I enjoy the hunt for the right club that is easy to hit and affordable. To each his own in this quest for the right equipment but let me share the latest in this quest.I have been on a 2 year hunt to upgrade my ageing Wilson GE's and in the process have gone thru quite a few clubs in search for the one's made for me.I am a high handi capper over 50 and of small frame and an avid slicer. What I discovered was Cobra made affordable clubs that are easy to hit.I have a M Speed driver 3 & 5 woods & Baffler Hybird 4 and a set of cobra 3100 & callaway x-18's.I went to Demo Days event and went straight to the cobra display where Chris[Cobra Rep] let me hit both Titlest and Cobra clubs to my hearts content or untill my elbow gave out.I hit everything they had graphite steel you name it and what I discovered was the S9 is in short an amazeing set of golf clubs. At the end of the day I was so impressed with the results of the S9's it was a perfect match for other Cobras in my bag.Chris put me on board I hit a 7 iron 5 times and you could have put a blanket over all 5 shots at the 150 yard marker that was amazeing and I did that no kidding what a feeling consistent high ball flight.Strong lofts feel blah blah blah get a vokey 52 and 56 and take your game to a new level I am and can't wait.I had the local Pro at the Country Club special order my custom clubs with adjusted lofts and we discovered they would install a 90 gram Nippon steel shaft and the grip of your chooseing,I stuck with the Golf Pride Tour Velvet with the Cobra Logo.Well that is all I have to say about that to each his own but if you want to cover the distance from the middle of the fairway effortlessly and affordably to the green try out your clubs have the fitted and enjoy the ride I can't wait to play these S9's huge improvement over anything I have hit to date.Good luck in Your quest for success on the course.

Just purchased these today from the PGA store for $583. Took them out to the range and I have never hit so straight and far. My previous iron sets were BH-5s and Nike NDS. The Cobra S9s are the best I have ever used. My friend that plays Mizuno M25s was very impressed at the feel and how easy it was to hit the Cobras straight.

Have found these irons to be phenomenal so far. Got fitted for them in February and have already used them quite a bit. I bought the hybrid/baffler instead of the 3 iron and it is unbelievable. I would highly recommend getting the hybrid with this set of irons.

I bought these irons from the pro at the Enniscrone golf club, Ireland, after reading a very positive review. I found these clubs are brilliant. Great feel and forgiveness. For example I had an old 6 iron from my first set of Hippo's that are about 10 years old. I hit 3 shots with the old 6, averaging about 155/160. Then hit 3 shots with the s9 and was amazed, got another 10 yards from them if not more. Hit the 5 iron nearly 200 yards. Thats more than some people can hit their driver. Yes, I am a very satisfied golfer. Have to get used to the new distances I am reaching. If you are reading this and looking to start playing golf, or are struggling with your own clubs, get these. My human errors are still there, many will be, I play off 18. Dont expect these to be life changing, just score changing!

These are the most friendly & most forgiving clubs I played with. The clubhead and GD graphite shaft are the perfect combination for distance, control and feel(like forged irons).
Great value for the bucks.

Ive never hit an iron that was so perfect in every way. I normally hit my 6 iron 160 to 165 yards... I picked up the 7 iron in this set and with ease hit the shot 170 yards on the first hit. I was soooo pleased I bought the clubs right then and there. I took these puppies or should i say "cobras" out to the range and found it difficult to hit a bad shot! I mean, I would have to want to hit a bad shot to have one. These clubs have such a nice feel and action to them that I feel like im cheating when using them. Soooo effortless and the result is sooo amazing. If your in the market for irons, don't pass these up.

Most forgiving irons I have ever played. Great feel with consistant distance, trajectory and accuracy. 4-GW is perfect combo. Luv GW, place your shot 100 yds out from the green, GW will place you in the middle of the green every time.
Irons look great and 55gr shafts with weighted sole give a great trajectory. Swing weight allows for a smooth swing with rewarding results.
