I've just been through a 7 year stint trying all sorts of different clubs (Mizuno T-Zoid, Callaway X-12 Pro, Hogan Apex Plus) and I have come full circle back to my original clubs - Ping Eye 2+ becu. It's the perfect combination of forgiveness and feel. Can't understadn why Ping discontinued these.

I began to play golf seriously a year ago, and I got my father's eye 2's. These are some of the finest clubs that i have used, though the long irons can be streaky, i would recomend this set of clubs to anyone who is serious about playing golf.

I love these clubs! I also really love the price i got them for- $250. When hit right they feel amazing, and are very forgiving. Although sometimes a shot might feel a bit harsh if hit off center, somehow it always ends up on the green...well, a lot. I would give these irons 10 stars for their value if i could. Best clubs for the money!

Traded in an old set of Macgregor Blades for a used set of Ping Eye 2's, having heard so many good things about them.

I can understand why so many tour pros still use them. The model I got was the earlier model, prior to the ones with the "+" marking on them.

They are very forgiving yet have a nice feel for a stainless steel club. Once you become accustomed to their shape, club alignment is a cinch and by todays standards the topline is not too thick.

In play they go a long way and are very easy to work in different directions. These irons are lighter than the ones with the "+" mark on them and the shaft is reasonably stiff, meaning you can swing full out without a loss of control, even with the shorter irons.

Mid irons are a gem and long iron shots are not impossibly difficult either.

Get your hands on a used set if you can, I promise you will be impressed

Just started golfing less than a year ago. My starting set was a knock off x12. Couldn't control my shots at all. I had a hard time setting up with the offset of these clubs. On a whim, I bought a used set of ping eye 2. My first hit with the 5 iron went high and straight. I tried the other irons. All went straight and high (and long). I'm hitting my 3 iron so well, I'm considering purchasing a eye 2 iron soon. This is simply the best irons I ever swung. Period. Just a warning. Make sure you use the ping site for fitting before purchasing a set.

Best clubs I have ever played with. Shots are consistant and long. Miss-hits are forgiving and still feel good.I've been playing golf for nine years. Got these clubs in high school and havent switched yet. If you are looking for a good set of clubs these Pings are the way to go.

I have owned these clubs since 1991. They were ordered with zzlite shafts that were available with original eye 2's.I have recently had them adjusted 2 degrees flat(orange dot)These clubs continue to perform so well that even though I tried the new eye3,there is no significant difference in performance to justify purchase. A word of caution,check out your lie and loft on clubs older than 5 yeras as they will change over the years. I play 260 rounds per year so the clubs are also durable.
