I have struggled with "players clubs" for three years now and finally was fitted and demo'd these irons. This may only echo countless others but it is true...the best I have ever hit a golf club, most consistent...7 GIRs in 9 holes second time out...great for an eighties shooter...the confidence factor cannot be overstated.

Wow, I love G10 irons! Bought it in March 08, and I'm hitting it longer every time I play, that may not necessary be a good thing but these irons are so forgiving that you have so much confidence over the ball. My length has gotten from 8 iron of 145 – 150 to 150 – 160, I could hit 3 iron from 215 – 225. Not just the length, but off-centered hits are so forgiving. Love the fitting system, I’m 5’ 9” and fitted with Red Dot, regular length and I feel like tour pros. don’t take my word for it, demo it.

This set of Ping I 10 irons shows no new technology at all. The playability is no better than the Wilson clubs I played 20 years ago. Best look elsewhere if you really want to an easy set of clubs to play.

I have played hand me down pings for almost all of my 25+ years as a golfer - first the old Karsten VI clubs, then an eye2 set. Finally I came to my senses and got myself custom fitted for a set of i10s at my local Golfsmith. Two weeks later my new set (purple dot, 1/4 inch short, AWT regular shafts) came in, and I couldn't be happier. They set up really well to the eye, with a thin top line and only a small amount of offset. I hit some G10s in the store and have played my brother's G2 irons in the past and both were a little too large and too far offset.

These clubs are the best of both worlds for me. They're very forgiving and give me plenty of distance on my off-center hits (better than my eye2 set) but are also very workable, both with height and shape of my shots (also better than my eye2s). Even the short irons are surprisingly workable. Maybe it's nothing more than getting custom fitted, but I think it has a lot to do with these excellent irons as well. As a mid-teen handicapper looking to get into at least the 5-6 range, I feel good that these clubs can not only take me there but keep me there. Oh, and by the way, these clubs are less than both the Rapture and the G5/i5 series. Go get them.

I have played 30+ years and probably owned 20+ sets of primarily forged players CBs & blades. Finally due to a chronic back problem and simply wanting to make game easier I got my first set of Pings last Nov. Actually hit the i10s and S58s better on range but I have played that type stick for many years and again, wanted to make game easier. I used heated booths over the winter to acclimate myself to offset, topline and wider soles.I have to teach myself to align the clubface properly without closing face. Also I had Ping make swing wieght D2,1* strong, blue dot,AWT stiff and add cushions which not only softened feel but added 7-10 grams of wieght which I liked.Got 4-uw along with a Tour W 56/10 T Grind wedge. These irons have indeed made standing over a ball less stessfull. When I hear people say I puul the ball or I balloon the ball I have to honestly say it's your swing not the clubs. If I can move from what I have played for 30+ years anybody who has an idea of how to play golf and has a decent swing can.Over time I have leaned how to hit the knockdowns and special little shots. Distance is maybe a little bit longer than my Xtours and even my R7tps.This stick can and IS being played by 0-whatever HC.Nobody admired those thin topline, shinny chrome irons more than I ,but even an old dog can learn new tricks. If you can throw ego out the window and want a less sressfull round and more GIRs I would give the G10s a try.

i got fitted by PING van - best thing i ever did - the next level in custom fitting- I AM A PING CONVERT NOW

PING i10. irons/awt stiff shafts / purple dot - good, easy to hit , different feel than forged iron but excellent club- forgiving while offering control and shape

tour wedges, excellent for control, can spin the ball really hard when required.

g10 fairway 3 strong/ prolauch red stiff - long long fairway wood, not as easy to hit as bertha callaway, but much better for ball control. excellent club

g10 driver 9degree, prolauch stiff red- this is the longest driver you will ever hit, really easy to control ball flights, 15 metres longer than my callaway - fantastic sound

Customer Service

excellent, custom order and make, supplied to australia in 20 days EX usa. post delivery, required a follow up email after product registration for insurance purpose - recommend PING

About 1 1/2 years ago I grew restless with my Cleveland TA6 irons and began my search to find a better set. After playing KZG Zo's ( good but unforgiving, Cleveland CG2's ( very good) and Mizuno MX 25s ( also very good) I still felt there was a better iron out there, somewhere. I was looking for foregiveness but didn't want to look at an oversize club or a bunch off offset, as I play a draw anyway. I finally saw what I was looking for, the Ping i10s. Very simple head, minimal offset, nice cavity for foregiveness. Anyway, I bought a set and couldn't be more pleased. Thank God for Ping. They designed a traditional looking club that's easy to hit and an absolute joy to play. If you're thinking about getting a set, don't hesitate. You'll love 'em!

As a sidenote, I played the Eye 2+ for many years, and I believe the i10 is a better club.

Customer Service

top notch! My clubs came spot on in all regard with a thorough quality check attached.

(Index is 8.1) Got fitted by ping at demo day . Every thing was fine, but since receving (4-Gap) they just don't work for me. Misses are left and ballon if there is any wind. Probably need to stick with something less offset.

Customer Service

Good just not sure I was fitted or advised correctly.

I was on the market for a new set. I went to a custom fitter (here in the Netherlands) and after taking all the measurements I tried out some clubs: X20, Burner XD, Mizuno 25's and the G10.
The Ping G10's where immediately my favorit. It's so easy to hit with them. No I am a Ping fan! I bought the whole lot at once:
G10 Driver 12*
G10 3 and 5 wood
G10 Hybrid (18,5*)
G10 Irons 5-p
Ping Tour Wedges 54 and 60
Ping I-series Craz-E putter
Ping Pioneer bag
Bagboy 3 wheel trolley!
