Shoot in the 90s

I was pretty much set to by a set of x-14s when the salesperson offered me to try this iron. It felt more solid on contact than the x-14 and the ping i-3. I played friday and they are long, high and straight! I got the R-80 steel shafts. I also saved some money.

I bought these clubs today, after demoing just about all other irons in the shop. Tried 'em out on the range, hit some crazy shot, 190 yard 7 irons, 160 yard pws, well past 200 with the 5. The power of this club is like nothing I've ever seen before, and this is really good for me cuz I hit straighter with a 3/4 swing. Pretty expensive with the bubble shaft, but I want the extra distance. Go get 'em!

I've played these clubs 5 times, although not completely familiar with them yet, they hit very nicely, without a doubt far better than the BB Callaways I had. They are forgiving, straight, have an appealing address and should drop your score by a couple of points in no time. Like any clubs, you have to get used to them but their consistency inspires confidence and confidence is key to better golf. I rate these clubs at 5 stars.

Shoot in the 90s

I was set to buy the new Callaway x-14s or the Ping I3s but the sales person had me try the Supersteels. The x14s and Supersteels were very close in performance, I didn't like the feel of the I3s and they were somewhat shorter. I wound up choosing the Supersteels because of value, they were $150 cheaper than the x14s and there were many more shaft and grip options available. I got my set with the sensicore gold shaft and Tour Cord grips.

Played 1st round with new set (R-80 rifle shafts) and broke 90 (86) for the first time. Forgiving, easy to hit, good feel, long. Looks much better than the callaways or my 2 year old pings. Not easy to work (draw - fade etc.) but trajectory and soft landings help attack tight pins (as if golfers who shoot 90's should attack pins!!!) Best feature of all is the confidence that I can hit that shot!!!
