Having used blades for years I decided to try cavity backs and found the 762 to be very forgiving but with great feel. They did strike the ball very well. Here comes the BUT. The short irons have very strong lofts and for me the distance you get with these short irons is too much and in my view titleist have made a mistake in producing such strong lofts that the better player will leave these well alone. I'm sure theres alot of players that will like this but not for me! I'm going back to my blades. Customer Service o.k Similar Products Used: mizuno mp33. pro II. |

I am looking for a new set of clubs, I have a hcp 5.9 and am currently playing Maruman blades. Because I am not playing a lot I am lokking for more forgiving clubs than my blades. Tested several new clubs, TM 300, Mizuno T-zoid, Ping I3 blades, Cleveland TA-7, Titleist 822 OS and the 762. Actually trhe choice is down to three, the 972, TA-7 or the Ping I3. Tested all these clubs and found the pings very easy to hit with a nice soft feel at impact. The 972's where a bit harder to hit but gave a much better feel when struck correctly. The Clevelands TA-7 can be described as best of both worlds. The problem with the 972 was the inconsisentcy of the distance between a good struck shot and an offcentre hit. (almost like playing blades) The pings didn't have this inconsistency in distance but the good shots didn't travel any further than the offcentre hits with the 972. Would I like about the 972 is the way the setup behind the ball, if you drop the club on the ground with its head its automatically set up straight, the pings are closed when you perform the same exercise. But finally I've decided to go with the new clevelands TA-7 because the fly just as far as the 972 when you strike a good ball. the setup perfectly straight, offcentre hits still carry a long way, and the feel at impact is even softer than hitting the Ping I3 blades. Customer Service Not used yet, but I understood it takes up to three months when you order these TA-7 clubs custom build in Europe Similar Products Used: Titleist 972, Ping I3 Blades, TM300, Mizuno T-zoid, Wilson deep red irons |

Had them for three weeks now and i am well chuffed !!, they are great. Softer feel than my previous set with better consistency and tragectory. It feels like i have played them for years already....make sure you try them before you buy anything else. I tried the TM320's, MX20's maxfli A10's and X14's before i finished with the 762's.. Customer Service super !!!. i spent over two hours with the staff trying over 8 different make / models using 3,6 and PW to make sure i had the right ones (and then another 2 hours for fitting) and i even got a free c Similar Products Used: Cobra gravity backs (close ??) |

I absolutely LOVE these clubs. They've helped imporoe my game, and have a stunning feel to them when you pure the ball. More forgiving than true Muscleback forged Irons, but with little to 0 offset, these are the perfect clubs for someone who shoots in the mid-low 80's. They'e improved my confidence and distance on the course, and have raised my game to the next level. A little bit of practice also helps, but these clubs say alot! They have the look of a traditional blade, and the feel of an oversized. Thanks Titleist! Customer Service Descent. Similar Products Used: Ping Blade. |

Wow, what a surprise. Let me start by saying that I have NEVER been a fan of Titleist irons. Never have played a set that I wanted to own. Have been playing forgegd cavity backs, but while I absolutely love the feel that a well struck ball gives, I also hate the huge distance loss with a shot that misses the sweetspot by fractions of an inch. I just was sick of the heavy penalty for being a mid handicapper. Hit these Titleists after speaking with a club pro and a clubmaker who both agreed that Titleist is stretching it by claiming that these are geared towards better ballstrikers. While they will work fine for those players, these really are a game improvement club also. They have the cavity, juiced lofts and thin face of a game improvement iron, with the miniscule offset, traditional size and setup of a players club. All of which fit my game and requirements to a tee. Tried lots of clubs, wanted to like the Mizuno MX-20, thought that might give the feel of forged with some forgiveness, but wasn't to be. Too big and clunky for my tastes. I think these have a great feel when nutted, and don't kill you like forged when you miss. Really, anyone from a single to a 18 could find that these work for them, great sticks! While looking for my next set of irons I came down to final two, this and Mizuno MX-20. Though I decided to go with the MX-20s because of softer feel and a bit more feedback (they should be as being forged), I was very impressed with the 762s. They were so consistant, every hit (missed or not)went straight with great distance control. |

I had tried every club in the shop, no joke actually every iron in the shop. Then they got this new iron in, and i thought id give it a go. even tho i play of scratch and hit the ball miles, with these i now hit the ball miles, and then some more, these clubs have perfect trajectory, a 2 iron is a must for any single figure golfer, and this 2 iron is the best.
