Great feel with these irons -- I believe that the irons are extremely forgiving and very accurate, exspecially the 6-PW. Mid handicappers need to consider these irons. |

Ping i3 +
I recently purchased a set of ping i3+'s brown dot, regular steel shaft and so far mighty impressed. I had been playing Maxfli Revolutions Black for the last 3 years and as my course time has been cut back they were just getting to hard to score regularly with. When I first hit these clubs I did not like them at all they felt harsh and unforgiving but after a few practice sessions at the range I started getting the desired results. I have played 6 competive rounds with them so far and have seen my scores get back to were they used to be. Definatley down to the clubs because I no have no fear of going for it with these clubs. I am not hitting them further than the maxfli's but hitting them a lot more solid. I don't try to work the ball in the air or try to get a lot of spin but these clubs still bit well on hard greens from the 5 iron up. I am well pleased with these clubs and they should be in my bag for a few seasons. Customer Service don't know Similar Products Used: Maxfli revolution, Lynx, wilson |

I started playing with a second hand Powerbilt TPS with graphite shafts. I tried a number of clubs before choosing the Pings. The steel shafted 3i+ was simply outstanding for the loft and the accuracy. Besides one of the few clubs to be still made in the US most of the others are made in China They are perfectly weighted, nice grips and just a pleasure to play with. Especially when my buddies prefer it over their X14s I used to shoot in the 100s and now in three months shoot in the low 90s. The fitting and the dot system made a difference. Initially I had to get used to the offset and the club lie. One lesson with the pro fixed that. Customer Service Not used yet Similar Products Used: Callaway, Taylor Made, Hogan, Nikent, Mizuno |

i3+ stiff cs lite w/cushin at D-1
Sold my first set of i3+'s due to light swingweight and high ball flight. Lost a good club in distance. Yet, I really like the look and feel of the irons. This time I ordered with D-1 swingweight and tour lofts. WOW.. what a difference! These puppies rock. Cushin insert adds a little weight and the D-1 helps me feel the club head. Hit two 4 irons 195yds to within 8ft. These have finally knocked my eye2+'s w/rifle 5.5 out of the bag. YES!! Customer Service Golfsmith had to send 3 other sets back till ping got it right. Very unusual for ping. Both companies were apologetic and nice. Similar Products Used: ta7, x16, mx20, eye2+, mac 1025c's |

Ping I3+ irons
Awesome! Based on price and looks, the i3+ weren't even in my list of top 3 clubs to choose from, but I figured I might as well try it out for comparison to show that big bucks doesn't necessarily mean its much better. Was I ever wrong. These were longer, straighter, and easier to hit than Callaway x14 & x16. Wilson Deep Reds were almost as long and straight, but didn't feel as good as Ping. The i3+ feels so good with a nice soft click on solid shots. Trajectory is very high and as a result, distance is only slightly longer than my old clubs, but my club fitter assured me that my high trajectory was optimal. The benefit of course is that balls stick to the green and I've dropped about 8 strokes since I got these. These clubs cost a lot, but I'll be a Ping fan for life. Customer Service Fast - received in 10 days, but haven't tried their service for anything else. Similar Products Used: Callaway x12, Cobra |

Two thumbs up for these clubs. I'm hitting longer and straighter...i know it not just the club but also your swing but with the kind of confidence these clubs gave me and a little analysis of my swing and practice, i am now a better player...and will be more. Make sure you get fitted though. I used to think it won't really matter but now I know. You gotta have the right club, right size, and right degree angle that'll work for you then everything else will flow naturally. No need to adjust and feel uncomfortable. It's worth gettig fitted especially with these clubs. PING---you guys have done a good job! Thank you for making golf fun...again. Customer Service Excellent!!! Great clubs! These clubs are fitted to my specs and are hard to hit wrong. I like the look of this particular Ping. It looks good while it's in my bag beckoning me at home and looks even better when it's sitting behind the ball at the course. It helps build confidence in your game when a shot off of the toe still feels pretty darn good and somehow brings a smile to your face while it heads straight toward the intended target. These irons have increased my swing speed by about 6mph over other clubs I've tried. The distance is irrelevent to me, but the improved shot accuracy sure makes the game more enjoyable. I had heard and read good things about the Ping company and their service dept. from other golfers, but never felt that Ping suited my image or taste...or something. Well, live and learn. These clubs make good sense to me. I seem to change clubs about every 5 years as my game changes. I liked the Big Bertha irons that I purchased a few years ago, but began to tire of their extreme off-set and very thick top-line appearance at address. I also had a problem with hitting the same iron for an equal distance each time I used it. This unpredictability made it impossible to calculate yardage and ruined quite a few shots that should have landed pin high. I fixed this problem (no irons were thrown in the water)by choosing the Ping i3+ irons. Customer Service unknown..haven't needed any service Similar Products Used: orig. Callaway Big Bertha |

Ping i3+, orange dot, std. grip, CS Lite R
Well, Ive given up the old '96 Big Bertha irons with the hope of reclaiming the "shoots in the 80s" status that abandoned me just about the time I gave up my Tommy Armour 855s to a fellow golfer many moons ago. As fate would have it, he now shoots in the 80's with my old 855's while I struggle to hit 93. He thinks it's funny too. But, now he is scared. The Ping i3+ is smoking the older technology in feel and distance. Just to rub it in, I let him swing a 7-iron off the tee of a par 3 (only once..ha). It was his best shot of the day. I scored 90 on my first outing with these irons and would have. (had to take a drop after shanking a tee shot) I was converted in my way of thinking about Ping irons after trying several others in the cage at Edwin Watts with the computer analyzing my swing & results. Club head speed was an average of 88 with the Ping i3+. This was about 5mph faster than results gained from TM RACos, Mizuno 20, Titleist 762. Shots were much straighter even on slight miss-hits especially when off the toe. I went into the store with a very open mind as to which club to leave with, but after several test swings of each club mentioned, I left with the one club that I personally thought was the least likely candidate in the beginning. I was sold on the seemingly endless sweet spot, the confidence the club gave me at address, the effortless distance achieved and the future resale value of the Ping. By the way, these clubs just look good. Needless to say, my thoughts that Ping was just a fancy name for some of the "keep up w/the Jones'" types have been squashed. These clubs are doing the trick for a hacker like me. I don't work the ball or probably even swing the same way twice in a row, but I do hit that baby straight now. Customer Service Edwin Watts in Tyler,TX: The guy that helped me was great and I think $499 for a just like-new set of Ping i3+ is fair enough.
