Very good set of clubs. I tried all the clubs in the 400-500 range and these clubs felt the best. I am amazed at how the ball rockets off the face if I get it close to the sweet spot. These clubs give a lot of feedback and let you know when you mishit but you don't get penalized much. I think the sand wedge is awesome. I has made my short game. Cleveland TA5 chrome with Rifle shaft (5.5 flex)
I have played it for about a year. The low-profile center of gravity gives you the necessary forgiveness. Balls fly off club face straight, high and far, even from 3-iron. Not as forgiving as Ping i3 O-size though but much better than Supersteel. Incomparable with Titleist clubs as they are for advanced players. In terms of feel, much better than X12's and X14's but not as i3 O-size. It's definitely a value buy, 25% cheaper than i3 O-size without sacrficing much. The look is great although gunmetal is better. TA5 should give you at least 3 years of playing if you are a serious golfer. TA5 GunMetals
I'd like to to start out stating the difference between the TA5 Chrome and TA5 Gunmetal... They dont have the same feel because the shafts and grips are different on the GunMetals. Sensicore vs Traditional True Temper and grips are more like the new Golf Prides. So with that as the stage... Both TA5's are sweet clubs but with the GunMetals I bought, the feel is just better. TA5's are made to get the ball in the air and that it does... Mishits still go forward so it is definitely forgiving... but again if you test them make sure you have the Chrome and Gunmetal versions in your hands... there is more than a looks difference. No hesitation to recommend the both TA5's to anyone. I'll update you more as the play countinue... Customer Service none yet... After hitting several irons in the store the TA5s felt the best. I ordered them regular flex 2 degrees upright. While they were being shipped I played 18 with my old clubs and shot a 101. Ouch, bad even for me! I returned to the same course the day my clubs arrived and shot a 95. Can I atrribute the 6 shots to the clubs? I don't know for sure. But it is amazing how much of the shock these clubs absorb. Off center hits are much kinder that any club I have ever played. The TA5s have at least built up my confidence which will hopefully get me back to scoring in the 80s! Similar Products Used: None |

TA5 Gunmetal
Just got the Gunmetals a week ago and have loved hitting with them. I find that well hit shots fly off the face very consistantly and off center hits go relatively straight with a bit of loss in distance. Better straight and short than in the wrong fairway! I love the look of the Gunmetal, although I do worry a little about what it's going to look like in a few years. Was considering the 981's, but found this set to be much more forgiving and consistant for my level of play. Not to mention the price is more reasonable also! Similar Products Used: 981's, X-14's |

TA-5 Gunmetal
I had been using old Wilson clubs to learn the game and decided I needed something new. A friend was using the TA-3 and I decided to go with the TA-5 in Gunmetal because it was supposed to be more forgiving. It was! You will get a lot of lift in these clubs, they get the ball up quick and high. They are soft and give you a lot of touch and feel. I highly recommend to anyone playing their first few years of golf or anyone who wants a good feeling club. The Gunmetal is nice for alignment and hey, it looks good! Similar Products Used: None |

These are some great irons. There atleast a club longer than my other mizuno pro irons. These irons get the ball up in the air quickly and stop just as fast. Great irons for anyone looking for lower scores. Similar Products Used: Mizuno pro, titleist 981 |

TA-5 irons, steel shaft
I've been playing these for about a year now -- and I just love them. Very easy to hit and very forgiving. The ball just flies into the air with these low profile heads. I like the feel of ths shaft too -- light for steel. I can even hit the ball well in the long irons. Who would have thought that my 4 iron would become my "confidence club"?
