Bought these clubs spring 02'. I went from shooting in the low 80's to high 70's. Great feel and good distance. In my opinion these are solid clubs. I dont think they would be the best choice for a Beginner. Customer Service Havent tried Similar Products Used: Ping Eye2's |

I love these irons! Just sold the Callaway X-14's on Ebay. Have played about 4 times with the reduced offset V-31's, and really like them. If you are a good player and like a thin profile head, these can't be beat for the price. I paid $178 with shipping for a new set through E-Bay. What a deal! I have shot 77 twice in a row with them, and love the feel. I got stiff flex steel, although I would have bought regular flex if I found them. The stiff flex feels fine. I have read some negative comments about the Tri Gold shafts, and the factory grips, but I like both features. I do occassionally catch one thin, and of course you know it with these type blades, but I am hitting the ball consistantly well. I had originally thought I would create my own combo set with the Evo short irons, and X-14 long irons. I've found I hit the Evos plenty well and the X-14's are history. Hard to believe these irons could not find a market.... if Titleist made them they would be a huge hit. If you have a solid swing and like the feel of a traditional wedge in your hand from 75 yards... these are for you... Customer Service unknown Similar Products Used: Snake Eyes TC01, Titleist 762 |

Not forgiving on thin shots and I gave up about 10-15 meters over my old 845s. However, I have not looked back from the day I took them home. I have improved my games with these clubs, I can better control and shape my shots and thanks to the true temper shafts, the feedback out of clean shots is just great. They come with very good grips and the looks, they are the best looking clubs by far. I would recommend these clubs to any serious golfers. Customer Service I have not had the need. This is a good club at the right price. However, it's not too forgiving; you need to hit at the center or the club face to get control and distance. This is not a right club for beginner because I suffered at the beginning just the get the ball in the air. |

Armour 845 V/31
To begin I'll state that I’ve been a Tommy Armour enthusiast since the beginning of my golf experience… nineteen years now… I started off with the old and hard to come across Concept 2 irons, and still have them in excellent condition… as my game progressed and the desire to improve grew I switched to the 845ss irons… a substantial improvement was made with the switch… from the beginning my handicap started off at about 18-22 evolving to about a 6 now… I’ve become an avid golfer now as I’ve given up some other bad habits and have more time to spend on the course… in my younger years I was somewhat of a formidable athlete and golf has become a very valuable distraction and hobby… and the ability to show marked improvement at my age (44) is a great motivator and provides an exciting self satisfaction… I made the switch from the 845ss’s to the V-31 just last year and the improvement continues… other than the obvious, the lowering of my handicap, I recorded my first hole-in-one with my first season using the V-31’s… a beautiful golf shot at 143 yards using the 8-iron… and I have also holed out from the fairway a few times with the longest being a 167 yard 5-iron into a strong head wind… of course these are only the most dramatic of instance’s showing the improvement… consistently my target accuracy has shown dramatic improvement and with miss hits the results are usually not to hard to recover from… the club may not have a large sweet spot but good contact is rewarded substantially… the clubs have given me the valuable confidence over the ball and we all know that is basically what it’s all about… I have strayed from Armour experimenting on my quest for improvement (mainly with Titleist irons) and have returned to Amour in short order… if you’re looking for marked improvement and have a fundamentally sound swing these V-31’s are the ticket… I like these so much I have just purchased the V-25 forged version of this club… either way if the forged iron does not suit me I’ll comfortably stick with the V-31’s as I feel that there are no limits on progress with these quality sticks… I’m amazed there not more popular on the course, but to tell the truth that doesn’t bother me any, I’ve found them and that’s what matters… I’m always getting compliments on the look of the club and I know what they will do… and on the course I generally keep that to myself… there’s usually a skin or two on the line… Similar Products Used: Tommy Armour 845ss, Titleist 990... |

Tommy Armour V-31 Irons
I have tested dozens of irons, including forged blades by Hogan, Titleist and Nike, and cast clubs from half a dozen others. None of the other irons even comes close to the V-31s (and that includes the Armour V-25s). The balance is awesome, the swingweights are perfect (you can feel the clubhead wonderfully through the swing). The price is crazy cheap. These things are going for $150 on ebay. I own two sets--one for practice and one for play! Similar Products Used: Hogan Blades |

"Love at first sight" is the best pharse to describe this club. Its'feature is really really beautiful.I switched frm goldwin avdp to this club cause i'm seeking the club which offers me consistency and accuracy;actually, goldwin gave me a fantastic distance and feeling but it's rather hard to control the ball, because of my club speed .anyway, after used this club,my score fell sharply ,frm around 86-88 to 80-81.Oh !! it's great, wasn't it.Short irons offer me really great feeling and long irons offer me great distance.I 'll surely recommend this club to my friend who 's seeking better score.OH! i really love it. |

I switched from a set of Tiger Shark Great Whites because I wanted something with less offset. I could hit the Great Whites quite long and was a bit concerned that I might lose some length with the Armours. However, I find I have not lost any length and the clubs have feel and forgiveness. They look great and for the price they match up with clubs costing a lot more. I am happy. I went from shooting in the low 90s to shooting in the mid to low 80s. I can't say the club alone did this, my golfing partner was a big help, but the new clubs didn't hurt either. Customer Service Haven't had to use Armour's service. However, Rock Bottom golf was a great to deal with when I bought them. Similar Products Used: Tiger Shark Great White Power Cell. |

These are the Anakin Skywalkers of irons. They bring "balance" to the cavity back and blade debate by incorporating the best of both - forgiveness in the long and mid-irons and the accuracy and feel of blades in the short. Tri Gold shafts feel excellent and do what they advertise. The heads look great at address, not clunky and obtuse like many current models. Most underrated clubs, next to the Lynx Parallaxes, of all time. Definitely one of the best values in golf at this time as prices are ridiculously low. Kills resale value, but is no concern as I plan on keeping these forever. They have a reduced offset version as well. Customer Service Have not had to deal.
