I love these irons. I got them for free from my local pro (they were his old set) They have improved my distance by ten yards and i finnaly have the same distance of my dad Im 14. Im not sure about the spin because the course I play is very fast and hard so nothing sticks |

Purchased these clubs used from GolfClubExchange.com a few months ago and I've been surprised with the results. Actually picked up about half-club distance compared to previous irons (Nike ProCombo clones). Ballflight has been easier to control, and spin is just right -- not too much. Only problem I have is with the short game. Pitching wedge is hard to control on chip shots. Flight is slightly higher than expected on chips, and ball doesn't grab the green off the clubface. Good news is I'm hitting more greens with these irons, bad news, though, not getting up and down as easily as before. These irons are definitely worth the prices you can find them used for. Cleveland makes a quality iron. Because of the irons, I switched to a Cleveland 400 Laucher driver and ordered two older model Cleveland wedges (gap and sand). I've broken 70 more often with these clubs in my bag. Although officially forged blades, the cavity back makes them forgiving. I can't remember getting stung by these clubs (expect on really cold days and a really bad swing). I highly recommend these irons for just about any golfer who makes consistent contact. |

I bought these used but in pretty good condition when my local used club store was going out of business. For under $100, I couldn't be happier. I am 13, and I usually shoot in the low 90s (although I can go a good 5 strokes above or below, depending on my game). I'm just beginning to learn to work the ball, but I can already hit a nice moderate draw or fade with relative consistancy. I couldn't do that with my brother's 845's, or with my previous set of Cleveland VAS+'s.
Customer Service No problems thus far. I bought it at 2nd Swing Golf for $80 with new Tour Velvet grips and TT Dynamic Gold shafts in case anybody was wondering. Similar Products Used: Tommy Armour 845s O-size, Cleveland VAS+, cheesy knockoff set. |

I can't believe Cleveland stopped making these! I had my doubts about trying a club so closely resembling a blade, but these launch the ball so well and feel Soooooooo good when you strike them right. There is definitely something to be said about forged irons. With the feedback I'm getting out of these I can pretty much tell what the balls going to do as soon as it leaves the face. I get terrific distance out of these on one of my better days. Guess its just time to invest in more lessons so all of my games are better days. If you can find these better snatch them up while you can. I'm going to try and get a spare set...just in case! I love these irons. I have alot of control with them. I have only played 1 round with them, but I can already tell that within a 1 month I should be shooting in the high 70's low 80's. Right now I shoot low 90's high 80's. |

This was my first set of real irons when making the transition from a 80's shooter to where I am now. Upon getting them I was just begining to shoot lower scores and these clubs helped deliver the forgiveness I needed while still learning to work the ball. I have played these clubs for about three seasons and am just now arriving to the scratch golfer territory. They are still very capable of allowing the player to work the ball in both directions (more so with a fade) and allow for a variety of shot options. I have noticed the higher trajectory from the day I bought them to now, which leads me to beleive many people will experience the same thing seeing as how I've changed my swing ALOT in the past three years. This can be a problem when trying to hit knock down shots in the wind but is still managable. Unfortunatly the courses near by offer absolutly nothing as far as spin goes so I couldn't tell you weather or not they bite, but the higher trajectory leads me to beleive they would. I would recomend these clubs to any golfer who is just becoming familiar with lower scores and wants to take his game to the next level without diving into a set of blades designed for a much lower handicap. Customer Service I purchased these clubs over the phone through Golfsmith and the customer service and shipping were great! One of the few sets that stayed in my bag for longer than a season. First off, very classic lines, and shafts (dgs300's). I still think the Cleveland grips are the best as well. They do take a little work as I fought a hard draw/hook with these for a couple of seasons. When I managed the clubs well they certainly produced the results. But as time went on I couldn't manage the punch/touch shots with these. I feel that there is just to much off-set in this set for me. I don't care what anyone's says about form forged I still think they are very very soft sticks. I recently dropped them for a set of Srixon I-302's because of the minimal off-set design these irons have. I would encourage anyone looking to transition into a players club to start here. Cleveland makes a fine product and they can be had for little money right now. I sold my FF TA3's to a friend who wanted a players iron and miracously for him his slight push/fade has become a hard straight shot with these so hey...If these sticks had the TA1 blade like off-set(as in none) they would still be in my bag. These are my first forged irons and they convinced me to never go back to cast. The feel they give when you hit them right is amazing. You simply know it's going to be a great shot as soon as you hit the ball. The Cavity backs make them more forgiving than true blades, but do not alter the feel and control of forged irons. They definetly improved my iron play from anywhere within 200 yards from the green. They'll be in my bag for a few more years, that's for sure. Similar Products Used: They are my first blades. I'm never going back to cast ever... :) |

I was looking for a forgiving muscle back club. When I tried these clubs I was amazed at how well they felt. They have a great high trajectory and great feel. I found that they aren't as forgiving on miss hits as I thought, but when you get a solid hit theses clubs definitly come through.
