GT Performance
I started with an ancient set of Citation blades (35 yrs old). I tried a number of clubs before deciding on the Adams. Bang for the buck you cannot beat them. My accuracy went way up (5 yards either way of where I intended the ball to go. Distance was not as far (still goes 140 yards with a 7 iron), but the loft was much higher. I used my inlaws Ping 3's and friends Callaways before purchasing. They are not that much better if at all and cost about $800 more. Super value!!!, forgiving, accurate. All you could want in a club for 4#'s the $. Customer Service I've never had to use them. Similar Products Used: Ping I3 Callaway Wilson Fat Shaft Deep Red Cobra |

First of all, I've been a very satisfied user of Adams GT Performance Irons for over 1 1/2 years. But as my swing has improved, I really wanted an iron w/less or no offset. I finally found a set of Adams GT Tours w/Regular GT Shafts & scooped them up. They're better than I imagined. The clubhead is smaller than the Performance, but still substantial enough to impart confidence at address. These are point & shoot for me. They set up perfectly for my eye & I love the GT shaft. Excellent around the greens as well. Very solid at impact. My expectations were high & they were exceeded. Customer Service Very quick response to questions. Not much good to say about these clubs. Very poor head feel during the swing. Feedback from shots was difficult to perceive and distance was 15 yards shorter than the X-12's I was using at the time. GT Ultimates
I had also research for ages and demo'd a lot of clubs before settling on the Adams Gt ultimates. The price online is excellent and far better than here in Australia so I waited until i got a set below us$300. sweet. Straight off to the range with my precept sa71's in tow to compare. As per my demo's, excellent feel through impact and a lovely draw now apparent where there was a slice before. No changes to my setup or swing, half a club up in distance at least. I haven't encountered a lower ball flight as mentioned by other reviews i've seen but when i catch it thin i still get a great trajectory oddly enough and great forgiveness. I thought the thinner topline might put me off, but my old clubs already feel like shovels now. A more thorough test on the course will follow but my initial impression are excellent and i made the right choice. Fantastic club and a fantastic price, you can't go wrong. Customer Service Not need yet, but Adams in the US assured me that even if i'd purchased there I could get support from the local distributor. Could be tricky but they allayed my concerns. Similar Products Used: None like the GT shaft but TM 200 steel, TM 320, etc. Should have tried more but these are a pick regardless |

Adams GT Irons
These are wonderful irons. I did a lot of research and went to the local golf range a number of times to demo different iron sets..They get the ball up in the air easily and I don't feel the need to overswing. Right out of the box I played a very tough course and did very well, which says something about their ease of use..No worries about having to adjust your swing or "get used" to them..For the money, these clubs are awesome. Customer Service First time using ebay. found a golf club retailer on there and saved over 250 bucks, even with shipping..took 1 week. No problems at all Similar Products Used: Cleveland 845's, Taylor Made 320's, 360's |

GT Ultimates
After doing some research and playing a few demo clubs I decided on the Adams Ultimates. I got them fitted through Adams and I can't be happier. I have gone through a few sets. Tommy Armours/Pings/Mizunos/ etc. etc. and this set is so much more easier to use than any set I have ever tried. It is accurate, long, consistent, and even if it is blade shaped at address, it plays like a game improvement iron with the feel of a forged club at impact bec. of the graphite tip. I first noticed the incredible feel when I hit it at the hitting cage at the local golf shop. Then I took it to the range and then the course a few times. I am so glad I bought the set, this set has helped me win a tourney, and take my buddies money more often than the other sets I have owned! That is my bottom line. Sweeet!! Customer Service Outstanding customer service. They custom fitted me at the local store and sent me a fitted set in no time (less than a week) Plus the gave me decals. Adams tight Lies GT "Performance" @ "Ultimate" irons
Do NOT buy these irons!!!! I feel like I have found the absolute perfect set of sticks and don't want anyone else to have the significant advantage these clubs offer. I've hit every club worth hitting, and they don't make anything better than the GT's. Easy to get up, draw bias, and awesome back spin. The shafts "make" these clubs. Absolute genius! I've owned Pings, Cleveland's, and more recently Hogan's. All great clubs, just not as great as the GT's. I "lost the bubble" on my higher (3-5 iron)Hogan Apex Plus irons, so I checked out a set of "Performance" GT's from my local golf shop. After a few whacks on the range, I fell in love. I have never hit an easier 3 iron. Amazing. While the "Performance" GT's are very sweet, I did notice they were about an iron shorter than my typical distance. No biggie, just go up an iron. I'm not proud of this, but unfortunately, ego became a factor. That is the "only" reason I tried the "Ultimate" GT's. Didn't think it was possible, but the Ultimate's are just as sweet, plus they hit 1-2 clubs longer than the Performance GT's. I am in Love! Don't let the very few "poor" reviews keep you from trying/buying these irons. Those reviews have no substance. Nobody hit's a club once and is qualified to rate it. And since when has hooking been a problem for other than a rare few golfer's? If you put even a remotely good swing on the ball w/ these clubs, you'll get a high, strait (slight draw) shot, that hit's the green w/ some serious "snot". Recommend "Performance" for a high handicapper and "Ultimate" for anybody who want's to play this game. I should be an Adam's rep. I adore these clubs so much, I've talked 4 people into buying them. Fortunately, none are in my regular 4some;o) Customer Service No experience Similar Products Used: Ping I-2/IST/I-3, Cally X-12/14/VFT, Cleveland VAS, Hogan Apex Plus, Mizzy 33/MX-11, etc, etc., etal |

Adams Tight Lies GT Irons
Played my first round with GT Irons today. Have used graphite shafts for 3 years and previously played with steel shafts. These irons with the GT shafts are solid, solid, solid . Long irons were straight with a very solid feel and no vibration. The low center of gravity seems to promote a smoother swing. My first round with the clubs was a 91 even though I was not sure of the distance & hit a couple of shots long . (but straight) These clubs are high quality clubs that seem to live up to the Adams literature about the best of steel and graphite combined in the GT shaft. Have played 3 rounds with these clubs. The only thing I can say is that each time I have played them I have liked them more than the previous round. They feel great! Pured shots do feel like forged irons, and yes, I have played forged irons. Good distance. Very stable. Some correction on off-center hits with appropriate feedback. For me. they set up nicely and just beg to take it right at the pin. Offset is not distracting. I have played a lot of different clubs, and I anticipate that these will be in the bag for some time. Of course, I have said that before. I am surprised that more people are not playing these sticks. For a lot less than you would pay for current Titleists, Mizunos, Maxflis, and the Cleveland and Precept forged clubs, these Adams are definite winners! They also look mahvelous. Best review is on www.golfonline.com. Be careful that you get the right flex as they tend to play on the stiff side. I'm playing the R flex, as age is now part of the equation. Adams Ultimate GT Irons
I just picked up a set of the Adams Ultimate GT Irons with Graphite shafts for a decent price of $340 delivered on Ebay. I was concerned about all graphite but after I hit them and measured my swing speed they matched right up. These clubs are not as forgiving as my Calloway knock offs are, but they are much more accurate and easier to hit. I would also say I'm getting a few extra yards here and there, but I thinks its a matter of getting used to the new lofts. 8 through wedges are closer and the 4 iron is solid from 175-80. I'm still not willing to give up the 7 wood for the 3 iron yet, but in certain situations I can see the need. What I can't see is paying $600 plus for Pings or Calloways.
