I am a 15 year old boy and the reason I bought the Nike Forged Blades was that I wanted to be like Tiger Woods. I was told by many people that blades would be too hard to hit. Despite this, I decided to get them any way. All I can say is that it was the best thing I have ever done in my short golfing carear. At the start I did struggle but the clubs give you such good feed back that you are forced to try and improve your swing to strike them well. Now I am full of confidence when I stand over an iron shot and feel my swing has improved greatly. All I can say is buy a set of blades and ditch the cavity backs! ! !

I recently purched a set from a private seller on Ebay. After a couple of buckets on the range and two rounds with the irons I can say that I am pleased with my purchase.
Solid hits feel very pure and fly straight at the target but it is also very easy to work the ball left or right when needed. I did notice that the irons are about a club shorter than my Titleist 990's but the improved feel off the clubface and pinpoint accuracy make these a worthwhile purchase. Mis-hits arent as forgiving as cavity backs (obviously) and come up about a club short but still fly straight.

I'm not a scratch golfer by any means but I learned to play on blades in the 60's when I was a kid. One thing blades teach you is good swing mechanics if you can stick with them. I bought these to practice my swing as I haven't hit a blade in probably 20 years.

These Nike's are nice and the feel is effortless on a good ball strike and great feedback when not so good. I have maybe hit 150 balls total this year on the range and had no problems adapting to these irons. I was shocked when my first ball stuck with the Nike 7-iron landed on the practice green at 135 yds. Felt really good!

They are accurate on a good hit. The short irons no problem but I need to work some more on the long irons. However, I'm really impressed and these clubs motivate me to get out to the range.

Traded an old set of Cleveland TA1 Gunmetals and brought a set of Nike Forged Blades, 2-PW and paid $108.00. Only played 9 holes and shot 40. Which is great for me. Actually missed a few putts. To begin with, I did not want to like these blades. However, they were awesome. I also have Cleveland CG2's and CG10 wedges. I heard from everyone that you lose distance with these so I went a club down and overshot my greens a couple times. When I started using my irons like my CG2's, they went the same distance, but I hit more greens with the Nike blades. I could go wrong getting these beauties for 108 dollars. The 2-5 iron will take some getting use to, but after my round, I went to the driving range and worked them out. Top notch Nike, now I need a hat to wear :)

You will lose distance with these clubs. But I don't, simply because I'm making the loft a bit stronger, reshaft them with Nippon steel shaft 950(95g) & regrip them with light weight grips. That's the secret. Workability is excellent. If you can hit blades, its not the club or nike, you just need some golf lessons.

Normally, a very high handicap amateur would be foolish to buy a forged set of clubs, especially when they still have trouble hitting very forgiving cavity backed clubs. However, if you're really serious about turning your game around like I am, you buy the clubs you know you'll be using years down the road, and learn to play your game with them. I want to learn to be a good player who can hit the ball sweetly every time, and not just someone who gets by with a very forgiving iron. By appearance, they're gorgeous. All chrome face, deep groove feeling in the center, very nice feeling grips. When these need replacing, I will be regripping with Golf Pride Tour Velvet, maybe even Tour Velvet Cords. (Anyone have a reccomendation between the two?) Using the clubs - **You WILL lose distance with these clubs** Anyone who says they gain distance may be right, depending if they've been hooking or slicing their irons! However like other reviews have mentioned, you will gain a lot of accuracy with them. You do need to practice with them in order to really dial down your distances with them. I personally can only hit the 7 iron about 120 carry. These clubs really let you know when you've hit a good shot. I may have a high handicap, but I know what a good shot feels like after using these clubs. It literally feels like you've hit a marshmellow. It's a wonderful feeling, followed by wonderful results. For practicing, I reccomend simple half swings (9:00-3:00 position wise) to really hear that nice click and feel that softness. Results so far? I've had these clubs since February. I've gone from the 100's-120's with 0 pars a round, to 90's with a par or two a round. On Monday I shot an 82! 5 pars, 10 bogeys, 2 double bogeys (Long par 5's aren't fun, and neither is not taking enough club in a headwind water surrounded par 3!) and my first birdie ever. I made Phil Mickelson's 18th birdie at Augusta in '04 look like it was nothing in comparison to mine.

Customer Service

Haven't had to deal with them yet, but I'd imagine I'd have no problems.

I had my mp33s with TFR 5.5 shafts stolen 3 week ago and I bought these becuase I fancied a change people say the mp33 are short hitting clubs, well these are even shorter, but this is not always a bad thing, the longer irons go the same distance and the ballflight is more penetrating, despite the weaker lofts. The shafts are alot stiffer and heavier than my old 5.5 rifles and this makes the irons fly lower and feel less livley than my last set, the feel is harder and less vibrant but more solid also, so they are good in that department overall these irons are fantastic, distance control is great and I like the ballfight, they look as good as any iron ever made, and they flow well from club to club people say these club are forgiving, I disagree, they have much less forgiveness than mp33s and have to be struck properly to obtain results My first score with these irons after i got them was 4 under 68 which is ok considering I havent even calculated exact yardages for these clubs, but I think they are maybe 5-10 yards shorter in the 7-PW and maybe 3-6 yards shorter in the 5 and 6 iron, whilst the 2, 3 and 4 go similar distances even though the ball flight is totally different great clubs

Customer Service

I've had many sets of blades and these are excellent. They look very unforgiving but are really very solid even on mis-hits. Trajectory is as expected and it is very easy to work the ball. These clubs are a great value in the blade market, all of the retailers can't give them away cheap enough. I have played MP-32,33,37,14, Titleist 680,681T,690 and these stand out as the best. My swing speed is a bit higher than most (125+) so you have to take my review in comparison with your own game. If you are looking for a good solid feeling blade this is your club. You should be able to buy them pretty cheap just shop around.
