Got the 1 iron through PW. I have fallen for these clubs. Great feeling and easy to work with. The one iron has almost replaced my driver and i can hit my Callaway 320. These are the best clubs i have ever tried. Similar Products Used: Ping, Callaway, Wilson, Mizuno, |

I shoot in the high 80's. Sweet Irons. Small face so you need to hit the ball in the sweet spot, or else it doesn't go. If you point them in the right direction they go. I have been within a foot of the pin from 100 yds a couple of times in the last few rounds. Ball lands very soft on the green with these irons. Very easy to work these irons into the green, fade and draw well. Higher irons are more like blades and have a tremendous amount of feel. Formerly used Tommy 855's and these are a precision set of tools in comparison. Customer Service no experience Similar Products Used: Callaway X-14; Mizuno comp ez; |

V31 Reduced Offset Blades
I bought the V31's about 6 weeks ago. My first round was 87, then 83, 82, and last week an 80 with two doubles on the back nine(lost tee balls). At first I found the yardages shorter than my former set but as of the last round, I have completely turned it around. I'm getting the 7 iron out 160-170 easy and teed off with my 3 iron on a few holes. On one par 4, I hit it 230 off the tee. Very solid feel and so far, quite forgiving. One complaint though....why do golf companies continue to put crap grips on their irons. I know the obvious answer but don't they think that it will help the marketability of the club if it had nice grips??? My V31's have the 50th anniversary golf prides on them. BARF!!!! Next summer I'll strip those puppies off and put on some decent Lamkin cords. Other than the grips, I'm very pleased. Similar Products Used: Titleist 990, 981 |

these are the best irons i have ever played. i deciede to wait to post a reivew until i used them for a few months, and i couldn't be happier. I switched from 855s w/stiff. these are 10 yards longer than the 855 with a regular flex. i have a swing speed of about 80-85 mph on average and hit my 7 iron 170 yards, so i very rarely use any long irons. i can now confidently tee off with an iron a know i am going to be long and in the fairway. the only club longer was the new wilson fatshaft irons( 175-180 yard 7 iron). the wilson's had less fell and the heads were to big for me. i felt that feel was more important than distance. Customer Service took way to long to get my sandwege, buy out by another company delayed more than two months Similar Products Used: wilson fatshaft, titiest 981, callaway x-12 and x-14, armour 855 and Ti1000, Taylor Made supersteel and firesole |

WOW!!! What a set of irons!! Had been using a set of Big Bertha Clones - oversized (component parts that I put together myself). Decided it was time to buy a name brand and always wanted a blade-type iron to see if you can really "feel" the ball. Won a bid on EBAY for a slightly used set, 2-PW. Went to the local golf shop and bought the matching GAP (51*) wedge. After a couple of rounds, saw as much as a two club difference in shots. 7-iron went 175 yards, 5-iron 195 yards. Able to fade or draw to get out of trouble. For me, I noticed that if I used a softer ball like the Titleist Balata or Professional, the ball would "spring" off the clubs. Harder balls seem to not have the "feel". And if seems the smoother/slower you swing, the farther they go. Still carry a fairway wood, but not needed because of the distance of the 2 and 3 irons. I have played Titleist for about 6 years and simply decided to try these after hearing about them from a friend. Well, the Titleist are now in the closet. I have had these only two weeks but I really love the feel of the club. I think they are too long for me and will get them fitted for me this week.
