Bought a set of the nickel irons second-hand from a local golf shop. They were in great condition, especially for the price. I had the shafts replaced with with True Temper Tri-Gold shafts. This set replaced my previous Lynx Blackcats--and has made a world of difference. I had the Blackcats for about three years...three miserable golfing years. With this new Ping set, I'm back to the low 80's and hit every iron with confidence. As for value, I got a pretty good deal. These clubs once went for $1300-1600 a set. The ones I bought were no more than two years old and showed almost no wear. Had I paid the full retail, they would be more of a marginal value. Similar Products Used: None |

Excellent feel and surprising playability with these irons. It is very easy to repeat your swing due to the positive feedback at contact. Thought it has a smaller head than the the ISI-K, it promotes confidence and is pleasing to the eye. Customer Service Excellent service and fantastic fitting program Similar Products Used: Titleist 981, TaylorMade LCG's and Supersteel, King Cobra II |

Iron are superb for shot making, easy to work the ball. I feel that long irons create a gap in distances, while short irons tend to keep equivalent distance gaps between irons. I use precision rifle shafts which aids to the optimum ball flight i prefer, slightly lower for the jz shafts tend to have a higher trajectory. Customer Service Company is extremely expensive for repairs, return rate is slow as well. Similar Products Used: None |

These are great irons. The feel is great. I have black dot standard CuBe set 3-SW. They are slightly offset to correct bad shots. These clubs are very accurate. Customer Service Yes, a club broke I hit a tree branch. The club was repaired in three weeks during the busy season. This is excellent service. Similar Products Used: None |

The ISIs are very forgiving clubs and have great feed back with the cushin insert. These clubs are easy to hit and the long irons are some of the easiest to hit I've tried. I think these clubs are good for all handicaps because they offer playibility and forgiviness. Similar Products Used: Too many |

I bought these clubs right away after testing them at Ping's club demo booth. I've played them for 2 years now and the club still looks brand new because of its durable and natural looking finish. In my mind they look better then the ever-popular eye 2. The reasons I chose these clubs are: Similar Products Used: Mizuno MP-11, Callaway X-12, Titleist 981 |

Great clubs, even my mis-hits seem to turn out OK. High trajectory but I can get use to that based on the results these give me! Customer Service Excellent, either by phone or e-mail. |

I really enjoy these clubs. I had better like them because I plan on owning them for the next thirty years and only regripping them once because I hate spending money, actually my bills squint when I open my wallet. Other than that feel pretty fortunante that I found a pro shop that was able to shorten all my shafts to 5 inches less than standard length on each club. I am 5'1 on a good day and my arms are extremely short too. I have found that the ISIs adapt very well to the shorter length and I'm hitting less grounders as a result. Ping makes great hats too. I only wish my doctor would allow for me to wear one when I play. I was struck in the head with an errant tee shot in 1993 and I now have to wear a hockey helmet when I play golf. I have written several letters to Ping asking them for a logo sticker that I could put on the front of my helmet. My playing partners are constantly flying my tee shots but I am just grateful that I don't have to buy new clubs for another 27 years. Similar Products Used: None |

I switched from blades to these clubs about 3 years ago and it was like night and day. They are relatively forgiving on mis-hits, losing distance and direction slightly, but not drastically. More importantly, the "sweet spot" is very large so I have the satisfaction of that "pure" contact many many more times per round. If I were buying new clubs right now, I would still look around, but I wouldn't be surprised if I bought the exact same ones. Customer Service Very good customer service, clubs are serialized so if you ever lose one, you don't have to get refit, just send in your number and it will be matched to the rest of your set. Excellent overall playability. Easy to work the ball R to L, but the offset makes fading a little more difficult. Very forgiving. Easily the softest feeling cast clubs I have tried. Good distance control, and also versatile around the greens. The sole is quite forgiving on heavy shots, and they are good out of the rough as well. They don't launch the ball quite as high as some game improvement clubs, but their versatility makes up for this slight drawback. Similar Products Used: Mizuno |
