Bought new from Net,£149 these clubs replaced my Black Cats 1995 era.Ball flight slightly lower than the cats, the shaft is a regular graphite which is stronger than the 1996 big bertha graphite, perfect for my 75mph club speed. I have since bought the 3 hybrid with the same shaft which is perfect.

I'm stoked. Just got my new clubs yesterday. US $208 on Ebay. I'm not an exceptionally long hitter and I was very concerned about changing from My TMade Supersteels. I hit the Supersteels about 1-2 clubs further than everything else I've tried. I'm not sure that the Srixon's are quite as long, but I'm definitely not losing much. Hard to be sure as I've only been to the range once. Great feel. Good distance. Able to easily nail the 100 yard marker with PW which is pretty long for me (9 iron for me with Tommy Armours and some of the Titleist that I've hit). Considering you can pick them up brand new for between 200-250 dollars, I don't think there is a better value out there. Real nice looking too. Thin topline. I hate the huge clunky look of many of today's GIP irons.

I'm a high 80's, low 90's golfer with my iron game as my strength. I bought these clubs new, as an upgrade from Tommy Armour 855's. Their feel is OK but I lost a full club length in distance. Also, the 3, 4 and 5 irons all went about the same distance, 170 yards, which was my 6 iron with the TA's. They are accurate and pretty forgiving clubs at a good price but distance is a sacrifice.

I was playing Hogan APEX EDGE PRO since 1 year; nice blade looking, buttery touch but... anvil touch on off center hits !!I play in hight seventies with a smooth tempo but very difficult to hit 3 and 4 apex irons, only shorts irons incredibles to sucks pins !!So reading these reviews about SRIXON 403,I've puchased one set on EBAY for only 200$(compar with HOGAN)!!And now I'm on Golfer's Heaven, incredible forgiveness and accuracy, very long irons, and I'm hitting 3and4 irons like fuc... rescues !!My first round with these babies was a 71 !!!!
The HOGAN are in my home entry(nice deco) and the SRIXON in my bag for a long time

I have the graphite regular shafts, 3-PW. These irons are real nice and very easy to hit. They do not have a thick top line like most game improvement irons, but are very forgiving, even the 3 and 4 irons. They are long and accurate with a soft feel. I can spin the ball with the short irons and hit a low boring shot with the long irons. I've tried just about every iron available and I think these are one of the best values out there. If you're on a limited budget, you won't find a better club for the money.

Longer than my curreent set by about a club - maybe because the lofts are stronger - but they hit high, long and accurate. Simple looks, satin finish, easy to hit and what a bargain at about $375. They have little offset, a fairly thin topline and sole yet they are so easy to hit. I am switching from forged cavity backs to these cast clubs and was afraid that the feel won't be the same, but a well struck golf shot is buttery no matter the material and I get more well struck shots with these clubs than the forged clubs, the heads are like midsize so that may explain the distance and accuracy - not bulky looking at all. Srixon golf clubs are high quality - very popular in Japan and Europe. Try this set and I believe you will not be sorry.

Is it any wonder why Srixon sales are #1 in Europe and Japan over Taylor Made, Titleiest, Callaway, & Ping, to name a few (See also w-403ad review). Prior to the purchase of these irons, Mizuno MP37s were a mainstay in my bag. Although the MP37s are surprisingly quite forgiving for being true blades, the i-403ad's excel (as the company claims) in distance and accuracy-hence the acronyms 'ad'. When I first addressed the ball w/ these irons, the size and the noticeable offset are characteristics that took a little getting used to. By no means, are these considered 'oversize' irons, but they are larger than what I am accustomed. These issues instantly became insignificant after seeing the consistant ball flight and one club increase in length (i.e.-MP37 7 iron distance equal to i-403 8 iron); make no mistake the 37s are long as well. Srixon claims the lowest CG on the market today w/ the advent and implementation of (2) two tungsten inserts in the sole of each club, the variable hosel lengths, and variable mass location in the cavity. For being 'cast' irons, these puppies possess an exceptionally soft feel to my delight. The SUS 255 stainless steel maintain a forged look unlike most cast clubs today. This club has all the bells and whistles, are seemlessly attractive, and are just as solid as the w-403ad driver that now resides in my bag. By the way, our Ryder Cup captain-one Mr. Tom Lehman, uses Srixon balls. Someone of that stature has the gamut of the industry big boys to select what ball to use. Lehman is no fool. I will post an update by mid spring to reveal if my 9 hc has decreased as a result of Srixon's advancements in golf technology. I have a feeling that the total (4) four reviews on this site for the 403ad line of clubs will be increasing exponentially in the coming season. Srixon has made me a believer indeed. Hop on 'cuz there's room on this bus.

I bought these Irons a few days ago.. Fantastic buy!!! I tried the new Taylor Made RAC LT, King Cobras, Cleveland irons and while they were all nice, especially the Clevelands, none of them were quite as nice as the Srixons... The distance was the first thing i noticed.. definatley longer than the others. Also the feel was excellent. They look good, feel good when u stand over the ball, the feel it ecellent, you can shape the shots even though there is a degree of forgiveness in the face. They are also considerablt cheeper than the other makes.

I recently purchased these irons on Ebay sight unseen; heck, I didn't even know Srixon made irons. Apparently not many other folks did either, because there were no other bites besides my $299--the minimum bid! To me, it seemed like a reasonable gamble: brand new graphite shafted irons from a quality company. Turns out to have been a sweetheart of a deal. These irons are very long and forgiving with a soft feel. Solid contact feels so flush it tingles your toes...yet the ball rockets off the clubface high and straight. The cool thing is they look like blades, what with their slim top line and sole. So to your golf partners you look like some hot shot playa! Honestly, I've played Callaway, Ping, Yonex, and Cleveland, among others...and these clubs are, in my opinion, simply better. For the money (around $600 retail, but check Ebay) you simply cannot buy better looking, more forgiving clubs. They receive my 5-star-PLUS recommendation!
