You wouldn't spend this much on irons without expecting high performance.

FT iron
Best iron I've owned. I played several Callaways, Taylormades, Pings, etc and the FTs are superior. Smallish head size, modest offset and a clean appearance at address. The face is hot and about half a club longer than stainless steel irons. The titanium face provides a unique feel at impact-- soft yet slightly crisp feedback. I've been reading some reviews regarding graphite shaft vibration. It could be the high torque stock shaft. Callaway stock graphite shafts play almost a flex weaker (more so than other OEM shafts). Overall a perfect iron for the mid handicap player. Customer Service Callaway is usually good but responses have been slowing as of late. Callaway FT Irons
Got fitted at the Callaway Performance Center. Set me up with up with the TT S300 shafts. Love the feel, ball flight, and distance. Very solid at impact. I tested a lot of different brands before I went with these. The FT irons performed the best of all the brands I tried. Very forgiving also for a mid GI iron. Also has the ability to shape the ball. No problem for me when I want to draw it. More expensive than most, but worth it to me. Looks good and easy to clean. No problems with the insert. I have no complaints with anything about these irons. Long and forgiving, with great feel for non-forged iron. Customer Service Great. got fitted, and the clubs arrived at my door one week later. Callaway fitter was top shelf and very focused on getting me fit into the right irons. Similar Products Used: 09 TM Burners. Cally X22 and X22 Tour. Mizuno Mx 200. Cleveland GI irons. Callaway FT Irons
Just made the change from X Tours to FT irons and love them. Purchased these from Callaway Preowned with Dynamic Gold SL shafts + 3/4". Great feel, almost like forged and solid. When I make contact it almost feels like I am hitting one of my hybrids it feels so solid. Great look at address. If you are in the market, give these a try, they will not disappoint. Customer Service Hagan @ Callaway Preowned is great. Similar Products Used: X Tour irons |

FT Iron Regular Graphite
Just started 6 months ago and been seriously on training 2 months ago till now. I've been using an X-Tour Steel Callaway. Love it! But I found it a bit hard to learn. Don't get me wrong it a good club very straight and accurate but the disadvantage is very heavy. Now with the FT Iron very light it added more distance, much accurate and easier. Now I’m able to Swing and Snap with my wrist during impact. Timing all came together. Now my field lesson is much more fun no more sore the next day. Customer Service I've returned my FT5 Driver the last time due to Crack on the sited. No question they took it and exchange. Very good service. |

Callaway FT irons
I've been playing with a set of Titleist blades for the last couple years and have been interested in trying some Callaway's. I bought a set of the FT irons with the regular graphite shafts and after 5 rounds, I've averaged 5 to 6 shots per round. I find these irons extremely easy to hit, launch high and land soft. Rarely, anything but straight. I do find that most of the time I use 1 more club than I'm used to but no big deal unless your ego comes into play. Personally, I'd rather hit the greens and go for the pins than come up short. If you can afford these, they will be your best friends and they will pump up your confidence. I would certainly recommend them and by the way, I've got the blades up for sale. I won't be going back. I love these clubs. Similar Products Used: Titleist 822OS, Titlest CB735CM |

Callaway ft graphite irons
I haven't golfed in 8 years due to a nagging lower back pain. I tried the ft graphite at the range and got verry comfortable with them . with the change to graphite and a more relaxed swing willing to sacrafice distance for accuracy my back pain didn't flare up at all . I practised at the range with my new set and eventually the distance I was willing to sacrafice returned with pracice . I went to the course and dropped 2 strokes off my last score on the same course 8 years ago . To be fair I went again the following week and dropped 7 strokes from that . I've had these clubs for a month now and hit in the 80's with no back pain at all .The forgiveness and accuracy of these irons is great , great feel , no vibration on poor strikes . The 4 iron is the most accurate for me , straight and true 200 yrds ez . I,m so impressed with Callaway I've purchases the ft hi-bred and also the x-driver and fairway wood . All shafts are regular flex , and the scores keep improving . I wish I had invested in these quality clubs and irons years ago . The quality is there , and making the purchases from the pro shop mid season the price was verry attractive . But from the results full price would be worth the investment . I'm out every chance I get . Similar Products Used: top flight , power built |

FT Irons Steel
The Callaway FT irons are 1/2 inch shorter than other irons you may be used to. Callaway has done this intentionally because of the tungsten head weight and swing plane. Callaway is a great company and they have reshafted my clubs so that the shaft length is now the same as my other Callaway clubs. |
