TaylorMade 320 Irons

TaylorMade 320 Irons

DESCRIPTION

From TaylorMade: "The 320 Iron comes with a moderate topline and slight offset - carrying a traditional, yet confident look at address. Each club is optimized for its intended shot: the long irons have a lower center of gravity and negative bounce to help create lift, while the short irons have a higher center of gravity and positive bounce to reduce drag and prevent shots from floating or ballooning."

Well, the LONG search is over. These irons are just amazing... super balance, awsome feel, laser accuracy, great trajectory... the S90 rifle shafts are not very stiff, but as I am between a S and R, they are just perfect. Everybody is different, of course, but for me these are the best irons I have ever hit, period. Paid $115 for a VG used set on ebay, I couldn't be happier if I was twins!

Owned this club for two seasons now. In my opinion its one of the most unique clubs available. The Tungsten insert in the face makes the club perform in ways traditional clubs simply cannot. Ball flight is higher than normal due to the low C.O.G.. The best iron's I've personnely encountered.

These are by far the best set of irons I have ever hit. Amazing feel and distance control as well as ultra forgiving. Even though these are now older models, IMO they still play right up there with TM's newer RAC versions if not better. I have owned many sets of irons since I started playing 6 years ago, everything from Titleist, Ping, Callaway to Brigestone but I wouldnt trade these 320's for anything.

Model Reviewed: Taylor Made 320 irons

These are superb irons, the best I have ever owned and I have had well over 100 sets of irons in 25 years of playing. Taylor Made makes quality equipment. I tried the Taylor Made 300 forged irons and they were pretty good, but these are vastly better in every respect. Love the feel cartridge, which makes well-struck shots pure and solid. Mis-hit it a little and you still get good results. Feel, distance and playability are superior to every iron out there. I bought my set of TM 320's, brand new, with R-80 lite graphite shafts, on the Internet for the ridiculous low price $225! I dumped a set of Callaway X-16's for twice the price. Also, have played Hogans, Mizunos, Titleist, Cobra, Ping and you-name-it and nothing comes close to these sticks.

Customer Service

Great! Easy to reach, very accommodating and friendly people.

Bought these clubs for 200 on ebay. Went to play golf with my friends the same day, these irons are deadly accurate and very forgiving. We played twighlight golf, and were only able to play 10 holes. I shot a 3 over par! I have never show this well before, usually I shoot around bogey golf. I didn't notice much of a gain in distance. I hit my pitching wedge about 115 yards. I hit two 3 iron shots from ~200 yards out to within 10 feet of the pin. Made a birdie and a tap in par. Greatset of clubs!

What an incredible set of clubs, (S-90 rifle)! After using a set of Top Flite forged irons for 20+ years, I cannot believe the difference in these clubs. The accuracy is unheard of. Everything I hit was straight at the pin. I had a slight slice from the stiff shaft Top Flite's and you knew it when you hit a miss shot (on the toe). I hit several shots on the toe with the 320's and I didn't realize it till I looked at the ball mark on the club, very forgiving. Fifteen years ago I could shoot consistently in the high 70's low 80's. I just wonder what I could have shot if I had these baby's. I also just purchased a set of Taylor Made 360 XD irons in the wrapper for $250.00 Ebay. I will try and review these in the next few months. Thanks Taylor Made for such a fine product!

Model Reviewed: TaylorMade 320

I have had these clubs for two years, and love them. Tried lots of other models, but picked the 320s. Since then, I've also made a bunch of clubs, including the Golfsmith Forged Blades, but nothing is as sweet as the 320s. TaylorMade delivered them with over length 6.0 Rifle shafts and 2 deg. upright loft. The only complaint I have is that the 7 iron's swingweight is several points lighter than all the other clubs, and required lots of tape to make it match.

Great looking clubs with a no-nonsense design that makes me comfortable at address. I'm hitting my irons about 5 yards longer with these clubs, but more importantly for me, I'm hitting them higher and with a better draw than before. I really love these Taylor Made's and they've helped my game into the green very much.

Customer Service

Great customer service. When I bought them on e-bay (after hitting balls at local golf shops) I was told that the clubs I bought were standard lie and that I could bend them 2-degrees flat. But when I got them, they turned out to be 2-degrees upright meaning no one would bend them 4-degrees for me. I sent them to Taylor Made in California and they bent them for free.
