Been playing these irons for about 2.5 months and found some interesting results. First of all, the mid to long irons (3,4,5,6,7) are very, very forgiving and easy to hit with a smooth confident swing...the best I've tried to date... and this includes Ping ISI with z-z65 and JZ shafts, Ram FX tour grind Nickel (although they have a sweet feel too), mizuno pros (also very good). The interesting part for me is the scoring clubs (8,9,PW) are a muscleback design that is not quite as accurate as I'd like. This is probably unique to my swing, but I also noted that the little chips around the green were giving me problems with the A10 pitching wedge. So as an experiment I found an old Wilson 1200 gear effect radial sole PW from a hodgepodge set I bought on ebay and, you guessed it, my touch around the greens improved immensely. Hmmm, why not try this Wilson 1200 GE for some full shots on the course? You guessed it again, the Wilson PW was way more accurate than the Maxfli PW and I stuck at least 4 PW's in birdie range today (of course I missed every putt, even the 4 footer). So, although overall I'd give the A10's high marks, the long irons I feel are what make the set worth the money. Shorter clubs perform above average on full swings but didn't feel all that great in the chipping and pitch shot range. Overall, I'm rating these clubs 5 stars, but my real feeling is 4.5. I may be reviewing a full set of Wilson 1200 gear effect clubs soon, so stay tuned. Customer Service Not used. Similar Products Used: Ram fx tour grind nickel, Ping ISI, Mizuno Pro forged |

Sold My MP33's online and took the $500 to buy these irons and don't regret it for a second! The 33's were great clubs, but a little more than I could handle. These A10's have amazing feel and the mid-long irons are quite forgiving. These are great irons for players who want something with more feedback than callaway, but don't feel comfortable with the classic blade. Only regret is I have the riffle 6.5 shafts and would probably be better off with 6.0 or even 5.5, nobody to blame but my own ego. I've been shooting in the low 80's for the last 6-8 months, I play twice a week. I recently started keeping up with my green and fairways hit, writing down were I lost a stroke on each hole. I was missing too many greens either left or right. I was timid to purchase the blades because I've never played a set. These are a difference maker, i've heard that blades are straighter if you can hit them and I don't see how anyone could not hit these. To use someone else's quote, "its like slicing butter", you don't feel the ball hit the club. if you're interested try the golfclubexchange.com, very nice auction site with great buyer protection. A deal for the price which paid for which comes with a matching golf bag and a box of golf balls. The original sensicore "S" was too stiff for me to handle. After reshafting to the TX-90, I managed to hit the ball pretty well. I got about 10% more distance from my previous Hogan Apex Plus. Club head design is handsome and aligns very well at setup. A nice combo set to own but too bad that Taylor Made has decided to discontinue this line of product. Customer Service Excellent. Similar Products Used: Hogan Apex Plus. |

I've had these for a year now. These are great clubs. My HC dropped from 12 to 9 after I got these. I shot my best ever with a 76 this year. I've always played cavity backs before. I'm glad I changed to this hybid set. I can do so much more with these consistently. Hit it Hi, Lo, L to R & R to L. Short irons are consistent & can easily be shaped. It blends into my Cleveland wedges beautifully. Long irons can be hit hi & land soft. No goofy offsets to compensate for, so you just hit it. I think the lack of offset will also reduce shanking as well. The sole has more radius from front to back, this helps the club head from digging in. Playing in Vancouver, BC; sometimes can be a bit moist. The feel of these clubs w the sensicore are fantastic. The look is clean, simple & beautiful. Can't ask for more. It really justifies 5 stars. |

I bought these clubs with Rifle 5.0 as an upgrade on my old Hogan Apex Plus irons, which served me well for the past 2 years. They are better clubs in every aspect. Long irons have a high trajectory and stop well on greens. Short irons have excellent feel and match perfectly with my wedges. The rifle shafts are a perfect match for these clubs.. Could not be happier with these! Workmanship from the factory was excellent also. I checked the lofts/lie angles/lengths of every club in the set and they were all very consistent which is more than you can say for some manufacturers. I bought these babies 8wks ago, and i can say these are one of the nicest clubs i have used. Played with TM before and decided to upgrade. Tried many clubs and when i saw the A10's on offer i gave them a shot. IMHO i found a 1 club increase in distance from my old set. The biggest change i noticed was in the feel of each club and the amount of spin you get from the PW upto the 8 iron. Tried the MX20 these too are also a good set irons, but for me the A10's edged it. The A10's look, feel and perform great and i highly recommend them, but my advice would be to try them out for yourself before you buy and before they are all gone. Would never have thought of trying these till I gave a friend of mines set a try in a match. First game out never having hit them before I was -2 for 15 holes to win a scratch match 6 & 5. As Maxfli have stopped making these they are very cheap at the moment. I paid £265 for 3 - P and think they are great. Good feel from all irons, the blade short irons feel great, and the long iron cavity is not huge, so you get a good idea if you are hitting it well. The Nickel coating really makes these feel as soft as forged. Just need to get mine bent a few degrees upright and the grips changed from the standard Tour Velvets that I'm not that keen on and they will be perfect. Best golfing bargain there is at the moment if you can find a set. Customer Service Not tried Similar Products Used: MP33, MP30, TM300, 690CB |
