I just traded a set of Wilson Staff blades for these irons. I haven't made it to the course with them yet but I have hit them alot. These clubs are great. I hit them better than any club I have hit before. I love the feel and they are as long as any club I have ever hit, longer than most even though the shafts are about a half inch shorter than my last set of clubs. Trust me if you ever get a chance to try them you will love them. I have Apex 3 shafts and would like to find a matching 2 iron. If any has a 2 iron for sale e-mail me at ronnie41653@msn.com

I bought these clubs to see what a forged club played like. I think these were made in the mid 1980s and have apex 3 steel shafts. Boy, was I surprised...they force you to slow down your swing without any loss of distance and have a tremendous feel. I have found them to be much more accurate and consistant than cavity back clubs and alot more forgiving than you would think. Now I know why the big boys like forged. One of the best qualities is that you can feel the head attached to the shaft and know exactly where it is during your swing. I think I will begin trying other forged clubs to compare. I would welcome recommendations on other forged clubs. My handicap has gone from a 17 to a 7.4 and I attribute this entirely to the switch to these clubs.
