Best irons I've ever played... I'm glad I give this a try and it will stay in my bag for as long as the groove will hold. Truely exceptional set of irons.

I bought these on the recommendation from this site - So what else can I add to all the other reviews on here - Only to add to the momentum that these are truly wonderful clubs - the long irons are forgiving - the full blade shorter irons are deadly accurate - great trajectory - workability - spin control - The feeling of forged with the durability of cast - I shoot in the 80's only due to my woeful putting. Not a complaint but get the lofts and lies checked as with all manufacturers they do vary even straight from the factory.

These are the best irons I've ever played, (similar view to frankgolf below). Previously used revolution irons which were also fantastic but find these provide a better trajectory, especially in the long irons. The short irons have a low boring trajectory and the long irons go high - what more could you want! Just a question for others out there - how do you all find the Rifle 5.5's? I had TT S300's in my revo's which were great, but the rifle 5.5's seem a bit softer, and I find they sometimes draw a bit much when you really go after one. They're fantastic when you swing smooth though. I'd never used rifles before so was just wondering what others have experienced. You can email me at ggolinski@optusnet.com.au

Best irons i have played. I have shot to rounds of 62 with these irons, and they are still in my bag. Shame that TaylormadeAddidas stoped making these clubs.

After reading the reviews and watching e-bay for 2 years I finally found the sleeper deal @ $128.00. Played one round so far and must say these are all they are reported to be. I was previously playing Top Flite XL2000's so it took a couple of holes to get used to the smaller heads and lack of offset. The XL2000's got me into the 80's and I felt it was time to start learning how to shape shots. Very tough with the XL's as every thing tends to be long and straight, which isn't a bad thing. I don't find these any longer, and not as forgiving, but the feel of a well struck ball and the ease at which you can fade and draw the ball are incredible. on the fourth hole I hit a 4 iron into the wind about 185 and found my ball 2 feet past the divot and about 3 feet from the hole...and the greens were semi-frozen! Thats when I knew these were clubs to grow with. I am really excited to play them in decent weather.

I bought these used at a local shop in Portland, but since I live in Portland it may be a few months before I actually get to use them on the course (it tends to rain a little bit here!). I really have more of a question for A10 owners- is there anyplace I can get the standard lofts of these irons? Maxfli's website does not have anything on their old irons and Taylor Made's support staff was no help. Can anyone help me?

Customer Service

Taylor Made claims to have no specs on any Maxfli irons.

Got these used on ebay for cheap and I couldn't be much happier with them. They came with Precision Rifle 5.5 that works great for me. I may have lost a few yards with this shaft but I gained so much accuracy that it I'm shooting in the high 70s. I can work my shots, high, low, fade or draw. The nickel crome is so soft that the lie was easy to adjust. I'm staying with these for a very long time. I'd recomend these to anyone that is ready to advance and score more.

I've played about 10 rounds with the A-10s. Very forgiving longer irons, muscle back 8,9,PW are great scoring clubs. Used Ping eye 2 for years, still a great club, but the A-10s are much better around the green. I see why the reviews are so High with this club.

Recently purchase these irons (used)(stiff shaft) Paid 119.00 for the set, could not pass up these beautiful clubs at that price. These irons have great balance, nice feel, with combo blade, and CB 3-6irons. I've played only about 4 rounds with these irons...with rounds in high 70s, low 80s. I will be sticking with this set for a long time. Future reviews coming....

I've always like the way blades set up behind the ball, but I'm not a great ball striker, and have been afraid to invest in blades. when I saw this club, I feel in love with them. So off i went to trade in my Hogan Edge, with a regular flex shaft for a set...the set i found had a DG S300 shaft that scared me since i had been playing regular flex clubs. decided to take a chance since thay were only $250 used....with the heavier shafted DG with sensicore , I could feel the head much better during my swing. and i'm around one club longer with these. I've hit more greens in the time i've had these, than i have in a long time, they're soft, forgiving, and with the sensicore, i feel hardly any vibrations on off center hits.....give them a try, dont think you'll regret it
