Cobra Interia Irons 3100IH
Pros: Beautiful looking irons Relatively inexpensive ($450) vs others Forgiving with High Launch Cons: Muted Feel and Sound Too High Launch Thick looking a address I have owned this irons for about 2 weeks and have taken them out for 27 holes and have hit them every day on the range so far. Good clubs but not exactly what I need or want. I was looking for a set of forgiving irons and these are definitely forgiving. However, because they are so forgiving, they do not seem as precise. The feeling is somewhat muted and you can not "work the ball" as well. Consistency slightly increased but some precision is lost. Out of a set of 10 balls, they all fall in the same general pattern, after hitting each ball, I can not be certain exactly where in the general circle it will land. Also, I normally hit the ball high, but the launch angle for the entire set is VERY VERY high. I can see them really helping someone who has problems getting the ball airborne. I had a set of MacGregor Forged Combo irons before. They were harder to hit but when you did strike it pure, you really knew it and the ball would go perfectly. I really am starting to miss them. I would recommend these irons for someone who has problems 1) getting the ball airborne 2) with consistency with their ball contact. Customer Service Roger Dunn is great at accepting clubs for trade and allowing you to play for 90 days. Similar Products Used: Mac Gregor Combo Irons Cleveland TA7 Wilson Deep Red Irons Callaway X18 |
