Well, I'm impressed. I've fallen for the hype of the latest technology one too many times, and am skeptical at best of "new tech". Afterall, if you slice, you slice...if you hook, you hook...this is a swing problem more than a club problem. That all said, I've always been inconsistent off the tee box, and have been a tad inconsistent with my irons...the only saving grace I've had with my game is scoring well around the greens. Well, I have to say...after my fourth round with the EVO's, my iron shots have gotten considerably more predictable. I played today and hit 13 GIR, and hit and spun off 3 more. I really pooched a couple, but a club face the size of an impala couldn't have saved me with those swings. The evo is a great feeling club. It is workable and forgiving. If you hack your way around the course, then these clubs will make your day long and the course even longer, but if you play in the sub 20 handicap I really think you will enjoy these clubs. They hit where you point them, you can shape your shots and the shorter irons invoke a fair amount of spin. These clubs would be a bargain at twice their price. Armour Evo 31's
I absolutely love these clubs. If you're a bogey golfer or better, these culbs are for you. I've been playing with orginial 845's for about 10 years. I really wanted new sticks last year and hit (and demoed a few) everything under the sun (Calloway, Titleist, Cobra, Ping, Taylor Made, Mizuno, Armour 845Ti, etc.) For lack of aynthing really knocking my socks off I was torn between the 845Ti's (since I loved my old 845s so much, or the Titleist 981s (I liked the progressive style iron), but I decided to wait. Then, low and behold Armour comes out with the Evo. I practically ran to the store to hit them, but they were hard to find (lots of store aren't carrying them due to the Armour termoil and supply problems). But if you can find these clubs, hit them and then buy them. The progression on these clubs is great. The low irons really give you some leave way and the high irons have great feel. The give you a perfect combination of workability and control. I'm hitting tons more GIRs then before, even from 200 out! Great stix! EZ to hit, Ez to work, with a good ball you can do magic! Got mine with an S3 shaft, lie was right on, may be even better when re-gripped--tour wrap style. Get these fitted correctly for maximum return. A true bargain. These irons are for the bogey or better player and if you're bogey now, you won't be for long. Blade 'look' may intimidate some---"dang, that's a small clubface"---don't be fooled, these guys Customer Service None Similar Products Used: Mizuno, Macgregor, Cleveland. |

Outstanding irons. I previously played Ping irons so the feel of the Armours took some getting used to. I have no regrets -- the feel is amazing. The irons hit the ball high and soft, accurately, and with moderate-to-good distance. These clubs aren't for aggressive swingers who want to cream the ball. They feel more like precision instruments, they make you want to swing with a sense of control. There are better clubs for hitting out of the rough but if you are in the short grass these clubs are fantastic. I switched to them because I wanted to take my game to the next level, and I haven't been disappointed. Similar Products Used: Ping ISI-S, Titleist DCI, Taylormade Burner |

Very solid irons. Short irons are really very close to a blade, you have to swing controlled and smooth for a good shot. Forgiving with fat/thin, but not so much with toe shots or heel shots or pushes and pulls-this reminds me more of a blade. Very little feedback, but I lide this since I am not constantly berating myself on the course for hitting it off the toe or hitting a bit heavy. I would say they are a perfect combination of blade and cavity, and they are good to lower your handicap as it did mine, but won't be outgrown by a better player. I find the 8,9 and wedge easy to work. If you can get over the lack of feel and just look at results, these would work for you. Just as forgiving as the Callaway X-12 if you are not a hack. I was a long time Hogan user, and these don't have the feel of Hogans, but I like the blade-like feel in the short irons for chipping, and the cavity feel for the 3 and 4 iron. Strangely enough, I find the 5, 6 irons the toughest to get used too, but I would say I am staisfied with these clubs Similar Products Used: Hogan Apex, Hogan Edge, Callaway X-12 |

Excellent irons. Great value. You can probably find a brand new set online around $400. Tri Gold shafts are excellent but take a little bit of time to get used to. V-31 are as long and as accurate as the Apex Plus at about half of the price. Similar Products Used: None |

Got the club from an old pro I met during a round a golf who bouoght these clubs when his old 845's was stolen from the garage a year ago. I traded my 845's for these evo just because the evo's looked much better. Yeah it was not a fair but it was mutual. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made LGD, Mizuno CompEZ, Cleveland, Calloway X-12 |

I bought these irons after reading positive reviews, I was not disappointed, great distance, accuracy and height on all shots. I found that they work best if you use a smooth swing and don’t try to overpower the club. I would like to thank all the other who have written the reports about this club for having helped me make my decision on my new irons Customer Service na Similar Products Used: Ping i3 |

After reading the reviews on this web site, I decided that the Armour got the most positive reviews, so I bought them. I have to say they are great, very accurate and gives you the distance you need, I don't need nor have a fairway wood, but can use the 3 iron to hit 200+ easy. Similar Products Used: None |

I don't claim to be a very good golfer but I have hit in the high 70's a few times but average in the low 80's. I have used about every cheap club and some costly ones. I must say that I have found that the EVO 31's are great. I like the feel and the distance. They are very nice to look at too. After Tear Drop golf filed for chapter 13 or what ever it was, the price of these clubs went down. So now they can be bought at a big savings over last years pices. I highly recomend these clubs!
