What can I say about this club. I got this set last year as a father's day gift. First it is one of the most beautiful looking iron set I have seen. I started with this set having handi of 16 and I've had nothing but success with this club. 3 iron is still little tough to hit but teeing up is no problem. They are very long and pretty forgiving. Well struck shot feel awsome. It hits strong wind piercing ball. People who like to work the ball would have no problem with this stick. It like to hit a high ball but no balloning at all. I recommand DG shaft to keep the ball little low. After one full year I still love the iron, it had several competition but it has with stand all of them so far. Next week I have KZG ZO coming, I will compare them side by side. Every other month I buy new stick trying to dethrown MP30 out of my bag and so far MP30 came up winner in every which way. Buy one use and enjoy the iron. Sure new iron looks great but with soft Miz forging iron will look like year old after couple of round. So buy them use !!

I purchased these irons at Christmas as a gift to myself. First time to hit them was in April after laying off golf since October. Boy I thought I made a serious mistake. Couldn't hit them at all. I had been playing Cleveland TA5's, a very forgiving, low-feedback set of irons for about 3 years. The Mizuno's are no where near as forgiving as the Clevelands. After about 4 rounds, I gave up on the Mizunos and took out the Clevelands. After grooving my swing from the winter layoff, I decided to try the Mizuno's again. Man am I glad I did. I have lowered my handicap from 12 to 8.5 as of June 20th. Instead of shooting low to mid 80s, I'm now shooting mid to high 70's. I can't say enough about these irons. Although I have not hit numerous other irons, I would be shocked if any performed as well as these. Thanks Mizuno. Oh by the way, I had these shafted with the Project X Rifle shafts, also highly recommended.

Only others irons I have used are the Cleveland TA5's. Very good iron for the mid-high handicap player.

I just purchased the 3-PW set and it is an understatement to say they are amazing. I have the S300 shafts which work well with my powerful swing. I went and got them fit in which the standard setting was ideal for me. These clubs look SO GOOD or as I would say "money" at setup and you can work the ball whatever way you choose on a regular basis. To say when you hit the ball it feels like "a hot knife through butter" is also an understatement as you don't even feel the ball through impact! My iron play has improved tenfold as I was using a Cavity Back club and this is my first set of forged. I hit more GIR then ever before and have more legitimate chances at birdies then I ever have. Awesome clubs, whoever doesn't have these is missing out.

Customer Service

Great.

These clubs are fantastic if you are fit properly. I highly recomend speaking with a Mizuno rep before your purchase. Check the Mizuno website to find a demo day near you. The clubs "standard specifications" are designed for the Japanese population. Therefore, the shaft length is short, the lie is flat and the grips are small. Five minutes with a Mizuno rep and you will be all dialed in for fit. From there, they can help you match your swing to the right shaft. I recomend the Dynamic Gold Lite S-300 for this club. However, if you have a swing speed over 100 or prefer to "muscle" your swing than you might like the straight S-300 better. The quality of forging on these clubs is superior to anything else I've tried. They are not as beefy as some of the other clubs and therefore I lost about five yards comparitvely. However, what I gained in location, accuracy and uncompareable feedback more than made up for the five yard distance. I highly recomend these clubs to anyone who hits the ball well and is looking to move their game to the next level.

I have these irons for less than two months and already made a hole in one with them (the first time after 17 years playing golf). Can't say enough about them. They are the sweetest and easiest forged cavity I have ever hit period. I used to play MP-14s and T-Zoid Pros but never had this kind of confidence with those sets. They set up real nice through out the set. My problem with the T-Zoid Pros was the look of Pitching Wedge but the MP-30 wedge looks really nice. My previous irons were X-14 Pro Series and they were terrible. My game went down hill for the last couple years until I found these MP-30s. I didn't lose much distance may be 5 yards max each clubs comparing to X-14 Pro Series which I do mind since I can hit the MP-30s much straigther. I used to pull a lot of shot (especially shot irons) with the X-14s. However, with these irons I can hit them straigth everytime. I can feel the clubhead better through out my swing. The 3 and 4 irons are a little difficult to hit but managable. Anything from 5 iron down are awesome. I can pretty much aim at the target and swing away. I really recommend them to any golfer that want to improve their game even the beginner.

I am a golf club techy. Recently had a professional fitting (hitting balls on the range with the latest fitting equipment, etc)to ensure proper specs. After much research, I picked the Mizuno MP 30 irons as they are forged and nice clean look. Went with Rifle 5.5 shafts and Tour Wrap grips (slightly oversized). My first three rounds were 79, 75 and 73 plus an eagle (full 9 iron in the cup). Can't say enough positive things about these irons--sweet and accurate.

Customer Service

Ordered the irons from a local golf/fitting shop. No problems. All clubs match the specs provided.

This set has just replaced my much loved Aussie Blades. I cannot say anything bad about these irons at all. They are a bit more forgiving than the excellent Mizuno muscle back irons but maintain all of the great feel and accuracy. I have gained a bit of distance per club to which I will need to adjust. If you have been thinking about a forged iron, but are not ready to make the leap to blades, these are your clubs. They perform at an unbelievable level throughout the set. You will watch shot after shot (provided you make good contact) sail off at a mid to lowish trajectory and land softly, THE SAME DISTANCE AWAY. Incredibly consistent and accurate. I bought these clubs at a local shop for $599.00. The price included a Mizuno glove, a dozen precept balls (the good ones), and a membership to a local public course (1/2 off all rounds and range balls). Pretty good deal, the next cheapest in my area was $649.00 and NOTHING ELSE.
