Overall the clubs are great, but then again, I’ve liked most blades that I’ve hit. Definitely expect to lose yards with these blades. Specs are designed in such a way that you should lose yards unless you modify the clubs. The clubs play very soft. Some may not like this. You lose a sense of feel but benefit if you are less than precise at contact. Long irons are very easy to hit. Have hit more par 5s in two using 2i or 3i than ever before. I would not recommend these clubs if you are looking for distance. They also seem to result in a larger divit footprint. But, I haven’t chunked one yet. Knock on wood. |

This set of iron does offer excellent feel what you got it at the sweet spot. Accuracy is goood as well. But they're not for distance, my distance now is about 1.5 club shorter comparing to my previous CB set. Customer Service So far not needed yet. Similar Products Used: Callaway X-14 |

These clubs are amazing in that the ball actually goes where you aim. It's like throwing darts compared to cavity backs. You don't gain distance w/ these clubs, that's a lie, you actually lose a club in distance but gain in accuracy. The craftsmanship in these clubs are flawless coupled w/ the most beautiful design. At address, the top line is thin so that the ball is clearly defined and you feel a sense of confidence that you will hit the ball squarely w/ the compact head. The ball takes off the club nicely and shifts gears in air to a higher plane, lands, and stops. The Rifle Shafts might have more to do with the landing than the clubhead but the feel off the head is smooth. Love these clubs. They hit a little harder than the MP-33's only because the carbon steel is a grade harder. It was a tough call between the Nike's & MP-33's but I felt the Nike's were fractionally better for me. Customer Service N/A. Now news is good news. Similar Products Used: Used to have Ping i3 O-Size, tried my brother's MP-33's, have Mizuno MP Wedges, recommend Rifle Shafts on all irons/wedges. |

i was suckered into buying the ping i3+'s by the pro-shop and my game was completely ruined with weak pissy shots almost slicing to the right - never again 'cos' i got rid of 'em and bought myself a set of the nike blades and now the ball goes the way it should. my distances are back where they should be, as well is the line of shot, the blades give you optimum feel so a thin in cold weather hurts! but is a small price to pay for such a fine piece of engineering. they manouvre the ball very well and feel extremely comfortable and compact at address, i have found no difficulty in the transition from cavity backs to blades and only now realise that i've been suckered by clever marketing tactics for the last 10 years! these clubs have completely straightened my game up and is definately the best golfing decision i have ever made, and will not be changing these clubs for a long time!!! viva nike Customer Service not had any experience with them yet! but their website is very good with all the info you need on nike epuipment Similar Products Used: ping i3+'s-(never again)ping i3 oversize, t-zoid sure, |

Awesome clubs in my opinion. People say they will lower your score significantly, not true however. If you know how to hit them, they will help your game out. Very good shapeshot irons. High trajectory, which results in very godd spin rates. Overall I do suggest trying these clubs out. |

Nike Forged Irons 3-PW
Allowed "store pro" to talk me out of by forged blades this past Xmas and bought the Ping I3+ Blades instead. Score and performance similar to the Zing2s I had been playing. Noticeable lower ball flight and ½ club longer, mostly attributed to stiff shafts (versus regular flex shaft in the Zings). Went on eBay and found a set of Nike Forged Irons to good to be true (extended 1” and 2-degree upright – same as my Ping fitting) for $460. The arrived last week, I took them to the range for two nights and was knocking down targets with each club. 3 and 4 iron in my I3+s rarely get out of the bag. Played Monday 79 (9 G.I.R.s) and shot 77 today (8 G.I.R.s, 6 in one putt range, finished with 3 birdies). The accuracy is incredible. I now know what “feel” is that the good ball strikers talk about. Still working on distance, all of my 8-PW approach shots “bite hard.” Don’t let anyone talk you out of buying forged blades (if you are serious about lowering your handicap). Nike is “da bomb!” Customer Service Have not utilized. Similar Products Used: Ping I3+ Blades, 690MB, and TaylorMade RAC. |

Just got these for Christmas. When you hit them on the sweetspot, they are beautiful. Feels like butta. I do feel like I've lost about 10 yards with these over my old cavity backs though. Just have to make an adjustment. I can work the ball pretty well with these irons. After one or two lessons, I think I can be down around 75 with these babies. Good work Nike. This sticks rawk! And by the way "John K", Tiger does play these irons. Fortunately I don't trouble myself with what tour players play. Play what works for you and use the pros for ideas. In the bag from Tiger's web site: "Nike Forged Irons (2-PW) (all irons are 1 degree upright, have D4 swingweight, standard size grips and True Temper Dynamic Gold X-100 shafts)" Dead Solid Perfect Forever! |
