TA5 3-PW Steel R flex
I have played these for a couple years now after buying them used on ebay for $175. They are very forgiving and the long irons are easier to hit than any others I've tried. They lose less distance on thin shots than my previous irons. They probably don't feel as nice as some other clubs but I don't care. They work! This model is probably 4 or 5 years old, so I suppose I could find something even better by now, but I haven't been in a big hurry to repace them. Customer Service Not used. Cleveland TA 5 Graphite - Regular Flex
I started playing golf 3 years ago with a used set of Taylor Made - Tour Preferred Muscle Back. Great set of clubs but not very forgiving. Had a chance of trying out a set of cavity back clones early in the season and I liked the feel of how they hit and carried. Went to the local golf course for what I thought was demo days, turn out it was the following week. Started talking to the Pro and was discussing what I was looking for. He lent me some RAC's and TA5's to try out, when I got back from the range I really like the feel of the TA5's. I played with them all Summer and I found that I had very few errand shots even when I miss hit the ball with them. My errand shots are due to me not taken time to aim or trying something outside my normal swing. I could hit the ball almost anywhere within the grooved area and still get a fairly decent straight shot. I am getting better distance out these irons than my previous ones and I will have to say my game this Summer has improved but the forgiveness of these clubs gave me better chance of hitting the ball and getting greater distance out of the hit where the previous set would not. A very good set of clubs. Similar Products Used: King Cobra Clones Taylor Made RAC |

What a SWEEET set of irons. I have the Sensicore R flex, 2* upright and they are the best irons I have ever hit. I am a huge club junkie, and have owned and/or played just about everything. REALLY easy to hit, and very smooth. Factory lofts are cranked up a full club, which is fine with me. The price of $175 on Ebay (used) was right. Look really great too, not like the ugly picture shown above..... must be the newer model. Great feel, even with the sensicore. Easier to draw than to fade, not a big problemo. These irons are awesome! I have the steel shafts and they are still very lightweight. The grips are hard but still are fairly comfortable. The PW is short a couple degrees of loft so the purchase of a cleveland 52 degree gap wedge is a good purchase. All the irons are very forgiving and you can basically hit it anywhere on the club face and have a decent shot. They are good priced and easy to hit i havent regreted the purchase of these irons one bit. Similar Products Used: Titleist dci irons Ping i3 irons callaway x-14 irons |

I have played pretty much every set of irons around, and in truth, there are a lot of good ones out there. The TA-5 gunmetal irons are right in the thick of being in the top group in my opinion. The gunmetal finish is attractive and holds it's looks very well. In addition, it seems to soften up the feel somehow. These clubs are very nice especially around the greens for chipping and pitching. The VAS - or maybe it's the sensicore - really works too. When you hit the sweet spot it's like butter - I mean like the you never even feel the ball. Distance is very good - of course the lofts are pretty juiced, but other clubs are too these days. Just get a 50 degree gap wedge and get over it. I got mine on ebay for under $250 and let me tell you - these clubs play as well or BETTER than clubs I have paid 2 or 3 times that for. Cleveland would be well advised to bring these back into production. Customer Service Not used. Similar Products Used: If it's got a head on one end and a grip on the other - I've tried it. |

I got these irons off of E-bay for 330 and haven't looked back since... when shopping for irons i had a limit of 400 and it came down between a brand new set of these and a used set of taylormade 320's.. well obviously i selected these and haven't regretted it one bit... the only thing that is bad about this is the big gap in between your PW and SW and that is easily replaced w/ a GW.. and also when i was reading up reviews on these clubs i read alot about how the grips are horrible and they are anything but that.. These irons are wonderful, it is the first time I can hit my 3 iron long, high and straight. Beware of the PW which has a loft of 45 degr Get yourself a DW as well. These are much better than my other irons (Hogan Apex Edge). You can still get them at a good price. Be quick! Customer Service n/a Similar Products Used: Ben Hogan Apex Edge |

Great irons. Easy to hit, accurate and great feel. I hit everything before I bought these and for me, they are the best. I am now looking for a good deal on a Cleveland gap wedge and sand wedge. I can't believe Cleveland is not going to make these anymore. I bet they are back out within a year. TA5 3-PW steel shaft
These are some sweet and very reasonably priced irons. The feel is great and they are very forgiving. I will agree with previous reviews that the PW in this brand is really a 9-iron. So make the investment for a gap wedge since there is as much a 20-yard deficiency between your PW and your Sand wedge. The grips are hard and they can really tear up your hands when you are really working hard on your game on the range. The long irons in this set are some of the most forgiving I have ever come across. I can bang my 3-iron razor straight with an average distance ranging between 210-220 yards. If your new to the game or are tired of the real pricey models of irons give these a go they hold their own with the very best on the market! Customer Service I have never had to use it!
