Love solid feel of these irons. Like the awt regular shaft just the right kick for my swing - long & staight but plenty of forgiveness for those of with jobs who can't play every day. The fit and finish are Ping quality all the way. No wonder Ping clubs have higher resale than most. Try them for yourself & compare. Do get fitted that makes these clubs the best! Customer Service Very helpful & fitting on website is awesome. Similar Products Used: Callaway, Cleveland |

I am a bit of an odd one when it comes to irons, I am VERY fussy. I have to like the look of a club at address before I will even entertain the idea of hitting a ball. My problem is I have the taste of a PGA tour pro but the skill of a Mid/Low handicapper. This basically means I am not intimidated by looking down on thin top lines and no offset, infact I prefer it that way. Big chunksters like Big berthas and G2's etc put me right off. It has taken until now to find a club (ping i10's) that ticks all my boxes, It has a slim top line, little offset (I hit a high draw so big offset turns my shots into hooks) and despite the compact head it has a plenty big cavity and lots of forgivness without sacrificing feel. I have kidded myself for years that I prefer the soft "buttery" feel you get from sriking a forged club sweetly, I have owned Mizuno MX20's MP30's and Snake eyes 600C's in the past and although it is a good feeling to smash a ball right out of the sweet spot on a forged club you only tend to hear it rather than feel it as it is so soft and "buttery" that you dont actually "feel" the ball at all and although this is a nice feeling i'm not sure it is benificial to the golfer. So it was not until I gave a demo Ping i10 a go and "middled" it first go that I First felt what a sweet shot was like with a decent set of cast irons and I must say the extra feedback you get in the hands, while not being "harsh" due to the tuning (Dampening?) port in the cavity it was more of an impact on the hands than a forged club, but in a good way. The trajectory is mid hight for me with the AWT standard steel shaft (R flex)and i usually hit em high. Other bonuses are that ping clubs tend to wear very well. look at an old set of "eye" irons and i bet they still look good almost 25 years on. I have a set of Mizuno MP30's that are 4 years old and they look like they came out of a WW1 trench, not that i'm suggesting durability should be your number one consideration when buying clubs but you get my drift. Anywho I am waffling now so i'll sum it up. PING I10's: Compact, forgiving, good feedback, nice looking, not too chunky, workable, durable, good value (look at the re-sale value compaired to similarly aged clubs)good fitting service from a proper PING dealer, get them fitted to you, its worth the extra cash compaired to cheap internet deals. Customer Service In the UK I believe they have stopped doing the free adjustments and now make you pay...not good, that was what made me consider ping in the first place. other than that I had no cause to get in touch with PING as I bought them through a shop who had what i wanted/needed in stock. Similar Products Used: Mizuno MX 20's and MP30's (both good)

Ping G10
Very easy to play with soft feel, distance is above average but not exceptional and ball flight is high. I wanted a reliable solid club and after trying everything out there this is the one. I would recommend that the better players go for the Ping W-Tour wedge rather than the G10 gap and sand wedges. I have the graphite regular shafts and think I will probably move on to a regular steel shaft in a while for extra precision. Customer Service Very good. Buy them in a shop and get fitted it really is worth paying the extra (even if it is a tiny bit cheaper on internet) Similar Products Used: Taylormade CGB max and R7, Callaway X20, Cobra S9 etc etc |

Purchased I-10s with z-z65 steel shafts. I am a high ball hitter and the z-z65 shaft does a nice job in lowering the ball flight. New AWT is a nice feeling shaft but resulted in too high of a ball flight for me. Club head has nice soft feel with tuning port, better than forged clubs tried such as Mizuno MP57 and Titleist 755. Reduced offset as compared to I5s works for me as I tend to draw the ball anyway. My first Pings and I wish I switched sooner. Overall a great club at a great price. Customer Service Not used. I had been playing with a custom set of Mizuno MP 60's graphite clubs for quite some time. Afterwards, I realized I losing some distance; however, my accuracy was very good with the MP 60's. One day during a lesson I took out my old PingG2 seven iron and compared it to the Mizuno MP 60 seven iron. Both the distance and height were far better with the G2 seven.
Customer Service Make sure you are fitted. That is the key Similar Products Used: Mizuno MP 60's, Ping G2, Mizuno MX 23 and various sets Callaway, Hogan, Honma, etc |

After getting fitted and receiving my new clubs I couldn't have been more disappointed. These clubs are plain butt ugly and feel clunky compared to anything else I've ever hit. Fortunately under playablility guarantees I was able to return them for full credit. I got the I10 instead and find them to be a great look and feel and they are as easy to hit as the overdone super player improvement clubzillas so prevalent today. The I10s are Ping Eyes, and that's what put Ping irons in the amateur golfers hall of fame. Customer Service Not needed. Similar Products Used: Mizuno MX-900 |

I played with Tommy Armour 845s for the last 10 years. My wife wanted to get me a new set of irons for Christmas so I demoed everything on the market (Callaway X-20s, TaylorMade R-7s, Wilson Ci6s, etc.) and eventually decided on the Ping G-10s. I cannot be happier.
Customer Service Have not used. Similar Products Used: Demoed R-7s, X-20s, Ci-6s, King Cobras, MacGregors. Basically all the current game-improvement irons. |

Ping i10
I just purchased a set of Ping i10 irons and they are great. I am 6'5" and I have always purchased standard off the shelf clubs and had them lengthened. I had these custom fitted with an upright lie and added 1 1/2 inches to the shafts. I seem to have lost a little distance from my previous Taylormade clubs but the Pings are very accurate and stop on a dime. When struck well I am able to put a lot of spin on the ball and the feel is great. I hit these very high have been backing up my short irons and even the 4 and 5 irons stop on a dime. These irons are very soft. I have not been able to hit shots with this much feel and spin since I played blades years ago. These clubs are forgiving and have more of a traditional blade look when addressing the ball. As I was going through the purchasing process I tried Taylormades, Callaway , Cleveland, Ping G10, and Ping I10 clubs. All these are great clubs and I was struggling to make a decision between the Ping G10 and Cleveland clubs. However I tried the i10's last and immediately knew I preferred the feel and size of these clubs. I can't wait to get out and play these clubs more. Once I dial in the distance I know I can shave some strokes. Customer Service I was concerned that when ordering these clubs that the lie was too upright. I called Ping direct and the customer service representative seemed to ask all the right questions and assured me that the lie was correct due to my height. I was very impressed to get a real person with excellent knowledge of club making. |

I went to my local golf store to check out the TM RAC TP's and the Callaway X-20 Tours. I've never owned or seriously considered a Ping iron before. Well, I walked away with these. I absolutely loved their look and after hitting them just had to buy them. I purchased with the stock stiff steel and love the feel. Just two rounds in but extremely happy with the decision. It still gets down to confidence with your clubs. The smaller head size and set-up of these just breed confidence in your swing. They are plenty long and forgiving for me - I shoot mid 70's to the mid 80's. I would strongly advise 5 to 12 handicappers to look at these over the Mizuno or Callaway low/mid handicapper irons.
