Bought with Rifle shafts 5.5 and didn''t like them, they had no feel and faded a bit on me. Sent them straight back to Mizuno and had 5.0 Rifle shafts put in. They are great.I had Callaway X12 for the last 3.5years and good clubs they are too from the fairway at any rate. They were a bit light for chipping and out of the rough. The Mizuno''s are stronger lofts by 2 degrees so are half a club longer. I''ve not hit a better club. I''m off ten handicap. the Callaways are for sale already!

Customer Service

Took ten days to have reshafted. No charge.Mind you I paid top dollar for them in the first place.

irons w/ riffle shaft, can hit further and more accuracy than my previous cast irons. strike balls very crispy and solid. Nothing to complain and already like those irons even just purchased for less than one month and played two round only.

Customer Service

take three weeks to receive the set from manufacturer. Kind of too slow.

Now I understand why everyone raves about forged clubs. The feel of a well struck ball feels so solid with these clubs. There is no comparison to my old set of cast irons. These clubs are long, forgiving, consistent, and deadly accurate. It is simply a matter of execution in my swing to stick the ball close to the pin with these babies. I am so happy with the decision I made with these clubs after having played them for about 2 months now. You can get forged for the same price as cast, they are easily adjusted (lie, loft, etc) as your swing or game changes, and they feel so, so sweet. I also think these are very nice looking clubs and they give me a lot of confidence at address just looking at them.

These steel shaft irons are awesome! Very straight, lends softly & has fantastic feel. No difference in distance from my S-yard forged irons. You can feel the club head much more. Quite forgiving. Highly recommended.

first forged set I''ve bought. These are extremely consistent in the yardage each club hits (unlike the calloways). The cavity back design has as much forgivness as any cast club I''ve played, The wedges are deadly accurate. I''d recommend them to any one that shoots mid 90''s or lower.

I have been playing cast clubs for 20 years - have basically been a Titleist man. I traded in a set of graphite shafted 981''s for the steel MX-20''s after trying the Mizuno''s at a demo day at my course. Very simply - there is no contest! I will never go back to cast irons again. The forged feel is so dynamite it makes you want to take them to bed. The added advantage of forged is that you can bend them to suit your tastes whereas you CANNOT do this with cast clubs. Furtheremore, THESE clubs appear to have the same forgiveness that made the cast clubs so popular. In summary: The price is right, the feel is right, the custome potential is right and the forgiveness is right. What ARE you doing with those ratty outdated cast irons anyway?

First off, if you have never hit a forged iron, do yourself a favor and go try them! I had played the COMP EZ irons for about two years, and I was told that they were going to be discountiued by Mizuno. My first though was, HOW COULD THEY? I then asked, what are they going to replace them with. I recently tried the MX20 at a pro shop. They certainly looked different, but how much different could they play? I WAS SHOCKED! They are ten times more forgiving then the COMP EZ irons and longer. I normally hit a seven iron about 160, with the new MX 20 irons I am hitting my seven iron about 175. They are getting a little too long for me, I allready have three wedges, what next four, five.... I would suggest these to anyone who is looking to improve their game as well as someone who can regularly break 100. They are forgiving, but not like the 2" soles and cavities of Callaway or something close to that. If you are a player who just wants the ball to go straight and you don''t care what it feels like or how they ball went straight, DO NOT get these. These clubs will tell you what you did wrong every time. A truly great "learning club". I have the Dynalite Gold shafts and they work very well for me. Mizuno has even classed up the grips by eliminating the bright white MIZUNO on the grip to a very tame and pleasant gray Mizuno. Clubs are sooooo nice to look at. I would have to say if you are looking for a very good game improvement iron, look no further. If you regularly shoot in the low-mid 80''s, these will work for you, if you shoot anything lower, try the MP 33 irons by Mizuno.

These irons are unbelievable! I''m a mid-handicapper (mid teens) and finally gave up the mushy Big Berthas. These have a great look, less offset, crisp forged feel, and surprising forgiveness. Lots of weight in the bottom make your thin shots not-so-bad. I''m telling you, if you''re a mid-handicapper looking to make a step away from big, offset, hacker irons, you gotta try these things. They''re unbelievable. I bought them at a golf shop in Oakland, Ca. for $499! If you''re looking for any clubs, I would call this shop. I don''t have the number handy but they''re prices are ridiculous and they''re legit.

Excellent club. Increased my yardage by 10-15 yds. Very sweet. Ball got up in the air quick and stuck to the green. Hit more greens than before.
