Have had the clubs for a year now and glad I bought them. Broke my record lows at 4 diffent courses last year including an 82. One thing that helped was going to a stiff flex but these irons have brought more confidence than I had before. Got me looking at my drivers and putter now. I''m sure you could get some now cheap. Good club for the average golfer. Recommend!

great irons. I bought them when I first broke 90 two years ago. now I shoot in the 70''s and the irons have grown with me. Shots to really fly off clubhead with great accurdacy and feel. They hit a higher trajectory but with absolutely no loss in distance. I actually hit them farther than others I tested. Easy to fly them out of rough but thats just the design of the club. They land very soft on greens. I am finally looking to move up to the 300 series but after reading about the 320 and 200 series being so playable, i have a hard decision.

I owned these irons for 2 years. When I bought them, they were perfect for my level of play. I quickly found out, though, that the LCG''s are game improvement irons that don''t improve your game. In other words, they have a large sweet spot and your shots will go in the direction you are pointing, but they mask the feel of how pure you hit the ball and where you hit the ball. Therefore, it is difficult to make subtle adjustments to keep your iron play developing and moving forward. I recently moved to the Ping I/3 Blades and love them, they also are a more forgiving club but provide greater feedback as to how you are striking the ball. If you don''t want to make the financial investment for Ping I/3''s, I also own an older set of Hogan Apex irons that are wonderful on the course and provide immediate feedback, got the 2-E (2-PW) for under $100. If you are looking for irons that are easy to play and will help you get around a little easier without a lot of practice time, then these are definitely worthy of consideration. I had the matching gap, sand and lob wedges and would recommend those to round off the set. If you want to put in some sweat equity in your golf game, you might look elsewhere.

Customer Service

Very friendly and responsive!

I bought these sticks second-hand nearly 2 years ago and by now must have played around 150 rounds with them. I''ve got the S90 stiff bubble shafts and they perform great. The club heads look classy and give a lot of confidence standing over the ball at address. I like these clubs, for the first time I feel like I can pull the long irons out of the bag and not have to worry about losing the ball with an unintentional fade. Hit the ball sweet and the feel in the hands is beautiful, maybe not in the league of a forged club but very nice just the same. If I have a complaint about this club it is in the feel of a slightly miss hit shot, especially thinned shots. It can feel almost ''boardy'', a wierd way to describe it but anyone who has hit these clubs will know what I mean. The pleasant thing though is that they are very forgiving on miss hits and even though the feel might not be that great the results usually are better than I deserve. I''d recommend these clubs to any mid to high handicapper that wants to move up to a quality set of irons. And perhaps the best thing about them is that they are a bargain on the second hand market.

n/a as I bought them second hand.

WOW!!!! I have been in the market for new irons for about a year, I hit my buddies LCG while we were on vacation, they blew my Ping Eye 2s away!! I got home and saw a add for these clubs brand new for 299.00, I could not believe it I traded my Pings in for 250.00 and they were 12 years old. It took me about 5 rounds the dial in the yardage because these iron are much longer, I am hitting my 9 135 to 140, my wedge up to 125 all high and soft landing, there is no way I could hit my Ping wedge more than 110! I am very happy with these irons, and at this price they are a steal!! My god they were over 600 bucks 2 years ago!!

These are by far the best irons Taylor has made. I hit these and the Ping I3, these were more solid, and 400 bucks cheaper!

These Clubs are the best you can buy. I've been golfing for 10+ years and I'm only 18 right now. My first year of High School golf I was shooting in the 110's, then I went out and bought another set of clubs and they took me down to the 90's. Finally I decided to buy a name brand set and was about to buy Tommy Armours but I decided to go with the Taylor Mades. In the past two years I went from 90's to 76 - 83 on a par 74 course. Boy did they make a tremendous difference in my game. My brother has a set of Tommy Armours and I tried them a couple of times and can barely break 90 with them. Go with the Taylor Mades if you ever have to make a decision.
