I shoot in the high 80's and was looking to take my game to the next level. These blades are not nearly as hard to hit as I thought. I have always been able to hit my short irons very accurately, and these clubs have made my short game even better! The club head feels really solid and it really cuts through the rough when you miss the fairway. The long irons are a little harder to hit, and mis-hits result in a low shot with just a slight loss of distance. Edwin Watts is closing these clubs out for $349 or pick up a nice set on eBay for even less! Nothing feels better than a shot hit flush on the sweetspot of these clubs! Trust me, if you have a decent swing and are looking for feel, get rid of your clunky oversized clubs and buy these blades! You don't have to be a single digit handicapper to play these beautiful clubs. P.S. I compared these to the Mizuno Pros and they feel the same, except these clubs cost half the price!!

I recently got fed up with my cheap starter set of oversized clubs, and was attracted by the apperance of the "better golfer" forged or blade type clubs. I tried out a few sets of these finer sticks and found that they did punish me for poorly executed swings, but the feel of even mediocre shots lured me in an I had to have a set(the Mizunos felt bay far the best). I have been playing only a year(mabey 6 full rounds and 10 9 hole outings) and the only reason I stay in the high 90's is because of my abliity make shots from 50 yards in and good putting on the green. (my friends tell me that half of my battle is fought) I decided to purchase these challenging clubs because they have forced me to actually adjust my swing to make better shots, instead of hiding it's faults behind a perimiter weighted paddle. There smallish size really intensifies my focus on the ball, and the pure thud of a well struck shot drives me to stay longer at the range. I didn't truely believe that the feeling of one club from another could actually be of any concequence, but I was wrong. Once I had the shafts lengthened an inch to fit my 6'5" frame, my shanks shrank and I now strike the ball just as well as before with the helper clubs. I anticipate a signifigant game improvement in the upcomming months, and I am having a lot of fun with the process, and isn't that the point?

Customer Service

No experience, but Edwin Watts seems to be a reputable outfit.

I was skeptical at first when I took a set out as loaners. I generate a good deal of clubhead speed and this can obviously lead to inconsistencies in my swing. I wanted to go to the next level and become a better golfer so I was advised to try these clubs because it would lead to 1 of 2 things: 1-Continue to make bad swings and pay the price, or 2-Make corrections to your swing and "groove" the swing and reap the benefits this club offers. My first experience on the driving range was less than spectacular. I kept at it and what I noticed was that I was getting 10 yards more distance per club (minimum) on flush hits....and was loosing likewise when I swung poorly and made bad contact. What this has done is made me work on my swing more and I can not emphasize how much better I am striking the ball. This club feels SO smooth and sweet when you hit it flush. It's like a knife through butter. I know this is a common expression but believe me the feeling is so pure! The feedback you get from these irons is incredible. If you miss...you know exactly what you did (either toe, heel, thin, or fat). These clubs also let you "work" the ball and you can pretty much do what you mean to do! Knockdown shots into the wind and effortless and these irons do "allow YOU to hit the ball a long way when you strike it PROPERLY!" This is not a game-improvement club in the traditional sense...this club MAKES YOU improve your game. By far the best investment I have ever made. The guys that I play with regularly always want to hit these irons because of the feel you get. And the best part is, that for clubs of this type...they are rather forgiving (within reason). If you want to go out there and swing as hard as you can and go for broke...these irons are not for you...stick to the cavity-backs. If you want to become a better golfer and learn to play the game well...these are the sticks for you. The minimal offset on these irons takes the guess work of where you are going to hit your ball. If you are drawing it...you will know exxactly how much without the aid of progressive offsettings. The only drawback I have with these irons that I have yet to resolve is that the PW is not as strong as my old set of Pro Series X-12's. The feel is great, and the chips around the green are dead accurate but the distance is about 10 yards less that my old set. Oh well...I am sure I will "iron" this minor detail out as I improve. GET THESE STICKS...You will not regret it! IN all actuality...you will probably ask yourself what took you so long to make the right move! Enjoy....and one more thing...I know this article is long...but you guys at Mizuno Golf have done one hell of a job with these beauties!

These are good clubs if your in the forged irons. Of couse if you want these irons you need to be a good ball stiker. If your a good ball striker and want to have good control over the ball. Buy them!!!!!

P.S. Don't buy them if your not a good ball striker stick with casting irons.

Was looking to get rid of my overated titleist 962's for a forged set of clubs due to it's time to play golf the right way!. Purchased mizuno trues banking on the mizuno reputation and pro's advice and was not dissapointed at all. These clubs are wonderful. The DCI 962'S aren't in the same league. The hardest part about buying mizuno's is which club to purchase. All of them are far and above any on the market.

I played Nicklaus Muirfield's for many years before switching over to the True's. These irons have an extremely soft feel especially when shafted with Sensicore.I had a bit of adjustment time
with the shafts, but once I got used to them I fell in love with the buttery feel off the clubface. I found these irons easy to hit as they have a much larger head than the Muirfield's. Only knock on these clubs is the offset in the shorter irons. I have not been able to get any pure data and I did not realize it when I purchased these irons, but it seems from about the 8 iron to the wedge, there is a minimal offset. I find this very suprising as I could understand the offset in the long irons, but not the scoring irons!! Regardless, the eye doesn't lie and you can see it at address. So, I have traded them in and am awaiting a set of MP29's. I have yet to hit the MP29's but from all I can read they are the club. The True's are very nice looking and at the price you can scoop them up at right now, a great buy. Distance is at least one club longer than other irons I have hit due to very strong lofts (about 2 degrees stronger than Pro and MP14, and the same as MP29). In general they served me well.

Customer Service

Very accomodating.

I switched to these clubs about three years ago from the first Taylor Made tour blade. I hit a lot of different irons before I made my decision and these were it. I feel very confident over them at set-up, I can hit it high or low, high spin, and can work like a true blade. I admit these are not for everyone. Many friends who are single digit handicaps cannot hit. Must fit your swing and game. They work for me. Looking to switch to either Titleist tour forged irons or the Mizuno MP-33.

My first set of blades and had no problem to hit these irons. Great feel. Nice balance, great look and distancewise a 1/2 club longer than my Revolutions. The only thing is the PW and the 9 iron. I don´t like the offset on these 2 clubs, but I can deal with that. Buy them!!!

This is the best set of irons I've ever played. For the price at which you can buy these irons now, you can't go wrong buying them. People think that only pro's can play forged irons, but this set can be played by players of any handicap. You better pick up your set before they get gone. I got mine at Edwin Watts for 349$ with Dynamic Gold Sensicore Steel.
