I had Maxfli VHL's before. I hit these much better. The trajectory is unbelievable. I hit the ball about the same distance as the Maxfli's but the 8 iron has the trajectory of the PW on the old set. The short irons are really good. The long irons are ok. They are not very forgiving, but really workable and like I said I love them!
