Well, what can I say, I have finally found THE set of irons... I looked into these after AA lost my clubs including my Callaway X-16 Pro Series... These irons are soft as butter, easy to work, and surprisingly long... The weakened loft on these irons does not translate into lost distance... I am hitting these irons as long if not longer than my previous set of X-16 Pro Series... These irons provide a lot of confidence at address and are more forgiving than I could have imagined... These irons do provide great feedback and there is no sweeter feeling than putting a solid stroke on the ball... Also, these irons are just beauties, I can't stop looking at them... Customer Service I special order these irons from Titleist with mid-size grips and I received standard grips... The store made it all good by placing mid-size "Softies" on my new irons... Great set of irons. With NS 950 steel shafts a perfect fit. For those who prefer lighter clubs, suggest the NS Pro shafts. Great feel. A big improvement from the old CBs, nevertheless Titleist has the quality in bringing clubs. So easy to control shots. The 3 iron is so easy to hit. Mind you the loft is high. Its much better club than the NIKE combos. Those who have Nike is advise to change to this clubs. A game improvement club but for serious & better golfers. Customer Service Good. got my clubs custom fitted with NS pro shafts with no additional charge. OMG, that's really all I can say. Some may say it but, if it's been produced, I have probably owned or demo'd it and I can honestly say this is the absolute BEST set of sticks I have ever had the good fortune of wielding. From the very first shot on....Please read my review of the Nike Pro Combo's because even though I may not speak for everyone, I am a solid stick and feel I am a pretty good judge. I started on my mission to find a set to replace my MP29's. I was looking for something that would be slightly less punishing on the slight mis hits. I have finally found the irons to finish my perfect (for me) set. yes, I know i'm babbling.....but i'm just so excited. I just had to write and let you know about the new Titleist 690.CB's. They are awesome. Trust me, I have owned or played almost every club made. I love the feel of forged irons. I am a 9 handicap and I'm simply not good enough to play Mizuno's (with any consistency) and even the Nike Pro Combo's (which are very easy to hit and quite forgiving) I found that it you slightly miss the sweetspot, you lose drastic yardage. The new Titleist 690.CB's are a dream come true. They are 1 club longer and feel like butter. I bought them with the Dymamic Gold Dynalite shaft which is 14 grams lighter than the Dynamic Gold S-300. The new variable weighting system makes the 3-iron as easy to hit as the 5-iron. They are much more playable than last years model. Yes, they are pricey but, if you love golf and want the best money can buy, you owe it to yourself to try these. Bottom line...These clubs instill confidence. Beautiful to look at and even better to play. Very forgiving but in a more consistent way than my Callaways. Better Feel and I'm about 1 club longer. Finally, I feel like I can work a shot with much more control than my previous irons. Great Club. Customer Service n/a Similar Products Used: callaway x14 pro series, mizuno mp33, titleist 690mb |

I have try during 1 month the 681. They are very solid and I liked them very much. But under my pro advise, I buy the 690CB's. I am very happy to hear him! They are very well to play and I'm very confident before hitting. And they are beautiful!!! I have work a lot with my pro these last 3 month and now with theses Irons, I'm hitting the ball very well. I had 12 hcp one month before, and now 8. I had my first round under 80 in an official competition with only pro's and best amators. I'm very happy why our course is very difficult but now I can make more birdies than ever! It's the result of lessons, of course!, but also from these amazing Irons! Only one problem with the prize, but the swiss seller for titleist make them a little bit expensive... I agree with ganyan below. These are absolutely outstanding forged clubs. The best I have used bar none. That includes Mizuno MP-30's, KZG CBII's, Hogan Edge Pros, various component forgings, etc. These 690 CB's provide the best smooth forged feel I have experienced, pin-point accuracy, consistent better than average distanances throughout the set. What more could you ask for? I have DG S300 shafts which work very well for me. I'm sure the Rifle Flighted shafts are great too. I have tried so many irons the past three years trying to find the "best" set for me. My search is over. I love these beauties! Customer Service Haven't needed them Similar Products Used: Hogan Edge Pros, MP-30's, KZG II's, Golfsmith forged, and more |

I dont know what they guy is talking about that says these clubs dont feel solid. Maybe because they are soft and forged. I hit the ball about a club further with these irons than my other sets. (762s, Ping I3s, KZG II, Hogan Apex Plus). The feel is wonderfull and feedback is superb. This is also the most accurate set I have. Expensive but worth every penny if you are really trying to score. Some people say that it doesnt matter that an iron hits the ball further but I think it doesn because a 7 iron is easier to hit than a 5 iron. I am an 80s player but I have been playing in the 70s since these irons. Similar Products Used: Titleist 762, Ping i3, Hogan Apex Plus, KZG Forged II, Taylor Made LT |

WOW! These clubs give forged a bad name. I've played with these clubs for a year now. My good shot travel a long ways but never seem to feel solid. Other players have felt the same when hitting the irons. If your looking for a true forged blade that doesnt feel like a baseball bat when hit, go for the titleist 680, titleist tour model, or the mizuno mp-33 or 30.
