Purchased in December 2000, and have played these clubs 10 times now. Came with medium/stiff steel shafts. Absolutely excellent feel on all irons. Short irons are especially easy to work. Can swings these babies quite hard without loosing control. Good accuracy from my previous graphite shaft clubs.

I think that these clubs are great. They have great feel, and these irons alow you to work the ball. You would think there would have to be a flaw in a club, but no, not in these. They have an awesome look to them and they perform unbelievable

WOW!! These are nice irons! They have a crisp feel and good balance. The long irons seem to react well to off center hits and the trajectory is high and produces soft landings. I normally do not produce alot of backspin but with these short irons (8-60*) that seems to be changing, (I doubt that my swing has improved). I feel that these are the future of irons

Bought these used over the net. Was tired of getting away with murder with my cavity backs and was looking for something to help groove my swing. I have the V-31 blades but got the reduced offset version. Very classic look at address but with some of the latest technology, nothing wrong with that. These were the answer for me. Outstanding feel on center hits. Heel hits don't hurt but don't feel great, just kinda there. The toe hits do provide enough pain to discourage you from hitting there. I don't know the last time I successfully executed a fade with my TM LCG's. Just quit trying, would always come off straight. These do exactly what you put into them. They just aren't as shiny as the V-25's nor as $$. They also have a bit more perimeter weighting in them than the V-25's. I have the Tri-Gold shafts in mine, wasn't sure how I would like them but so far so good. Armour sure recovered well from their Ti-100 debacle that Norman lists in his top 10 worst club disasters of the past decade. But that's apples to oranges comparing them to these. If you are tired of "game improvement get away with murder" clubs and are ready to take the step to a blade "swing improvement" club, I would recommend getting fitted for a set of these. I am definately set for the summer now.

Wanted these clubs for a long time, finally found them used at a local golf shop. Hit them and fell in love. Long and straight with the long irons, short irons are ACCURATE! If you can find them, buy them. An excellent club for the mid-handicapper like me. Good value too -- cheaper than many other high-quality clubs. Hats off to Tommy Armour for creating a great club!!

Great clubs. I like that each club is designed differently. The shafts vary for each one.

Excellent clubs for low to mid handicapper. Offset helps on longer irons. Great look and longer than my Mizunos. Very hard feel on hard golf balls but work the ball well with softer covered balls. Recommended.

bought these just for fun, they are a very good looking club, these are the only club that has taken a little time to get a feel for, i play titleist 990s with dgs300 shafts. the tri gold shaft in stiff feels more like a reg compared to my titleist, also the armoures are about one club shorter, other than all this they are very nice clubs with very predictable distances. if you have the game for 990s go with them, if not these will make a nice playable set for you
