LOVE, LOVE, LOVED them. I had the TA5 irons 3-PW for 3 years. LOVED them but sold them to buy the CG2 irons from Cleveland. Wish I had them back. They were Reg. Stiff shaft with sensicore the R300. I could hit them a mile. My 9 iron I could hit 150yrds and 5 iron 190 yrds. Miss them. Customer Service NOT USED. |

Bought these clubs off ebay for around $200cdn. They are worth every penny! Helps you hit every shot well even if the shot didnt feel very good. Cleveland name means you get a solid set of irons and at a good price since they are a few years old. Customer Service Havent dealt with CS. |

These clubs help improve my game. Well I was on the school team using some Purespin irons. They were good for the money(honestly they were). I need new irons bad and saw that at Sports Authority they had these for $299.99 but they were a deal because other stores want $399.99 for them. I read some of the reviews for these and noticed they are stronger by a few degrees. I put in a G-wedge 52* to fill the gap between PX and Sand Wedge. Well I wasn't looking for really expensive proline clubs. I wanted a set that will last for a while. Mainly I was looking for forgivness(but who isn't) but these are by far the most forgiving irons. My dad who soots in the 70's has some Cobra irons and he hit these and like the forgivness of these irons. I love these irons. The 4-iron normally goes like 190 but lately its been going 210 so sometimes they get a little more ummph on them. Customer Service GREAT HELP everywhere I really shopped around Similar Products Used: Purespin irons, Cobra, Older Titlist DCI, Tommy Armour 845 |

Cleveland TA-5 Reg Flex w/Sensicore Shafts
I'm heading into my 3rd year with these Irons and I can only say I love them more with each year. On a good day I can hit my 3 iron 210 but usually it hits around 190. The irons seem to be 5* strong on each club. I know the PW is about 45* so I added a 50* gap wedge and 56* sand wedge which works out perfect. The sensicore shafts are the best steel shafts I have found. I tried all the irons they had in the demo area at my local retailer and the only thing that came close to these at the time were the Callaway x-14's but the difference in price was about $400. Something about these just felt a little better. I ended up finding them on ebay brand new for $275. At the time they were selling at the local shop for $399.00. One of the best purchases I've ever made. Cleveland doesn't make these anymore so if you can't find them, try the TA6 or Launcher irons which are similar in design. Also, that ugly picture above looks nothing like most TA5 irons. That must be the very early version. Mine and all the newer ones are laser etched and beautiful! Customer Service never had to deal with them. Similar Products Used: Callaway X-14 steelheads, Cleveland Launcher Irons, Cleveland TA6 irons |

I bought these new a couple of months ago at Golf Galaxy for 249.00. I traded a set of used ta7 for them. I know the ta7 were a more expense set but I like the look of the lower profile ta5. Plus it didn't cost me hardly anthing to trade, I had bought the ta7 used. It was nice having a new set to keep nice. I like the lighter shaft in the ta5 (TT Actionlite compared to the TT Sensicore). The ta5's are long and very forgiving but the pw is strong, but I already had a GW. Shot 84 at a TPC course and 81,82,84 at local Muni. These are great rounds for me. This maybe over the top but I have read an couple of articles on the internet about this club being a classic and having a cult like following. Anyway time tested clubs with many good reviews from golfers and golf writers for a great price. TA5 with true temper SL R300
This is my 2nd set of iron and I cant seem to get rid of it. It's forgiving, soft, long and semi-consistent. Over the last few years, I have broken the 5 and 7 iron and the new true temper SL is now in all 8I. The SL is more consistent than the original release shaft. The long irons are probably one of the easiest iron I've hit. However, I did replace it with the 3 and 4 halo. The PW has also been replaced by the cleveland RTG 588 45° because of the chunky look of the stock PW. It's only a personal preference as i look the look of thinner top line. There is nothing wrong with the stock PW. this is a must buy. Customer Service didnt use it Similar Products Used: name it...i've probably tried it. |

I bought these clubs because they were in the bargain bin at Golf Galaxy for $250. I was shopping for new clubs with more offset and more forgiveness, because a slice had taken over my life. I hit these at the golf shop and fell in love. I hit these clubs longer and straiter than I have hit anything in a long time. I am especially impressed with the long irons. The ball just jumps off the club. I am playing better tee to green than I ever have. I also hit these clubs at least one club farther than my last set of Mizunos. They are like missles to the pins! great for all handicaps and nobody shouldnt get them.very easy to shape the shots. drawing and fading with these are easy and easy to just hit straight! These irons are dominant. I am coming off a set of Hogans, and the feel these provide are just incomparable. There is just a lot of metal in the club head which provides an incredibly soft. At the same time, the clubs feel very light and just perfect in my hands. These are a great club to get better fast with. Every moderate iron shot flies off the club face and is extremely forgiving. Not THE straightest irons I've ever played, but damn close... Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Hogan Apex Edge Forged, Copperhead Custom, Ping I3, Mizuno MP29 |
