Hands down the best irons I have ever used, and I have used a lot of them. Distance, accuracy, spin everything about these irons is great.

these irons are the best irons i have ever played, and probably the best i will ever play. i recently moved up from the ping i3 oversized irons, to the longer blade design of the 200 series. i was able to hit longer, higher shots, and because it wasnt off-set as much as the ping's were, i was able to work the ball right the left more when i needed. another good thing about these irons is that they are very powerful. when i had my ping i3's, i could hit my 8-iron 150. now with the 200 series, i can hit my 8-iron 165! i also love the U-shaped grooves on the clubface. they are much deeper than the i3's are, which allows for more spin on the ball, which is great.

Model Reviewed: TM 200 Series Irons Steel S90

Impressive simple look, easy to hit the ball, and beautiful shape when you address at the ball. I was wondering how Taylor Made Irons can help my game even though I have full faith of Taylor Made 300 series woods/drivers. It was gone now. I traded in my previous iron set, Callaway X-14, to get this 200 series irons, and I am totally satisfied. This irons have long enough distance, very good feel, enough forgiveness, and easy to draw or to fade. It was almost impossible to fade the ball when I hit the X-14s, but this iron set does fade easily when I tried to do so. The distance is about the same as X-14s, a little bit less forgiveness, but the more ability to hit it straight. The price was only $499+Tax, which was low enough to be skeptical compare to other major brands such as Titleist, Callaway, and Hogan..., but when you hit it, your skepticism or your prejudice, if you will, will be gone. Try it before you decide to buy any set of irons. It will show the difference with great bargain price!!!

Customer Service

Pretty good.

I recently purchased a set of custom fit Taylor Made 200 irons, 3 to A Wedge. S90 Shafts. I was told I needed the S90 shaft because I had an inch added to the length of the shafts. My first round I played with these irons I was impressed. The long irons are easy to get up in the air, even out of the rough. My second round I used them I went 6 over for 18 on a cool windy day here in southern Ontario. Overall I am very impressed with the irons, plus the 2 year warranty is a great selling feature. I would highly recommend you get fit by a pro if you are going to but these clubs. I went from standard lie irons to +4 upright and it sure made a difference. Taylor Made does not charge extra if you are custom fit so take advantage of it. The price was right too!

Went straight from a starter set (oversized and very offset) to the 200s. The look of the clubs at address are great. Very slim top line and smooth edges. For me, the look of the club is a great confidence booster. Purchased the set with R-80 graphite shafts and turned out to be a great move. The clubs have a very smooth feel and are very forgiving. Distance is about average, maybe a little short. Tend to have a bit higher trajectory than other models if that is your preference. Either way, very playable and overall a great club at a great value.

I tried several sets of irons including Big Berthas, MX11''s, Hipsteel, DeepReds, and Hogan Apex Edge. I had my heart set on the Hogans until I hit the 200''s. These irons felt better and put the ball in the air on a much better trajectory than the forged Apex Edges. I have only used them 3 times , but the more I get used to them, the more I like them. Not to mention the fact that they were $300 cheaper than the Hogan''s. Great clubs.

I could hit longer with these clubs (I had a burner oversize before) It also gives me control yet still forgiving. It''s a really nice set of club for the price. You won''t be dissapointed.

These are very very sweet clubs. I recently decided to take the crucial plunge of getting custom fitted. In the process I tried hitting the Cleveland TA7''s , Mizuno MX-20 forged and these. The TaylorMade''s won by a long long way. I had very high expectations from the Mizuno''s but the feeling at impact was very hard and crisp, almost to the point that every shot felt like a mis-hit, with very little feedback as a result. The TA7''s felt OK but when I hit the 200''s I know I had found my new clubs. From the very first swing you''re gonna love these puppies ! Impact is very soft with great feedback. you can instantly tell where on the clubface you made contact and even if you miss the enormous sweetspot you are barely punished. With a perfectly sweet shot you can hardly tell you''ve hit the ball. That to me is the sign of a great club. Forgiveness is very high and due to the great feedback it is easy to quickly analyse and correct problems on the course. These might well be the best irons on the market right now. Stick with steel for better feel :) I was so impressed with these that I just got a 200 Series Steel Driver. Break 80 this weekend ?? Definitely sometime soon !

Model Reviewed: Taylor Made 200 series irons

I am 16, and have started getting very serious about golf. I decided that if I really wanted to be serious about golf, I needed to get new equipment, since my old equipment was a cheap target set. Being a left handed golfer, it''s very difficult to find irons that I like, because some manufacturers do not have certain clubs in left handed models. After doing research, and hitting the 320 series, I decided to order a set of the 200''s. These have been everything I anticipated and more. I have gained 10-15 more yards with these clubs (my old clubs had graphite shafts, these are steel), these are very accurate and the shot dispertion is very tight. These clubs have a higher launch angle, without ballooning, or loss of distance. The long irons are as easy to use as the short irons and the pitching wedge. These irons are very versitle, you can use them for many different shots: knockdowns, draws, fades, high shots, or anything else with relative ease. These clubs really do the work for you. I highly recommend them, I think these irons can help me go to the next level. (Taylor Made 200 series irons, regular flex, left handed, steel shafts)
