None I had the ping zing for years and loved them. So I got fit for my new ping i/3''s and I am still a big ping fan. They do a great job on all of the clubs they make. Similar Products Used: None |

None the i3''s are excellent clubs, but do not expect miracles. you still have to hit the ball with the club. although there is a large sweet spot and the ball does tend to get up, you still have to execute the shot. these are great clubs and if you have the extra money, I would suggest these clubs Similar Products Used: armour 845''s, mizuno blades |

Ping I3 Oversize

None I bought my Pings just before heading to Ocean City MD for a three day golf trip. I hit a few balls at the range and instantly I noticed that the distance I was used to hitting was increased by 10-15 yards with these clubs. I used to hit 7 irons 150yds, with these clubs, 165yds. My very first round I played with them I couldn''t believe it. I was hitting longer, higher and straighter shots than I ever hit with my previous two sets of irons I owned. The consistancy was excellent and when I hit the sweet spot, the feeling was pure joy. Off center hits were very forgiving and lost only about 5-6 yds distance. Shots still went straight. Well I dropped 5 strokes from my low 90''s humdrum usual score without doing anything different! After fiddling around with low cost irons for 5 years, I made the commitment to fork over the bucks and buy a premium set of irons and I have been greatly rewarded. I went from a 20 hcp to a 13 hcp in one year! Now if I could only putt... For all those who want to better their game and enjoy themselves for a change, stop being cheap and GET THESE CLUBS!! You won''t be dissapointed. Thank you Ping for allowing me to enjoy myself on the links! Similar Products Used: None |

None I struggled with my game this year, so I switched from my Mizuno blades to these clubs. It was a it traumatic, but a positive move. These clubs provided me the forgiveness to regain confidence in my swing and hit the ball solidly again. They hit the ball a bit lower than my Mizunos and perhaps a bit farther. They have a solid feel and inspire confidence at address. I still may go back to my blades, but will keep these clubs in reserve for those times when I need to reestablish confidence. Customer Service Excellent. Custom fit and received clubs in seven days. Nice people. Similar Products Used: Used blades before |

None I got these clubs 8 month ago so i know all about them. When i got them i was strugerling with my game so i found them real easy to hit. With the clubs i have gorn from scoreing 90 80 to into the 70''s.The feel i get from these clubs is the worst i have ever played. The club is basically used just to get the ball in the air. If you hit it off the dead centre it feels the same as if you had hit it off the toe. You will also fell the cavity on the back of the club especially on the long irons. The long irons really sux. They go real far but feel bad. I am a golfer that needs irons that feel great off the middle. If you are like me do not get these irons. If you are a average play get them. I am going to trade them in for a blade club. I will try the ping i3 blade but if it feels anything like the o size forget it. The titleist 990 come off real strong and feel great only on well struk shots though. I may also try the 981. Ping you have let me down!!!!!!! Similar Products Used: None |

None I have to agree with the previous post. They are not necessarily longer or than other clubs but the feel and the results are great. They do fly long, high and straight. I just picked up my set (3-UW) yesterday. It took about 10 days to get them from Ping. I tested several clubs as noted and the closest competitor I found was the Taylor Made 320s. They both have very similar characteristics and produced great results. My tests were a little more fact based than emotion based. I have no brand loyalty to any manufacturer. I took all the irons to the driving range and hit each iron 50 times. Each shot was judged on distance and accuracy. Even though my "heart" may have wanted a different club my mind told me the best was the Ping I3. After all the hitting and testing was done, my chart proved to me it was the Ping. I repeated the test a week later just to make sure. I ended up with the same results---the Ping I3 was more consistent for me than the others. The distances on them were very simliar but the I3 being more accurate was the determining factor. Now if I could learn to putt better..... Customer Service Not needed so far. None I was in the market for either the Ping i 3, or the Callaway hawkeye vft irons. I used them both, and I bought the Pings. From the long irons to the short irons, hitting both the Pings and the Callaways produced similar shots. The feel was similar for both, the distance and accuracy was as well. The key difference between the Pings and Callaways are in two areas. First, the Callaways hit higher than the Pings, which was annoying. Unless you want or need to hit a shot high, there is no need to do so, and your distance obviously then is reduced. Secondly, on "mis-hits", the Pings were far more forgiving. They were more accurate and longer than the Callaways, and again, the hawekeye simply shot the ball up in the air. Control of the Pings is also easier, both with short irons and long irons. For any golfer beginner to advanced, if you want to improve your game and play a club that has no peer in accuracy, distance, and forgiveness, the Ping i3 clubs are your best choice.
