These are big ugly irons for my taste. There's way too much to look at at address: The club number is stamped on the face and the top line is almost as thick as the sole of other irons. I tended to hook the long irons; maybe the extreme offset is trying to correct a slice I don't have. These might be good for beginners or someone who plays a couple of times a year, but I suspect one would out-grow these clubs as they got better. A grand is a lot of dough for these. Customer Service I asked Callaway to provide the lofts of their clubs. They refused saying it would ""confuse"" me, becuase I wouldn't know how to interpret the results. Other club manufacturers provide technical details upon request. Thanks, Callaway, for protecting me from my ignorance, but I prefer the respect for the customer shown by your competitors. I dunno... maybe big heads and soft turf don't go together well but I didn't like these clubs. Firm graphites feel soft to me and too whippy. Wedges are awful(PW,AW,SW)they tend to hit the ball high with inconsistant distance. To top it off after one use in rainy weather (it is Seattle) they had flecks of rust on them! Customer Service Excellent. I called about my rusted new Callaways and they gave me a new set... Similar Products Used: Top Flite, Ping ISI |

I had a set of strategy irons and switched to the Big Bertha Irons and have lowered my scores by 5 strokes. These clubs are so forgiving and I will never own another set of clubs except Callaway! Customer Service I just ordered two new Callaway Big Berthas and the manufacturer was very prompt with my order. Plus if anything ever goes bad with the club they will replace it free of charge. |

The topline is way too thick but these clubs are the most solid that i,ve ever hit. Personally i love the look of blades but the feel doesn't compare to these clubs. Plus i got the 2-pw for $700. Similar Products Used: almost everything |
