Stunning clubs.

Every manufacturer stumbles across a design that flat out works but of course they have to sell new clubs and so the design is lost. The 403 is Srixon's version.

What's not to like, very forgiving, lots of distance because of strong lofts (you'll need a gap wedge), very thin sole so all lies are easy, small amount of off-set working the ball is still fairly easy, club face slightly bigger than a blade, large shallow cavity that is not visible at address, weight down low and also in centre back for a soft feel and plenty of feedback.

Anyone from mid 90's to scratch will benefit from these great clubs. They don't look as sexy as a forged muscle back but I'll take GIR every time. Srixon make great quality gear and these are no exception. If you get a chance to try them I'm sure you'll be impressed. I've owned or demoed a lot of clubs and these are the equal of anything and being older they sell for next to nothing.

Until the perfect club comes along rest assured these are as good as anything that's been made to date. Club choice is a personal thing and if you prefer large heads with no feel then that's great for you but I can't think of any club that handles all types of conditions and player types better than these.

These are the best Irons I have hit so far, if you like going straight with good loft and very good distance these are the irons for you.
Since buying these It is almost impossible to hit a off center shot because the entire clubface is very forgiving. I would recommend them to anyone
I also added an extra 10-15 yards per club with these irons.

Got these used a month ago for under $100 as a replacement for my Armour 855's which I had played for about 10 years. I regripped with Golfsmith blue half-cords and have nothing but good things to say thus far. They are surprisingly long, a half club longer than my previous set but still have great feel. They are also pretty forgiving overall, especially for shots on the toe. They have a very appealing visual line when addressing the ball and I've been able to work shots both ways. The swing weight feels great and they are solid through impact. Well struck shots are rewarded with a great ball flight and spin. For the price I couldn't go wrong but I'd pay double for the results I've received. I would recommend these to any mid to low handicapper.

Bought these irons with Rifle 5.5 shafts. Took them out today and was completely blown away. These irons instilled a confidence I have never had with any other set of irons. Soft feel yet able to read mis-hits. Straight and long and they will be in my bag for a long time. I don't even want to try anything else. The thin top line makes you feel like you are almost cheating. All I can say is try these you will sure like what you get.

fantastic set of irons not as wide soled as many other leading irons but alot more forgiving. The thin head means you get more feel for the ball and overall a better shot. I purchased these irons in england while i was looking at some callaway fusions the pro recomened the srixons i tryed both out and the srixons where alot better they are the best irons for the money at the moment

Bought these irons off of Rock Bottom Golf. They are very forgiving and are not as bulky as most non-player irons. They look sleek and the offset is hardly noticeable. Great set of irons, look out for Srixon golf in the future.

Came across these clubs by accident. was looking for a left-handed graphite Gap wedge (a rare beast) in the barrels at the local public here in Perth, Oz, & found just ONE, which happened to be the I-403 AD A (approach)wedge. Bought it, then noticed that 3-SW was on sale for AU$299 (were $699). Thought there's no way they'd have a left-handed set but they found one in a box out the back! Tried the 5 & 8 & they go further than my 10-year old Topflite tours (best 5 iron 165 metres at range). Such a bargain that I had to buy them. Felt ok first day on the course (today) but only had my C game, so will provide another review later. I like the blade AW & SW, good feel & look, & like a previous reviewer, prefer the slimmer look rather than chunky. Now sitting on 17.7 handicap, so hoping that these will get me into the low teens!

Bought off Ebay for $175 CAN, what a steal, I used TM RAC LT with an upgraded Aldila Tour Gold shaft and never thought these irons would outshine them but they have. Great feeling, long and accurate. This is the best value ever. The RACs may just go on Ebay now.
