I just got the 14 degree (#3) and the 18 degree (#5) as gifts from my wife. What gifts! They have turned my sorry game into something a can really work on. Instead of big slices and 150 yard 3 woods off the tee or outright mis-hits, I'm now whacking them 225-260! Best of all almost all are straight. Let me say that again, straightttt... Even the mis-hits are not bad. My friends are amazed. I'm outdriving guys in my foursome 20 years younger and it's killing them. One just bought an Orlimar driver, 13 and 17(but not the Plus Series) after I spanked him with mine last Sunday. He is a much better player than I am so I consider that a compliment. The regular graphite shafts are fine for my swing speed. Strangely, even my (Ram) iron shots have improved. No doubt, this is part of the confidence gained from my new straight & long tee and fairway shots. What a difference! Now I can hit the 14 off the tee, and the 18 as a second shot and have a shot at the green in two or at least a 9/PW as a third shot. Now if I could just avoid those three putts! I know this sounds like one of those trumped up infomercials, but I'm just excited. I haven't ever had a lesson and rarely break 100. In my last four rounds (the only 4 with the Orlimars)I broke 100 twice! I have a set of Ping i3's on order (2 degrees upright) so these clubs are just great to build my confidence for ther new irons. By the way, I'm left handed so to hit them well off the tee is now a pleasure because as a lefty, you are a bit of an oddity and everyone is always checking out your swing. Go get em'!

Model Reviewed: Ping I-3 O-size

Just received the new i3s and got a chance to play them this past weekend. I never shot under par until last weekend (2 under). I play to a 6-8 handicap. I purchased the green dot and put rifle tour flight shafts in all the irons. Feel and trajectory was great. I have literally played just about all irons out there (mizuno, taylor made, callaway, wilson, hogan, titleist, etc)!! I cannot wait to play again with them! I thought that I needed to play with blades to improve my game, but the i3s are perfect for me.

Customer Service

Ping's customer service is the best along with callaway's service.

I''ve been playing for 10 years, used to shoot in the low 90''s with my trusty Mizuno blades. Don''t play as much know so needed more forgiveness. Love these clubs. Fitting made a big difference. I have stiff graphite shafts - regulars gave me too much air. One downside is that they are shorter than my Mizunos, who cares - take an extra club! Bit on the expensive side I guess - but the extra confidence is worth it.

Customer Service

Excellent service - demo clubs, advice, re grips etc. - was thinking Callaway until I actually spoke to the local distributor Pan West - they were useless
