I have been playing these irons for only a couple of days, but I have put them through a lot of shots and rounds already. I'm about a 3 or 4 handicap, and untill this week, I had been playing blades(Vulcan Custom Blades...really nice). I never thought I would have switched back to cavity backs, but here I am. These are the best feeling cavity back irons on the market..and I've played them all(I work in a proshop). I can work the left, right, up and down. Distance control is amazing as well. The only problems I'm having now, is learning how to line up properly with offset clubs again. No big deal. I would reccomend these to any golfer looking for a little more consistency in their game. These clubs also shouldn't be shunned by the low handicapper, they really do feel and play great! My applause to Cleveland! Customer Service Haven't had to deal with them yet. I love the TA7's. I play for a high school team and have seen a dramatic change in my scores. I used to shoot in the high 90's and now i am shooting in the mid to low 80's. The irons feel and set up very nicely. I have hit the Adam's, Tommy Armour's, and Ben Hogans and the TA7's cleary blow them all out of the water. I would definetly reccomend them to any golfer. Customer Service VEry Good. I will continue to deal with Cleveland and Wheat Road golf. www.wheatroadgolf.com Similar Products Used: Ben Hogans Apex Plus irons, Tommy Armour EVo irons,Adams irons |

TA7
First round with the TA7s today. They are custom fit (see customer service) and are an inch over and 2 degrees upright with the TT Release stiff shafts. I am still working on dialing in the distance, but they seem about half a cllub longer than the COBRA irons I was playing before. The major difference is the feel of the ball off the face - if you are off center a little bit, direction is still solid, but just a little short. Shots in the sweetspot (which is prety big) are like butter. The club setup offers confidence in lining up the ball and a nice smooth swing will get you what you want. I also added a 51* gap wedge and 57* sand wedge to the set and both are dead on target. Weight and balance are much better than the old clubs. Well worth the investment, as it feels like these can take me to lower scores as I clean up my swing. Highly recommended... Customer Service The TA7s are in high demand that they have been running 4 - 6 weeks behind in production. The Cleveland tech van was scheduled here in Atlanta. I went in and was fit by the Cleveland staff and they ma Similar Products Used: I hit most comparable irons - TM 320 and 200, Titelist 762, X14, Adams GT. The next closest were the 762''s but these seemed easier to hit consistently. |

Cleveland TA-7
I received my TA7''s this week, and after 4 rounds I couldn''t be happier! Any worries while I''ve waited (see customer service) have evaporated. My old clubs (13 yrs) were Hogan Edge. When I went to the range with a handful of 6 irons (Thanks, Nevada Bobs!) and my 5 iron, my 5 was shortest by 10 yards. Went back to the store and bought Titleists 822''s.... but woke up the next morning remembering how amazed I was every time I hit the TA7''s....CONSISTENT direction and distance. The 822''s were longer (sometimes) but I could count on the distance and direction of the TA7''s. Called the store back and switched my order to Cleveland (after all, how much extra distance do I need?). On the course with the set, they''re hitting about even on wedge, to almost 2 clubs more at 4 iron. Don''t need a gap wedge, to my relief. And the best part is their consistency! I hit five 4 irons today on a par 3, and they all were +/- 1 yard, with 14 yards dispersion!!!!! What a set of clubs! Customer Service These clubs are high demand; I complicated things by ordering 2 degrees upright. After the projected leadtime with no clubs N-Bob''s and I contacted Cleveland; they traced the order, gave me a new dat Similar Products Used: I tested Titelist 822 stiff and regular, Titleist 762, Ping I3 Blade and OS, and TA7''s |

TA7''s
Played the Wilson Fat Shafts before switching to the TA7''s. Three noticable differences from my Fat Shafts; 1)great feel off clubface, 2) at least one club longer, 3) great improvement in my long irons (straight, long, good loft). The TA7''s are by far and away the best clubs I have ever hit. Took a little getting used to the progressive offset and had to move the ball a little back in my stance. I think I''ll be able to play these clubs for may years. No question, a 5 star club. |

