Wow! What a fantastic set of Irons. I've been golfing the old DCI golds, regular flex for the last ten years or so and decided it was time to try a new set of sticks. I wanted a change, and thought my game had progressed enough to get the Titleist 690 CB's, stiff. I was wrong. I then tried the Nike pro combo's......nice looking club but, they're just not for me. Plus, they're about a club short from what I was used to hitting. So I decided to try the 822 OS. I've never hit a better club in my 20+ years of play. I recommend these sticks for any level of player because of the forgiveness. I occasionally hit shots out on the toe and even those feel great and fly far with these clubs. An all around solid set of clubs. They may not be the best looking set of sticks on the market but man will these babies play. Best of luck on your club hunt, I hope this helps.

I read the 33 reviews previous to mine and was dumbfounded by the 2 that really mashed this set. Obviously these 2 people think they are excellent golfers. A third review was kind of middle of the road and sounded as if he was a golfer who understood what he needed. In any case, 3 of the 33 reviews were not good bringing the clubs down to 4.67. These are great clubs, they are longer than my I3 OS, just as accurate and slightly more forgiving. I was lucky to find exactly what I needed on the internet (Length & Lie). These are great clubs. As with any club if they don't fit properly you will be unhappy.

I havn't dealt with Titleist recently but know them to be very reliable.

If you simiply want a good set of irons that can be hit easily, buy these. I haven't played a full round with them yet, but I'm almost sure these clubs will allow me to shoot in the 90's. They're excellent clubs. Don't bother listening to Dan: you'll be really lucky to have the same opinion if you try these clubs.

Don't know how the guy below, who shoots in the 90's can complain about a club that makes it very easy too hit the ball. He obviously has no clue about equipment and must be a hack. Getting back to the review, I have had DCI's in the past and felt they had a very hard, no feel appeal. These new 822 OS sure changed that feeling. Certainly the best feeling Titleist iron I have ever tried. Misses tend to be a little right but I have only played 5 rounds with them in 2002. Looking forward to 2003. I have not heard any complaints about sticker falling off but I am sure Titleist will take care of any such problem. My advice is if it can help a 4 handicapper why the hell not give these sticks a try if you play golf. My distance has increased slightly and the ball does fly straighter. I can't wait to play this year and really give them a chance to perform. Love the look and the slightly OS irons give you tons of confidence lining up shots. I have the stock steel stiff shaft and standard lie set, so lets roll in 2003.

This is set is just all hype. The set is for paople who really don't know anything on how to properly swing a club. The bounce is so large that you don't have to hit the ball, just the ground and the club will bounce into it. Lets' be for real. If you want to really improve your swing and lower your scores, you have to learn how to properly hit the ball. My recommendation is to get irons that don't hide the fact you hit them fat and learn to hit the ball first and then your divot. o' and the price, way to much for irons where the perimiter sticker will come off. Good luck with your swing when you try a real club!!

The clubs are the best youll ever find on this highly priced market. I am only 12 so my budjet is not that high but I found these in almost perfect condition and at an affordable price. These cubs are so exact and precise. They have slightly less offset than most game inprovment irons, like the new big berthas and MX20's which may take a little getting used to. These clubs offer exellant distance i could swear I put twenty yards on almost every shot. The forgivness on these clubs is extremely good and very few shots dont go straight.

I must honestly say that I am a really lousy player, but these sticks felt like magic when I hit them for the first time. 90% straight down the line -> 50% of those were "sweet", 40% "survivable" and 10% "ugly". The NS Pro 950 shafts were perfect weight... I can't stand graphite coz it's too light and traditional steel is too heavy. Let me give these guys a good workout and report back.

I'am a begineer golfer who start playing the game in university. Before this,i'am using my father's used callaway set and managed to hang on with it because of it's forgiveness. After my graduation,my father decided to buy ME a new golf SET as a present and i am to decide which club i prefer. So, i went to the Titleist agent/retail shop in town. Having heard titleist 822 os from a friend,I decided to try it along cleveland T 7 tour,Taylor Made 360 series and Callaway Big Bertha iron.I decided to buy 822 OS due to it's forgiveness and shot consistency.aFTER playing it for two round ,for the last round i managed to 90, the first time i managed to break 100 territory!!!!!The best thing I promised my father to buy his new set as birthday present and Titleist 822 0S included in his list.-the first list.It is the best club i ever played due it solid feel and shot consistency which i never get in my my old Callaway set.

I played these irons all 2002 season and enjoyed my best year and scored in the 70's three times more than I had in any previous year. I attribute some of my improvement to purchasing these irons early in the season. These are some of the most forgiving irons developed in 2002 and they hit the ball straight as Titleist indicated they would do. I purchased my set with the Dynamic Gold S300 shaft and it helped me keep the trajectory a little lower as I play on a windy golf course. Distance control is good and hitting out of the rough is not a big problem even with the slightly larger head design. Overall, I found these irons to be good throughout the set, with consistant, predictable distance from the 3 through the pitching wedge. I am a bit of an equipment junky and I hit a few other irons this season but kept coming back to these as they set up very well for me. I have seen them on ebay used for less than $400 now. A very good buy for a very solid golf club.

By far the best set of irons I have ever played. I custom build clubs with Golfsmith components, so I have the ability to play with technology at a nominal expense. These clubs are easy to it and I've regained the distance I lost with my last custom set. They feel solid at impact and very forgiving.

Customer Service

Fortunately, I have not had to use them.