TA-7
I was in the market for some solid clubs that would help get me to the next level. Not improve my game so to speak, but to grow with me and highlight the improvements in my game. After a month long saga of hitting club after club from Mizuno to TM and literally everything in between that appealed to me I bought these. I hit them pretty well in the store (don''t we all) but one thing that was noticable was the trajectory. It was higher than with other clubs, but carry distance wasn''t sacrificed. I have trouble getting the ball airborn and that was one attribute I was looking for. Plus its a beautiful club. Anyway, I take them out to the range and the course for weeks and it looks like I''m hitting marshallows! Ball is going nowhere! Now I''m sick just thinking about the quality clubs I left in the store. I work on my game and get my swing back and now the ball is just flying. Now I am seeing the benefits of these clubs and the consistency they provide. I recommended Cleveland to a buddy and he liked the TA-5, but went with the 7''s and loves them. Feel is important and these provide excellent feel. But just like with any product, you have people who swear by it and people who wouldn''t take it if you gave it away. Be sure to do your homework and SHOP! Shop and Shop. Most importantly is to make up your OWN mind. The golf salesman won''t be teeing it up for you on Saturday! Customer Service Excellent. Available when I called with questions and when my Cleveland bag had a defect in the lining, they told the store to exchange it and they would take care of it. Can''t go wrong with Clevelan |

Cleveland TA 7
I''ve been looking for the ideal mid-handicap iron and I think I''ve found it. The TA 7''s are great irons. For cast clubs, the feel is amazing. When you mis hit it you''ll know by the sound and the feel, but the ball will go straight, but just not as far (obviously). The top line is a little thick and I''m not a fan of that, but you get used to it after you hit the ball so well. The club head is not oversized (like the Mizuno MX 20), but it has more hitting surface than say the Titilest 762 (which are also nice, just a little more advanced) because of a higher heel. The ball just rifles off of the club face with a nice boring ball flight. I''m able to get my 3 iron up in the air with distance. The PW is around 45 degrees, which means you need a gap wedge, but most people have those anyway. These clubs are forgiving, yet they are not huge and bulky. I feel that I can use these for years to come. Their not those type of clubs which you need to replace one you continually shoot in the 80s. It is possible to shape your shots with these irons, as the off set is not that bad...say compared to the Callawy X 14s. Over all I''m very happy with these and waiting a month to get them was well worth it. I''ve finally found the right irons for my game. Customer Service Due to the success of these irons, Cleveland didn''t have enough of them with my specs, so I had to wait a month to get them, but it was well worth it.t Similar Products Used: Callaway X 14, Mizuno MX 20, Taylor Made 300/320 and tested the Titleist 762 |

Looking for a new set of irons I was determined to leave no stone unturned in my quest to find the perfect iron for me, regardless of price. I tested the Ben Hogan Apex line, the Taylormade 300 line, Ping i3, the new Titleist DCI line, Callaway, Adam GT''s - you name it. I spent over 3 hours and hit over 6 buckt of balls trying to identify the best iron. At the beginning, I was sure I''d determine that I would end up buying either one of the Ben Hogans or maybe the Taylor Made. I was very surprised to find myself coming back to the TA7 as the club to beat. The Ping i3s and the Taylor Made 320s were both a close second but the big different in my book was how solt each shot felt when hitting with the TA7s. There was so little vibration that I could have swung those babies all day. They were a delight to play with. Surprisingly, this soft feel didn''t seem to affect the playability of the club either. I could work the ball left or right at will. It seemed from reading these reviews that the majority find the TA7s to be a very good club. Maybe not the club for everyone, but a good club nevertheless. I was surpised to find one reviewer who thought that Cleveland made alot of money on these clubs and because of this salespersons were inclined to "push" the clubs to get their fat commissions. This makes no sense. While the Taylor Mades all listed for $699 in the pro shop, and the Ben Hogans were going for $749, the Clevelands were a steal for $599. I could not see any quality difference between the clubs. If anything, after testing the club, I was sure that it was one of the more expensive clubs. But, was suprised to find it one of the least expensive especially given that its quite new on the market. The salesperson also showed no interest in pushing one club over the other. So that just doesn''t make sense to me Customer Service Excellent. Very unpushy professional staff. Similar Products Used: Hogan Apex Edge Pro, Taylor Made 300, 320, Ping i3 |

I tried the Callaway pro series and Hogan Apex Pro Irons along with the TA7s. The TA7s were the most forgiving club of them all. The offset takes some getting used to and the grips are a bit slippery. Other than that they are great clubs. If I was shooting in the low 80s and hitting the ball a bit better I might of gotten the Hogans instead. |
